09/05/2026: I would give this place zero Stars if I could. The cover charge of 4 Euros is ridiculous. They also charge 4 euros for a bottle of water and they only have one size no smaller bottles available. The staff was rude and inattentive. I waited 10 minutes and no one came to take my order so I got up and left. No way would I ever set foot in this place again

02/05/2026: Lunch today for my birthday, terrible service. They forgot our table and made us wait over an hour for the dish we ordered. Keep your nerves steady and never come back! 🙄

15/12/2025: 5 out of 5 stars for everything! Location, setting, food, presentation, and the friendliness and kindness of the staff (a very important factor). All the dishes were excellent, their quality and presentation, and the empathy of the waiter (alas, I don't remember his name) who recommended the traditional biscuits with Marsala wine to finish our meal. This is a place where they make you feel at home, sitting at a table with friends. My husband and I will definitely return to this wonderful place.

10/05/2026: A popular restaurant and pizzeria in Udine, always a guarantee. The dishes are all excellent quality, and even the wood-fired pizzas are delicious. The staff is courteous and welcoming, and they try to accommodate all their guests' requests. Their pastries are also worth trying; the desserts are truly delicious.

13/06/2026: We visited this café during our stay and were delighted. My wife and I each ordered a coffee with hot chocolate and cream, which was absolutely delicious – wonderfully creamy, aromatic, and perfectly prepared. I also tried a traditional vanilla pastry filled with a generous amount of fresh vanilla cream. It was incredibly tasty, fresh, and just the right balance of sweet and creamy. My wife opted for a shortbread cookie, which, although rather small, was absolutely delicious. The quality of the food and drinks was excellent, and you can tell that freshness and flavor are paramount here. We would definitely return and highly recommend this café.

04/03/2026: Everything was very good, the staff were very friendly, everything was really excellent, you can taste every little difference in the flavor, I really like it, you can taste all the flavors and tastes of their Rugantino area, however, it's very easy to get there for those coming from Udine and for those coming from outside Udine. I'm from Godia and I got there in about 10 minutes, maybe a little less because in the evening it's much less noisy than during the day. The location of that place is also very suitable for families with children, so I find it very important for organizing dinners with friends and colleagues, etc. An excellent reference point for everything; if I'm not mistaken, it's also open for lunch and can be reached by bus lines 1, 2, and 3. It's also accessible by the new bus line 81, which connects the center of Udine with the hospital ring road and Via Colugna (although in my opinion, since it already overlooks the main lines, it doesn't make much sense). Furthermore, even when the bus from out-of-town locations, such as Tolmezzo, Gemona, etc., is closed, you can stop at the Chiavris stop and wait for the first bus, or for bus line 2 coming from Feletto, or bus line 81 coming from Via Colugna, as well as the hospital ring road to reach the historic center, formerly line 1 (years ago, this line passed through the historic center before the ZTL, and after the ZTL was introduced, they forced a change in its route). The only problem is the parking. It's located on the road, but with a bit of luck, you should find some free space on the internal streets...

11/10/2025: Recommended trattoria, with tasty and beautifully presented seafood dishes. Friendly owners. We opted for mussels with chili pepper instead of pepper, and instead of the mussels with pepper, we opted for mussels with impeperoncina (a type of mussels with pepper), followed by fish gratin and sardines in saor (sautéed sardines). The house wine by the glass is good, both still and sparkling. Prices are reasonable. Free street parking is available near the restaurant. Worth a stop for some food and wine.

26/04/2026: Delicious pizza! The other dishes were good too. Good service. The decor might be a bit over the top for some, but overall it was a lovely evening. Reservations are probably recommended on weekends, as it's popular with locals.

18/06/2025: I was there this morning, the brioche was very good but I was really shocked by the rudeness of the girl who replaces Cristina, I had already had the opportunity to see it and I had also heard about it. I basically went to pay and she asked me if I paid for everything, I told her yes, she gave me the bill and when I went out I checked and saw that she had added to the bill the 2 cappuccinos that 5 minutes before a friend of ours had gone to pay for himself, I went back in, I asked her if she remembered this person because I didn't want her to think I was ripping her off, she didn't even listen to me, she got angry saying that I was the one who had to tell her what we had and that she didn't know if they had paid for the cappuccinos because there were 100 of us, actually there were 7 of us! I described the gentleman to her but she talked over me! There weren't many people and she remembered all our drinks very well but not that they had paid for 2 cappuccinos 5 minutes before??? Come on! And in any case a little calm and good manners wouldn't hurt!

05/06/2026: Very nice family restaurant. We were here 3 times in row in 3 days. Tried practically everything from the menu. Starters, pizza, burgers, pasta, deserts...grappa. everything was fabulous. We tried spaghetti carbonara in almost every restaurant we were in during our stay and they were definitely the best here. Service was also very good and friendly. I definitely recommend it.

04/06/2026: I've never eaten such bad pasta (it has nothing to do with al dente! Rock hard!) 😛 and nobody even asks how you liked it 😏 I wouldn't recommend the restaurant either!

19/05/2026: The food was good overall, however, the positive impression was unfortunately severely marred by the service. I have rarely experienced such a rude and unfriendly waiter. There is definitely room for improvement in how they treat guests.
