01/04/2024: Impeccable Easter lunch. Unusual and excellent quality menu: aperitif, starter, 2 excellent first courses (ravioli with pesto and burrata and risotto), 2 second courses of meat (roast and lamb) with exquisite side dishes and the final dessert a unique delicacy with light cream and strawberries. Very welcoming and forgiving environment, infinitely kind, thoughtful and helpful. I highly recommend it

03/04/2024: We were there on Easter Sunday and only discovered the restaurant by chance. Despite the low season, there was a notice on the door saying "The restaurant is full". It can't be that bad then. We tried it anyway without a reservation because we didn't want to keep looking in the rain. Restaurant was actually full, mostly Italians and a few Austrians. Nevertheless, the owner was able to get a table ready for us after a few minutes. Already the first positive experience. Until then, we enjoyed a gin and tonic at the bar. The menu is not very large in terms of both selection and format. The most important thing: three T-bone steaks of different origins for 8EUR/100g, which I don't think is exorbitant. You can choose bottled wine directly from the shelf, which I think is very good; I always prefer the tactile experience of a bottle to a wine list. Prices around 30-40EUR. The next positive experience. When I was choosing the wine, I discovered the highlight: the steaks (and fish) are prepared on an open fire. The only point of criticism: the side vegetables came a little too early and were therefore only lukewarm when the steak arrived. There was a large selection of desserts, tiramisu is always good and the crème brûlée came to the table scorching, espresso was excellent as it is almost everywhere in Italy. The conclusion was a nice chat with the boss (thanks again for the cake and grappa!) What can I say, completely satisfied and I wish we had discovered the place earlier. In summer I would definitely recommend booking a few days in advance.

12/05/2024: Very good food. The raw appetizers were exquisite. Afterwards we had the marinara risotto for two which was not very filling. The staff is a little slow. We solicited 3 different waiters towards the end for dessert and the bill. Honest prices.

01/05/2024: The platter of Friulian cured meats and the classic frico are excellent. Too bad about the tagliatelle with raw ham: good flavor but overcooked and excessively salty. Both the grilled Montasio and the sausages are tasty. Excellent polenta and homemade bread. Good supply of wines and beers. The desserts were also a pleasant surprise (strawberry tiramisu, 3 chocolate cake, pistachio cheesecake.

16/04/2024: Nice place in the center of Udine, excellent both for a meal and for a moment of relaxation drinking excellent wine and delicious "cicchetti"

12/05/2024: It was 9.45pm and we arrived at the Alla Pace restaurant by chance after a complete disappointment from a place at the beginning of the avenue. There were 12 of us, without a reservation and very hungry. The staff, very kind and friendly, did not bat an eyelid, welcomed us and in less than 5 minutes prepared a table for us in the center of the external veranda. Some of us had a first course, some a second course, some even a pizza and we were all totally satisfied with both the portions and the quality of the dish! The waiter who followed us recommended an excellent wine to pair with the dishes. At the end of the dinner, after discovering that it was for a birthday, the staff came out with a confetti shooter to celebrate with us! Pampering, friendly and with an excellent menu choice! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

03/03/2024: Very pleasant looking restaurant. Young staff, refined dishes. The attempt to provide attentive service and a refined menu (but not sophisticated, therefore suitable for everyone) is appreciable, even if this effort leads to highlighting some shortcomings. However to be rewarded; correct quality/price ratio. To follow.

01/05/2024: The best bar in Trieste, food is delicious, the crew is fantastic. You won’t taste and feel the real Trieste if you don’t come here.
