07/04/2024: I had booked a table for 1pm.
We arrived slightly early as it was raining.
We didn't get off to a great start...when we entered they snubbed us a bit, but once we were seated, everything changed. It feels like we've gone back in time. Courteous staff, good food, not a cheap place.
We took 2 typical local soups, 1 bottle of water, a rather small glass of wine and 2 coffees.
06/04/2024: We didn't eat here. It reminded me of the bar in Cézanne's famous painting. Fabulous atmosphere. Also houses a book shop.

It is known that in the main square the places can have higher prices, but if commensurate with the quality it can also make sense and instead.... Brioche as bad as ginseng.
But even worse was the service, they forgot part of the breakfast and while we had finished the coffee the rest had not yet arrived, despite reminders. A tourist trap.
06/04/2024: Super environment. It is located in one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. The big problem is the service. Unqualified waiters. Slow service. They throw the glasses of water on the table as if we were in any tavern. It should be a prestigious café (and it was), but the good times are gone. Now the only thing that is prestigious is the prices. Never again.

06/04/2024: It was a place where Italians go, the hotel staff recommended it, but it was too crowded, sloppy service and the pizzas were very ordinary. I have eaten much better ones in Turkey.

07/04/2024: We came to a lively inn for lunch. A lot of waiters and cooks were employed, so we were served quickly. When I asked if it was cooked with meat, I was assured that it was not. As soon as the waiter brought the food, a piece of meat floated inside. They apologized and did not charge for these meals, but still left a bad aftertaste. She wouldn't come back because they were cheating.
03/04/2024: If you want to eat good Trieste boiled meat you can't miss coming here! In the center of Trieste you can eat inside or at outdoor tables. Very fast service and quality meat. Courteous and accommodating staff. Very good price.

07/04/2024: The waiter at 10.45 said that the cafe opens at 11.00, but when there was an order for food, it was not accepted, they offered drinks, after 45 minutes at 11.30, they said that the kitchen is open from 12.00. This is an undisguised trick to lure customers.

07/04/2024: I continue to give five stars because the service is excellent and the food is excellent, however there was a huge problem in my opinion. the dish that I have been eating since the restaurant opened, namely the Roman carbonara with fresh pasta, has been changed, the fresh pasta is no longer the same and the crispy bacon is no longer crunchy. allow me this little note. I will also try it a second time and I hope it comes back like the classic one from last year. Congratulations guys keep it up thanks
