16/10/2025: We've been here twice this week. We've always had great food. So far, the new management seems excellent. If we really have to make a comment, we didn't like the way the zucchini and cheese in the Nerano pasta 🥒🧀 were reduced to a creamy consistency. Personally, we prefer the zucchini chips and grated provolone del Monaco. But, as we all know, every chef likes to add their own touch of style 😉

11/10/2025: As tourists, this restaurant was recommended to us. In my opinion, it's small and cramped, with tables too close together and an unwelcoming atmosphere. We ordered fish dishes, which, in my opinion, weren't fresh and well-cooked, leaving much to be desired. Expectations were already questioned from the start, given the restaurant's style, which aims to do more of everything (pizza, meat, fish, etc.). Despite the mediocre quality, the prices are high.

08/10/2025: The pizza is delicious. At least half the menu is dedicated to it. Service is generally fast, at least at lunchtime. The dough is perfect. I recommend it.

30/09/2025: The pizza was good, a little heavy. They have so many flavors, maybe a little too many. The place was empty, but we probably had a bad day because the food was good, the people were friendly, and they offered you limoncello at the end.

Considering the rather high price (2 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 waters, 1 glass of red wine, 2 coffees, €79) for lunch, the portions were too small, including the glass of wine. The staff should learn to smile.

23/09/2025: The staff were friendly; despite not having a reservation, they quickly seated us. The frico was delicious... The thing that left me speechless... if you forget your reading glasses... no problem!!!! They even thought of that!! Well done, well done, well done!

05/10/2025: With great regret, two stars. Pizza with a burnt bottom (unacceptable) 2 slices...not exceptional, A ribolla, 2 tiramisu and a scoop of ice cream, 2 bottles of water...more than 90 euros. And the price is not the reason for the negative review.

20/10/2025: A bit hard to find due to construction. Typical Italian pizza and fish dishes. The food was quite good, but the ambiance took some getting used to.

23/08/2025: It deserves a 6th star, beautiful castle park, excellent and discreet advice that exactly matched our taste, delicious rabbit, excellent beans with gambarreti, outstanding cheese platter, outstanding white chocolate mousse, very fine spumante rossato, rarely have we eaten so well, a pleasure to be able to enjoy this work of art.

24/07/2025: A prestigious restaurant in beautiful Spilimbergo. The dining room is very welcoming. There are four of us, and we're seated at a charming table with a window overlooking the valley. The menu features local influences with gourmet touches. The frico is excellent, accompanied by the fillet of the valley's "queen" beef. The Pitina, a typical Friulian cured meat, is also very interesting. The price for two courses each, a bottle of prosecco and coffee, is €50 per person.

19/10/2025: A few minutes’ walk from the Castle, Osteria al Marinaio is a real gem. The goulash was incredibly tender – the meat practically melted in the mouth – and paired beautifully with the polenta, which was soft, delicate, and light, creating the perfect balance. The dessert, enriched with a touch of grappa, along with the wine and coffee, was a very pleasant finish. Even the lentils, though a bit salty for my taste, were flavorful and hearty. The atmosphere is truly unique and cozy, almost like being in a countryside cottage rather than in the city. It can get crowded, and service may take a little time, but the experience is absolutely worth it. A warm, authentic spot for anyone looking to enjoy a comforting meal in a welcoming setting.

16/10/2025: On the two occasions we've dined with our dog, we've found the staff to be warm, professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The food, both meat and seafood, is delicious and beautifully prepared and served. The bill is fair, and the satisfaction we felt at the end of the meal naturally led us to compliment them on their ability to make us have a pleasant time. Thanks again.

29/10/2025: Friendly taverna, nice atmosphere, great foods. It is worth to leave behind the city centre and visit this place for a lunch or dinner.
