21/03/2025: Welcoming, intimate, warm place, with few well-spaced seats (great added value for me), excellent food. We ate the fixed menu (wine, sparkling water, appetizer, first course, second course, dessert and digestive). Everything was delicious, homemade (fresh pasta included), and with generous portions. If I have to find a single flaw, they could improve the extraction of the hood since we left the place with decidedly "smelly" clothes. But it is a flaw that many trattorias have with an open kitchen communicating with the room. Except for this, we spent a wonderful evening and will definitely return. One of the few "real" places left in the center of Trieste after the mass arrival of tourists. Absolutely correct price and in line with the quality of the food.

21/03/2025: Eccellente! We ate very well and celebrated the day - the recommendations of the day were particularly special - the molecchi were excellent. The preparation, the serving with petals, the service - all in all very outstanding - ottimo!

16/03/2025: The service is BAD. There were 3 of us, we asked for 2 coffees, 1 tonic water and 3 slices of cake. We got off to a bad start from minute 1, the waiter made us get up to see the "remaining" cakes. The COLD coffees arrived, 20 minutes later I had to get up to ask for the cakes. Instead of apologizing, the waiter started arguing and wanted to be right...then he understood and changed his attitude. When it comes time to pay, yes he is apologetic and didn't charge us for the coffees. He's not to blame, it's the new management that is terrible. It's not the first time I've had a bad time in this place and it's a shame because the place is beautiful and if you want to buy a book, even more so. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

02/04/2025: Il ristorante "Al Rugantino" ? Semplicemente un tripudio di colori, ... una rapsodia di sapori ... Sì, questo è "Al Rugantino" ... (preciso che frequento questo locale almeno tre volte alla settimana da alcuni mesi)

01/04/2025: Il locale è molto carino ed accogliente ma il cibo purtroppo non accontenta le aspettative: provato più volte la pizza (solo quella quindi il giudizio è riferito alla pizza) ma.. mozzarella cruda, pomodoro crudo, povere nei condimenti, marinara senza aglio.. Loro si credono una succursale del ristorante di Cracco ma purtroppo non è così. Peccato.

06/04/2025: I only ate one pizza but it was amazing. Delicious as only the south can make it! The staff, almost completely female, always with a smile. I will definitely return!

25/03/2025: We had to go to a concert in the area, and before going we decided to get a pizza here. The place is really beautiful and well-kept, the pizza was excellent. Everyone is very kind and the price is average. Unfortunately I live a bit out of the way so it's inconvenient for me. But if I happen to be in the area again I'll definitely go back!

18/02/2025: Torno a distanza di anni in questo locale e ritrovo la stessa atmosfera vivace del passato, il servizio semplice e informale, i prezzi accettabili considerando lo standard della zona. Purtroppo però trovo anche conferme per la cucina, semplice ma anche molto ‘turistica’, con buona cottura ma con ingredienti di qualità ‘media’ che non riescono a dare ai piatti un gusto particolare. Le quantità poi mi sembrano un po’ più ristrette rispetto al passato, che mi erano sembrate invece abbondanti. Io provo delle sardine fritte (uno dei pochi piatti disponibili con ingredienti ‘freschi e locali’) (13 euro) e un’insalata mista (5 euro). Con il coperto a 2 euro e un quartino di vino bianco frizzante della Casa (4,50 euro) spendo 24,50 euro. Locale idoneo per una cena discreta a un prezzo non esagerato, non certo per una serata al gusto di tipicità locali che del resto in zona è sempre più difficile riuscire a fare, quanto meno in locali di fascia media e di prezzo non esorbitante.

10/02/2025: Questo ristorante è perfetto sotto tutti i punti di vista. Ambiente accogliente, personale estremamente professionale e cibo eccellente! Tutto avrei potuto pensare tranne di mangiare un pesce freschissimo e cucinato magistralmente in un paese dell'entroterra Friulano!! Complimenti a tutto lo staff!!!

18/01/2025: Nice little restaurant where you can eat an excellent dish of spaghetti with clams (the dish is called "Fantasie del pescatore"), but also a good pizza. Nice staff! I'll be back!

13/09/2024: Pizza was mediocre - tasted OK (but it doesn't blow you away) but something on my pizza wasn't fresh - I had a stomach ache afterwards. Prices were definitely too high for that. The service was friendly and everything went well. Unfortunately I can't recommend it and we won't be going there again.

07/04/2025: The Atlantide has charm, it is very appropriately reminiscent of a ship without being kitschy. The waiters are polite and willing to have a nice chat if you can handle Italian. And the menu has a good selection, I chose Strozzapreti with spicy sauce. Excellent choice I must say, highly recommended. We'll be back!

01/04/2025: We had lunch there in February 2025. Service was prompt and friendly. The pastas we ordered from the daily menu were really tasty. I appreciated that one could order a smaller glass of wine for the taste with the lunch. Nice white table cloths and a relaxing atmosphere. We will be back.

22/12/2024: Luogo perfetto. Ambiente accogliente e retrò, servizio ineccepibile e cibo ottimo. Cozze, pasta al granzoporo,gnocchi agli scampi e tocai. Sorbetto offerto. 56 euro ben spesi. Torneremo!!! Maoooo!

13/11/2024: Ci sono stato un sabato a pranzo . lo avevamo notato qualche settimana prima ma era tutto pieno. stavolta siamo stati fortunati. si tratta di una trattoria a gestione familiare molto accogliente con cucina tradizionale , fatta con amore e semplicità. 07/04/2025: We ate really well and with correct portions, taking the tourist menu. With three cold appetizers (portioned well for 10 people), dessert, coffee and ammazzacaffé, as well as the wine included in the menu, we got by with €40. I would say that it is a fair price for a fish-based meal. Friendly service.

03/04/2025: I ordered Cozze "Marinara", unfortunately no marinara (no sauce)! Generally small portions Price excessive!
