31/01/2025: True local dining..!!! I was introduced to it by a winery. It was so delicious even though I was really, really tired. The wine pairing is also amazing. The idea of ​​it being a kind of omakase. Specializing in raw fish. It's shrimp and carpaccio with no fishy taste at all, but they also have aged sashimi, and they keep serving it until you call for appetizer stop (of course, they charge a price for each menu, but it's usually around 4-9 euros). Dried fish alpastar really... Is this why it’s Italian food? True al dente but not hard. Homemade drinks and soup (shrimp) before the meal. Is soup really a hangover? Everything was perfect, and excluding the wine, it cost about 125 euros for two. 10% VAT included. (so no tip) Michelin 3 stars in my heart. Would love to visit this area again just to stay here

16/02/2025: Personally the best pizzeria in Trieste. Discovered by chance, it turned out to be a gem. Wide choice of pizzas also with local ingredients, unquestionable quality, very fast service and friendly staff. I also recommend the Italian starter: plentiful and delicious. Prices are competitive. There is not only pizza, it is also possible to order first and second courses.

The service was quick and attentive, with the staff being helpful and courteous. A nice gesture was the appetizer offered, which gave an extra touch of attention to our experience. As for the pizzas, there are several particular options, with quality ingredients. However, a note worth mentioning is the lack of flavor in the pizzas, which did not make the flavors particularly exciting, but still pleasant. In addition to pizzas, the menu also offers some first and second courses, including fish options, for those looking for greater variety. A small inconvenience concerns the parking, which is not easily available along the street, but this is a minor detail compared to the overall quality. Ultimately, if you are looking for a simple and unpretentious pizza in San Vito al Tagliamento, the Pizzeria Ristorante Luna Nuova is a choice that I can recommend.

Sia la signora che il marito cuoco sono stati gentili e ci hanno spiegato alcune caratteristiche dei piatti e della città. Plus un ottimo merlot in caraffa!Davvero un bel posto per cenare

In business since 1986, the restaurant “Da Afro” offers authentic local cuisine, with a careful selection of wines and raw materials (often from his garden/farm). They also have a hotel with 8 rooms, I recommend you try to have dinner at his place and if you are far away to stop and sleep and with the excuse drink a few more bottles. Every time I pass by his area I stop to have a chat over a glass of wine🍷 and then eat a nice first course! You won't regret it 😇

23/01/2025: Local a few steps from the main square. Very simple and essential place. The menu is very extensive, offering typical dishes of Friulian cuisine, meat main courses but also some fish dishes. They also have vegan options: both single dishes and pizza with plant-based “mozzarella” (taken from our friends). We tried the pumpkin gnocchi with smoked ricotta, butter and sage and they didn't taste like pumpkin and were in a butter broth. And finally a coffee. Unfortunately I wouldn't go back.

06/04/2025: Qualità del cibo davvero scarsa. Pizze senza ne arte ne parte, pasta poco abbondante per il prezzo e soprattutto con ingredienti di scarsa qualità, nello specifico i molluschi. Il gusto inesistente. Una persona al nostro tavolo ha preso antipasto di cozze che erano davvero scarne e senza gusto e poche ore dopo è stato piuttosto male. Non ci torneremo mai più e non lo consigliamo a nessuno
