28/10/2025: I was staying at an AirBnB nearby. On my first night in Naples, I walked by this unassuming restaurant. What caught my eyes were the picture of their Zuppa di cozze alla Napoletana. I decided to drop by the next night for dinner. I started off with the zuppa di cozze follow by a fresh pasta dish with octopus. Holy smoke, the zuppa was a full meal. It came out in a giant bowl loaded with mussels, clams, shrimps, and octopus. Under the seafood was 2 pieces of bread that soaked up the soup. All of this for 13 euro. I was full by the time that I finished the zuppa. I decided to have my pasta to go because I would not be able to make a dent on the pasta. The service was fantastic. I was lucky that night, there was a guy playing the guitar. He was AWESOME!!!!!

15/10/2025: The food was delicious!! The first waitress was very kind and fun, but she still had a lot to learn. The head waitress was fantastic!!! And she really knew her job!! She even helped us with excursions. The meat was perfect, and the baba was delicious!!

14/10/2025: Antonio & his staff run an exceptional hotel. They accommodated a room change, scheduled a walking tour that with Angelina that was top notch, and enjoyed the restaurants for breakfast. We also misplaced a painting that Antonio found & shipped back to USA. Highly recommend Avino as destination at Ravello.

02/03/2025: Sono stata in questa famossima pizzeria, nota soprattutto per il suo Panuozzo, definito il più buono di Gragnano, venerdì 28 febbraio. È stata la prima volta che mangiavo questa specialità. Eravamo in due, avevamo provato a chiamare per poter prenotare 2 posti ma purtroppo la linea risultava sempre occupata e comunque abbiamo scoperto che il weekend non accettano prenotazioni per la grande folla. Arrivati verso le 21 e qualcosa, sapevo già che ci sarebbe stata attesa, infatti c'erano tantissime persone ad attendere. Abbiamo lasciato il nome, ricevendo in risposta che ci sarebbe stata un attesa di 30 minuti. Non sono stati 30 minuti ma un oretta, penso che comunque in un locale con così tanta fama e gente di venerdì sera, sia più che accettabile. Siamo stati fatti accomodare e abbiamo ordinato un panuozzo metà gusto ortolana e metà gusto tarantella. L'attesa per il panuozzo è stata poca, siamo stati serviti quasi subito. E che dire?!? L'attesa ne è valsa veramente la pena. Non ho mai mangiato un Panuozzo così buono, proprio l'impasto era straordinario: croccante, saporito, cotto alla perfezione e super farcito. La dimensione del panuozzo poi? Veramente esagerata. Se siete in due, vi consiglio di ordinarne uno che sarà poi diviso in 4 parti, 2 parti ciascuno. Ogni parte è veramente grande. E poi il ripieno? Non ho mai visto così tanta farcitura. Tutti e due i gusti sono stati buonissimi, non ci sono parole per descrivere la bontà ma il gusto tarantella con salame, funghi, carciofi, mozzarella, olive nere aveva una marcia in più. Anche il gusto ortolana con friarielli, melenzane, peperoni, zucchine era buonissimo ma ci ha conquistato l'altro gusto. In due abbiamo speso 25 euro, 2 euro per l'acqua minerale, 2 euro per l'acqua naturale, il coperto più un limoncello. Un prezzo più che accettabile per un prodotto di altissima qualità. Siamo rimasti troppo soddisfatti e felici, un Panuozzo veramente eccezionale. Spero di ritornarci prima o poi per assaggiare qualche altro gusto.

10/11/2025: A lovely pizzeria restaurant in the historic center of Naples. The place is new and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly, if a bit distracted/insufficient. Prices are a bit high, but in line with the area. The food is excellent and plentiful. I'd only reconsider the price of the platter, which at €30 is a bit high.

28/10/2025: The atmosphere was not as good as we thought. Be prepared for fast service and extra costs at this restaurant. They seem to have it as a thing here. It will be unnecessarily expensive unfortunately 😰

25/10/2025: OK, so not cheap BUT incredibly delicious food, great service and in a setting that is unquestionably special.

14/09/2025: Good quality products. Fried food was good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Wagon Wheel pizza was excellent, and the traditional Margherita was good. The potatoes and sausage were good. The Catalan seafood paella was good, but not as excellent as I expected. Maybe next time. The staff was very kind and attentive to their customers' needs.

