02/04/2024: Really good aesthetic impact, central in a pedestrian area. Of the 6 dishes we ate, none satisfied our tastes. Bad luck or inadequacy? I don't know, the fact is that the scallop wasn't seen nor the sea cicada... maybe they were blended but do you know? We were hoping for sweets but they lacked balance. If you present me a dish in such an elaborate way I expect particular and successful combinations but (again in our opinion) this was not the case.

21/03/2024: Came by chance to this place in a secluded historic corner of Trieste, very elegant and refined interior environment. Service prepared in impeccable service, dishes to taste with food cooked with great professionalism , you can see that this place by looking at the service and the placing of the dishes on the table with great elegance. Very varied starters with excellent combinations from mackerel to sea bass fillet or cod. I ate a second course of very fresh octopus cooked on the grill combined with porcini mushrooms with a pumpkin base. I must compliment it, it was excellent, perfectly cooked, being a modest taster traveling around Italy. I must say excellent wine cellar, both domestic and foreign from the best wineries or brands. Price for what we ate and drank was fair Highly recommended

06/04/2024: It's been our go-to pizzeria for years. The quality is always excellent and the choice very varied. The restaurant also has a wide choice, both meat and fish. A fridge dedicated to meat, visible, and a large grill that is always lit complete the offer. The drinks are also good, where nothing is missing. We return and we will return.

24/03/2024: Was very Happy me and my husband to find this lovely restaurant. The food was amazing, super good and calm atmosphere. We enjoyed the wonderful view while waiting for our food. It was worth the wait never had an amazing pasta dish like this one and the meat was so tasty and juicy. I highly recommend this restaurant, the staff are nice and polite. Will definitely become our go to spot as long as we are around here.

31/03/2024: We called to book for Easter and on the phone we were NOT told that there would be no pizza and that the menu would be a dedicated one. We arrive and find out at the moment, okay, no big deal, we'll adapt. Reading the menu, however, I see that there was nothing I liked about the second course since I don't eat fish and I don't like lamb, they told me that there was only the possibility of possibly having the schnitzel but ONLY for children... I point out that there was nothing else that I liked and that therefore I would have liked to have the schnitzel, the lady, annoyed, passes it off to me as if it were a huge favor. In short, we are not there. We don't talk about the service, it was distracted and very slow, I finished eating the second one when my dad had yet to receive the first one! My partner ordered a coffee which never arrived. For me it's a huge NO, both for the food which was nothing special anyway, but also for the service, which was very poor!

30/03/2024: Osteria where you can taste local delicacies, cooked with masterly simplicity. Family run, a typical place to meet friends and relatives to pleasantly spend time together. We ate the ravioli and gnocchi as a first course and the cod encore as a second course and we were happy with our choices. Next time I will be able to tell you more.

21/03/2024: Despite myself, I have to give a negative rating to this place due to the recent experience when booking for Easter lunch. My sister made a reservation well in advance at this place for six people. At the time of booking we were not provided with the menu, we were only given an indication of the price (60-70 euros) because they did not yet know what type of fish would be offered. A few days ago she was contacted by telephone where the planned menu for the Easter lunch was provided which consisted of: appetizers: seafood salad and scallop cream soup; first courses: ravioli stuffed with asparagus with mazancolle ragù, sorbet, second course: sea bass fillet with baked potatoes, dessert, water, house wine and coffee. Cost 70 euros. I consider what is proposed not to be up to par with a place that I have already had the opportunity to evaluate in the past for its food specialty. The lack of an entree with a welcome glass and a small taster would have been a good start to the lunch, the starter limited to two courses without a pairing of some au gratin, only a first and a second course and with a cost that falls within a range medium high. As already mentioned, my family and I, despite ourselves, gave up visiting the place.
