18/04/2026: Absolutely terrible service. I wanted to have pizza with my husband, but I ate alone because my husband's pizza was wrong twice in a row. The non-EU waiter didn't even understand the correction we explained to him precisely. It's true that they didn't charge it, but my husband was left hungry and the evening was ruined. We won't be returning.

07/06/2026: Very elegant place, qualified staff, well-decorated food, but personally, with little seasoning and a meager portion. I spent €100 for two people, which seemed excessive for what I ate, especially for the taste and quantity. I can make this comparison because I frequent other restaurants comparable to Maroder, and I've eaten much better in other places for the same price. My review is intended to be constructive towards the owner, because he has a beautiful place that can offer more and provide a better experience for customers, for a clientele that spends because here they spend! In the end, you offer a beautiful place with a warm welcome, but the customer wants to eat and not feast! Also because, I repeat, I paid. An appetizer with two trivialities was €16, a pasta dish was €18, a practically white risotto was €16, and then drinks with a cover charge and a measly dessert was €7. So, I pay, but I don't want to feel like I'm being pushed around! Then the waiter, as soon as he sees that you have finished your meal, makes you nervous, either you order or you leave, and the place was half empty. 😐

06/07/2026: 5 stars all around! These people know what they're doing from the moment you walk through the door until you leave you are getting excellent service, excellent food at amazingly reasonable prices. It was so good we went back twice after the first visit.

15/06/2026: Highly recommended, it has private parking as soon as you arrive. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent and tasty. The bucatini with rabbit sauce is delicious.

29/07/2026: Absolutely delicious! The local wine is available by the bottle for only €5, which is fantastic. I didn't experience any of the safety or service concerns mentioned in other reviews. A fantastic location with fantastic staff – definitely 5 stars!

19/07/2026: It's probably the fifth place I visit in Napoli. I've been to high end places. This is not the place for you if you seek posh. This is local. People enjoying good food and community they know. Great food. Much cheaper than tourist traps. The best caponata! Thank you for tolerating my Italian!

18/07/2026: We celebrated my daughter's graduation yesterday. It was a fantastic experience. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail. The wait staff was helpful and professional. The DJ and speakers were engaging and empathetic, and the video and photography staff were highly skilled. The food was excellent. A special thanks to Mrs. Paola, always kind and attentive. We felt welcomed into family, not just a bar!

12/07/2026: Six years ago, we celebrated my daughter's baptism at the Giardini Kaimé and had a wonderful time. Today (July 11), we celebrated my eldest daughter's first communion, and the venue is even more beautiful: renovated, meticulously maintained, and surrounded by lush greenery. The food is delicious, and the staff is exceptional, especially Paola, a wonderful and incredibly kind person who accommodated my every request. Highly recommended for any event!

20/05/2026: We had a reservation, but it meant absolutely nothing to the waiter. He was rude, dismissive, and tried to seat us wherever he felt like it. The service was unacceptable - he threw the menus on the table and dropped each dish down without a word, like we were an inconvenience. The food was even worse. The fried appetizers were greasy and soggy, completely soaked in oil. The pizza was made with low-quality ingredients and had nothing to do with authentic Neapolitan cuisine. Avoid this place. Terrible service and poor food don’t deserve your time or money.

06/08/2026: The food was excellent, but I truly believe it was the worst service we've ever had. This is due to the lack of follow-up and attention from the staff. They literally rushed us out to free up the table. What a waste of such a high-quality meal to have it ruined by not treating the customer properly.

05/08/2026: Full marks for the location; it's unbeatable. The restaurant's history is equally impressive. However, anyone expecting a culinary delight will be sorely disappointed. Never make the mistake of ordering a steak here. It was simply inedible.

24/07/2026: Apart from the stunning sea view, the dishes are exceptional, especially the Bucatino with rabbit, which deserves a 10/10 rating.

21/07/2026: I came here to eat good seafood and enjoy the spectacular view. The food wasn't bad, but I wasn't assigned a table with a view, even though I requested one. I was told those tables were all booked, yet they remained empty for the entire dinner, which was really annoying. Furthermore, the menu is only accessible via smartphone, and I had no internet connection. I asked the waitress how I could choose, and her response was, essentially, that it wasn't her problem. In the end, I had to ask for the Wi-Fi password just to consult the menu.

19/07/2026: I was at a ceremony, dirty, hair everywhere, from the sofas to the tablecloths, scarce and badly cooked food, very little therefore limited, in fact I couldn't even taste the fruit, air conditioning that was almost not noticeable, in the corridors it was non-existent. The condensation from the air conditioning was dripping, they put a little seat to prevent people from putting their feet (since it was the point where they were dancing) at the exit of the ceremony to finish a mouse ran in front of us. I don't give zero stars because it doesn't give me the chance.

19/07/2026: The view is the highlight, the service is all very friendly, but what leaves something to be desired is the food: small portions, well-presented, but not very seasoned. Let's just say that for a birthday party I attended, I expected much more. It's fine for those on a diet. The fried fish, if you can call it that, has three rings and three shrimp per portion.

30/06/2026: A terrible experience. I went to dinner with a group of friends, 40 of us, adults and children. We had made reservations a week in advance, with precise instructions on the tables, specifying our intolerances. We were assured of lactose-free mozzarella. Aside from having three tables instead of two, one for adults and one for children, there was no mozzarella as requested. The quality of the pizza was terrible, and the staff was inadequate and rude. Unfortunately, dear lady, apologies aren't enough. You're a historic pizzeria, and if you can't accommodate those with intolerances, you should no longer accept reservations. Furthermore, you should be well-informed about intolerances, a matter the pizzeria is completely unaware of. Never again!

25/05/2026: Half a roasted chicken, crispy potato wedges, salad and house wine, served instantly, with a smile. Packed to the gunnels on a Sunday evening with local familes. A lifesaver after so much pasta and seafood.

03/06/2026: We were in Ischia over the June 2nd long weekend, and after several disappointing lunch and dinner experiences at other restaurants, we stumbled upon La Ruota, where we had an excellent experience: the welcome, friendliness, quality, service, and variety of dishes... what more can I say? Lunch at La Ruota was a complete surprise. We ate wonderfully and were pampered by Marcella, who delighted us. The zucchini and mussels specialties are a must-try, a superb combination of ingredients and quality.
