19/08/2025: I went to dinner with my girlfriend and her family at "Da Umberto." It all happened by chance. We ordered two Cokes, two waters, and half a bottle of Ischia white wine. For appetizers, we had fried shrimp and calamari and vegetarian bruschetta. Both served just enough for five people. The fried sea bream was crispy, and you could tell it was fresh. We then ordered spaghetti with clams, deliciously spicy just right, with parsley and a generous amount of clams. A very light and fluffy pizza. Last but not least, three bucatini pasta with mussels and pecorino cheese, which I've always been reluctant to try. For the first time, I wanted to try this typical Neapolitan recipe. I made the decision after reading the reviews, and to this day, I don't think I'll ever try this dish anywhere else because I'll never find anything this good! Huge and delicious mussels with an intense flavor, perfectly cooked bucatini, and just the right amount of pecorino cheese that made everything perfectly balanced. The staff was superb, both in the dining room and the kitchen, as everything arrived on time. They also gave us tips on how to visit the beautiful places on Ischia. I'd add that I'm from the South and now live in the North, but when I find myself in places like this, I know how much potential there is in our region. Thanks for everything, I'd go back any day for my first cozze e pepe.

02/03/2025: Sono stata in questa famossima pizzeria, nota soprattutto per il suo Panuozzo, definito il più buono di Gragnano, venerdì 28 febbraio. È stata la prima volta che mangiavo questa specialità. Eravamo in due, avevamo provato a chiamare per poter prenotare 2 posti ma purtroppo la linea risultava sempre occupata e comunque abbiamo scoperto che il weekend non accettano prenotazioni per la grande folla. Arrivati verso le 21 e qualcosa, sapevo già che ci sarebbe stata attesa, infatti c'erano tantissime persone ad attendere. Abbiamo lasciato il nome, ricevendo in risposta che ci sarebbe stata un attesa di 30 minuti. Non sono stati 30 minuti ma un oretta, penso che comunque in un locale con così tanta fama e gente di venerdì sera, sia più che accettabile. Siamo stati fatti accomodare e abbiamo ordinato un panuozzo metà gusto ortolana e metà gusto tarantella. L'attesa per il panuozzo è stata poca, siamo stati serviti quasi subito. E che dire?!? L'attesa ne è valsa veramente la pena. Non ho mai mangiato un Panuozzo così buono, proprio l'impasto era straordinario: croccante, saporito, cotto alla perfezione e super farcito. La dimensione del panuozzo poi? Veramente esagerata. Se siete in due, vi consiglio di ordinarne uno che sarà poi diviso in 4 parti, 2 parti ciascuno. Ogni parte è veramente grande. E poi il ripieno? Non ho mai visto così tanta farcitura. Tutti e due i gusti sono stati buonissimi, non ci sono parole per descrivere la bontà ma il gusto tarantella con salame, funghi, carciofi, mozzarella, olive nere aveva una marcia in più. Anche il gusto ortolana con friarielli, melenzane, peperoni, zucchine era buonissimo ma ci ha conquistato l'altro gusto. In due abbiamo speso 25 euro, 2 euro per l'acqua minerale, 2 euro per l'acqua naturale, il coperto più un limoncello. Un prezzo più che accettabile per un prodotto di altissima qualità. Siamo rimasti troppo soddisfatti e felici, un Panuozzo veramente eccezionale. Spero di ritornarci prima o poi per assaggiare qualche altro gusto.

14/08/2025: We arrived at 1:00 PM. We pulled over to enter the parking lot because we wanted to eat at the restaurant and spend a half day at the beach, but the parking guy wouldn't let us in. He told us the parking was for the lido, to which we replied, "Yes, we want to go to the lido on Saturday." He told us he didn't have any space, which was understandable at a certain time, so no problem. We were about to leave and two cars pulled out of the parking lot. So we tried again and were yelled at, "Don't have a parking spot!" "I don't care" and he closes the gray gate halfway in our faces. Shocked by the unjustified way we were treated, we backed up and at the same moment two cars arrived. The "gentleman" let them in without even asking if they had booked, he just let them in!!! At which point we looked at him from the car and he closed the gate in our faces. They weren't staff cars entering; we clearly saw people dressed up for the beach. Parking is your calling card for those who don't know you. I strongly recommend hiring qualified staff who can at least speak Italian. Also, if you wanted to try to recruit, try hiring people with a certain composure and presence, not a "gentleman," if that's what he can be called based on his way of treating potential customers, a middle-aged man in a dirty white tank top and a visible belly. We are two different people; we've never been treated like dirt for no reason. We can't express an opinion on the beach services; unfortunately, we had to take our money elsewhere. I would also like to remind everyone that we don't We're in Capri (and even there they've never treated us with this arrogance and condescension) so maybe leave the snobbishness at home and don't take it to work.