02/11/2025: A charming place... and knowledgeable staff, skilled at suggesting what to try. Unfortunately, aside from the meat (good and high-quality), everything else was mediocre... The appetizers featured some winning combinations, but the ingredients weren't up to par (rubbery mozzarella). The first course had too many spices and parsley, obscuring the true flavor of the dish, and a thin layer of lard on top that hadn't even melted (lardiata). In short, many dishes were well thought out, but executed a bit sloppily and with ingredients that weren't up to par. It could definitely improve.

19/10/2025: A terrible experience, not to be repeated. We arrived around 2:00 PM and, truth be told, we were greeted with a glass of rosé and a small portion of potato chips. Naturally, they told us to wait a bit since we hadn't booked, rightfully so. After about 30 minutes, they seated us outside, but in full sunlight. We were served a welcome portion of tripe and lupini beans ("just the right amount of calloused"). Since it was a particularly sunny day, we asked to move to a more shaded area, and so far so good (they finally moved us into the shade). From this point on, they started to lose points: we asked for a Nerano and it wasn't available, and a bottle of Lacryma Christi, also on the menu, wasn't available either. Between one zeppolina and the next, flies reigned supreme. After one appetizer each, a good two hours passed, so I decided to ask for the bill, since there wasn't even a hint of a starter. At this point, when I asked for the bill, the waitress asked if the starters had arrived. When I denied it, the waitress replied that they were about to "come out." Well, we waited another two or three minutes, and finally the first courses came out. Oh no, it was too good to be true... Only one first course arrived (pappardelle with mushrooms). We had to wait another ten minutes for the other (a Genovese). The pappardelle were generally good and blended well with the sauce, but the Genovese had some of the meat stolen on the way. I asked for the bill again, and at least they were quick about that. To try to make up for the poor impression, they offered us a taste of the Caprese salad. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible given the truly infernal wait times. A real shame, because the products used aren't bad, but the kitchen's time management was terrible. Customers like this go elsewhere. Best regards. P.S. Action needs to be taken regarding the really persistent flies outside.

16/08/2025: The food was very tasty, the service was normal, but the whole impression was spoiled by the included 10 euros for napkins and knives. At the same time, the bill includes a 10% tip

19/08/2025: This is now a bar frequented by gentlemen from 5am to 9pm and by young people the rest of the time 😂. It's a nice place with a variety of products.

26/07/2025: Siamo stati a cena al ristorante San Vincenzo di Gesualdo. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo la qualità del buon cibo genuino e la squisita ospitalità della signora Fernanda. La pizza ci ha davvero meravigliato per l’impasto soffice e la bontà degli ingredienti. Un’esperienza da ripetere. Torneremo senz’altro Mario ed Elisa

10/09/2025: We had the steak (medium-rare), mixed salad, and French fries. The steak was fantastic. Unfortunately, there was no salt or pepper on the table to season the meat or salad. Highly recommended; we'll be back.

08/09/2025: A very welcoming restaurant in the main square, with very friendly staff and excellent service. Delicious food made with fresh ingredients and home-made wine. Breathtaking views from inside.

22/09/2025: I've been here several times (especially for aperitivo). The location overlooking the sea is charming, and it's truly stunning at sunset. 👍 The outdoor seating near the gardens is less well-maintained and a bit uncomfortable. 👎 Aperitivo for all tastes, with delicious seafood platters and local produce, all of which are of very good quality👍 (sometimes some seemed reheated🫤). The restaurant is simple, the pizza is good, and the quality/quantity/price ratio is good too. The staff is very young and friendly, but on busy evenings they struggle; the wait times are quite long even just to order a drink👎, but perhaps they could use more waiters. Overall, 8.5

04/09/2025: This is a must go to Ristorante when in Sorrento. Incredible food, friendly and accommodating staff. The owner even made a special dish for my wife and the sunset over the Bay of Napoli was so beautiful.

20/08/2025: I recommend it. Everything was perfect, kudos to the cleaning lady, as rooms this clean and tidy are hard to come by. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, which was plentiful, but the food I don't like.
