07/01/2026: Good food but terrible service. There was a child acting crazy in the restaurant running around knocking tables and chairs over, crying yelling and growling at other staff. No one really stopped nor apologized to us when we were just trying to eat. It was so stressful to have to endure this and even though the food was good we will never be back. It is one thing to be noisy in a restaurant and another to ignite anxiety throughout one’s meal. Never again.

28/12/2025: We visited here during our last night in Capri on our honeymoon. We were the only people seated right after opening, and the owner came by and asked us about the occasion. He gave us lovely wine and food recommendations, brought us some extra small drinks to celebrate, and sat to talk with us before we left. I had the seafood risotto, my wife had the seafood 'stew' and both were incredible! I would highly recommend this for an evening out in Capri!

04/11/2025: 5/5 stars! We visited this charming tavern and received a warm welcome from the friendly owner. The food was absolutely delicious, and the variety was fantastic! I especially want to highlight the homemade dessert – the panna cotta with caramel and blueberries was simply divine! My wife ate two slices. The limoncello was also homemade and absolutely delicious. We would love to come back, but unfortunately, it was the last day before their winter break. Nevertheless, everything was fresh, and the prices were, of course, typical for Capri – not cheap, but worth every penny. If you're looking for more affordable options, you might be better off going to Mallorca.

07/03/2026: My sister and I had lunch at this restaurant, and right from the start, we found the atmosphere very welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. The food was truly excellent, from appetizers to desserts, with special attention paid to gluten-free options, which we greatly appreciated. Furthermore, the helpful staff and the humor of waiter Lucio made the lunch even more enjoyable and fun. We highly recommend it!

18/02/2026: We went there for Valentine's Day dinner with a reservation. Both a fixed menu and à la carte options are available. A wide variety of both seafood and meat dishes. Everything was truly delicious. The staff were kind and attentive, and since I'm celiac, that goes double. The menu was the same for us and just as good. We'll definitely be back.

22/03/2026: Last night, we had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, choosing the "Memories" menu, a tasting menu designed as a journey through the chef's most iconic and significant dishes, illustrating his evolution, philosophy, and gastronomic identity. A refined gastronomic experience, combining technique, balance, and top-notch service. Upon arrival, the welcome snack elegantly introduces the experience, preparing the palate for a cuisine that plays on contrasts and carefully crafted harmonies. Making the wait between courses even more enjoyable are the truly excellent bread and brioche served alongside: warm, fragrant, with a soft texture and an enveloping aroma, a sign of great attention to even the most seemingly simple details. The first course, spaghetti with clams, smoked butter, pine nuts, and lemon, is undoubtedly one of the highlights: enveloping creaminess, perfectly balanced smoky notes, and a citrusy freshness that gives the dish momentum without overpowering it. The chicken with king oyster mushrooms is also very convincing, surprising for its balance and depth of flavor, with precise cooking and a vegetal component that enhances the ingredients without weighing them down. The sweet dish is cleverly constructed: the pre-dessert lightly accompanies the finish, while the chocolate and chicory finish on an elegant and slightly bitter note, never dull. The small pastries round out the experience with care and consistency. The only less convincing note for my tastes and those of my companion was the zucchini, cashew, avocado, and citron dish: interesting on paper, but less successful in the mouth. The texture didn't convince me, and the flavor leaned excessively toward bitterness, with elements that struggled to harmoniously communicate with each other. The ambience is meticulously crafted, quiet, and extremely pleasant, with particularly comfortable seating that allows you to fully relax and enjoy the experience. The service is impeccable, attentive, discreet, and perfectly timed with the kitchen's pace, contributing significantly to the overall high-quality experience. In short, a luxury restaurant offering solid, well-executed contemporary cuisine, with some room for improvement but already a clear and compelling identity.

The side dishes are reminiscent of those you'd eat at an old friend's house... A special mention for the pizza!!! Peppe is fantastic! The prices are truly ridiculous! 100% recommended!

06/01/2026: My family and I had seen this place in passing every day on the way out of Porto when we caught the various busses to travel around the island. It fronts onto the busy road so is obviously very busy during the day. Do not, repeat NOT be put off by the location of this place, it is a fantastic little grill and the food is amazing and easy on the wallet. We had kebabs, chicken, fish, pizza, good God, so much really, really tasty food. Good service and friendly staff, what looks like a busy road side venue during the day turns into a great place to sit, relax and watch as people turn up to collect take away food. We didn't actually think we'd ordered that much, but had to take some home with us as we couldn't bear to leave it!!! To sum up, we spent a week on Ischia and dined all over the island, I can honestly say Antico Girarrosto Ischitano was by far the best place we had the pleasure to visit. Saluti Antico Girarrosto Ischitano!!!

04/10/2025: Fantastic 😊 My Italian in-laws from Naples were absolutely blown away by the Spigiola and Pasta Vongole. My Pasta Genovese was also absolutely fantastic, and the ambiance right on the beach was fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

16/09/2025: What a wonderful experience we had at this family run business, Bagno Dai Tu. The setting is breathtaking, with a restaurant and view that are truly stunning. The staff were warm and welcoming, and every dish was absolutely delicious.

19/10/2025: I visited in October with my wife and one-year-old son. The service was professional and friendly, and they cooked my son the pasta we had brought from home. We had the gnocchi alla sorrentina, a pizza, and slow-cooked chicken. Everything was delicious, in a relaxing atmosphere right in the center of Sorrento. Highly recommended!

07/03/2026: So let’s see, Pizza was absolutely below mediocre, like literally nothing but a tasteless dough with sausage and cheese, uncooked at a different places, with total 3 places showing ground sausage, on top of that you charge 3 euros for water and which no one else charged, then on top of it surcharge for eating in an empty restaurant.. No one should eat here ever again.

30/01/2026: We were satisfied after visiting Meating Sorrento on our last trip here. Now we ate some other dishes and everything was just as good - Food, drinks and service were without complaints. Large portions so you almost roll out of the restaurant afterwards. Spotlessly clean and perfect!

13/03/2026: Cool temperature and cool vibes,especially in warmer months. Fantastic cocktails and staff, music and fresh complementary regionally fresh olives just make it that much better. Enjoyed the place so much, I Visited it twice while in Sorento in September 2024. Even bought a Shub t shirt of the back of one of the staff🥃

26/12/2025: Very nice place, with a great view, and good food. It's a shame the owner is a rascal. Last New Year's Eve, he emailed us a quote for New Year's Eve, which didn't match the price he actually charged us—DOUBLE the price. He didn't even apologize for the mistake, blaming his young employee, oblivious to the fact that, as the owner, he should be responsible for everything. People like that are only to be pitied, poor things!

16/12/2025: I think it's fair to say that this pizzeria/restaurant is a must-visit for Ischia residents. The place is simple and welcoming, and the staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The fried foods are delicious, the pizza is good, and the meat is excellent. Fair prices.