09/08/2025: I was there on Monday, August 26th. The beach was not crowded, with limited space for both deck chairs and umbrellas. This isn't a problem because it's quiet and there's no chaos. (A sunbed costs €10.) The owner is kind and friendly, allowing families and quiet people access, not rowdy kids. Bringing food or coolers from home is allowed (note: coolers are allowed, but rigid coolers are NOT). The restaurant area is well-maintained, clean, and reasonably priced. A grilled sandwich costs €7, penne pasta €5, and chips €5. There's a relaxation area with sofas, perfect for relaxing in the shade after eating. There's a shower, but I found the hot one to be out of order. There's covered, secure parking right in front of the beach (€10). The sea has a sandy bottom, and is fairly clear. Definitely recommended. Edit After a week...hot shower fixed

01/06/2025: Hemos estado regresando a este restaurante durante 6 años, la comida es increíble. Beppe es un anfitrión fantástico, muy profesional como todo el personal. Está muy bien situado con vistas impresionantes. Es uno de los favoritos para la gente local, lo que siempre es una buena señal. Nos presentaron este restaurante y Beppe hace años por nuestro buen amigo Luigi y nos reunimos con él y otros amigos cada vez que volvemos a Seiano. No te decepcionará si visitas este lugar, es uno de los mejores! También prueba su Limoncello casero, es precioso 🥂. Gracias Beppe, nos vemos pronto. Stephen y Julie.

29/06/2025: Una delle pizze pizze più buone che abbiamo mai mangiato ! Anche i fritti che abbiamo preso come antipasti erano veramente buoni ! Personale attento e gentilissimo! Locale molto alla mano con tovagliette e posateria usa e getta.

11/06/2025: Un locale piacevole con ampio bancone molto assortito fra fritture e sfizi vari vi è pure una sala con tavoli tavolini con sgabelli Vi è la possibilità sia del asporto che il consumo al tavolo Abbiamo trovato varie tipologie di pizze per tutti i gusti buona la pizza fritta Cosa non ultima prezzi molto convenienti

20/07/2025: Siamo stati al Ristorante Da Filippo in occasione di una cena. Posto leggermente affollato ma personale efficiente nei tempi di attesa. Abbiamo ordinato un primo piatto, due tagliate di carne e un dolce. Prezzi modici per la qualità del posto e del cibo, inoltre le porzioni erano adeguate ne abbondanti né insufficienti. Che dir si voglia, ma non che non abbia rispettato le nostre aspettative. Citando un noto poeta: “fu tzoppu beddu stu manciari sangò”.

21/06/2025: Recommended by a friend, we tried the fish tasting as an appetizer: definitely excellent. The hostess was kind and attentive. Salvatore and Gladis (hoping it's written like that) were very kind and ready to satisfy the customer's requests.. absolutely pleasant babà. I give 4 stars only because, due to the appetizer (abundant) we didn't try the first courses. But we will return! Highly recommended

02/05/2025: Pasamos una semana en la costa de Amalfi. La comida y el servicio en Savo era increíble. Un montón de trampas turísticas y ofertas pobres en Amalfi y especialmente en Positano. Esta pequeña ciudad de Atrani tenía dos de los mejores restaurantes de la costa amalfitana y yo pondría a Savo en contra de cualquier restaurante en el que haya estado. Pasta fresca, tomates increíbles, pasta de limón era increíble. Pedí una recomendación y Elia sugirió la pasta de calabacín, que era uno de los artículos más baratos del menú. ¿Dónde hacen eso? Tenía razón y puede que haya sido uno de los mejores platos de pasta que he probado. Carla y Elia te hacen sentir como en familia y eso es muy raro hoy en día. ¡Todo alrededor de 5 estrellas! Daría 6 si pudiera
