30/11/2024: Stay away from this place during winter. They have no chefs so anything can happen. The ”Vitello tonnato” was a joke and the pastas were almost unedible. The owner seemed well aware of this and reduced the price but it was still too high considering what we got. We will not come back.

17/11/2024: I went there because it was the only restaurant on the island where I could eat hot food. I was looking forward to it because it was a one-time luxury during my trip, but it was a failure. Everything is way too expensive. However, it wasn't that tasty. The prosciutto appetizer tasted ordinary, The seafood pasta tasted fishy. (There was no shrimp in the photo of another user) The customer service was friendly, but there were some things I was a little concerned about. I was the only customer in the store, and YouTube was playing inside the store for the children of the owner's family. (I thought of that favorably) However, when regular customers came later, The store owner turned off YouTube, turned on the store's decorative lights, and played background music. Before I knew it, the children had disappeared. Maybe it was just good timing for the kids, or maybe I was ignored because I was a tourist... I was a little concerned. Anyway, I had a hard time imagining that there would be so few options for Sunday dinner in the off-season in Capri.

10/12/2024: I went to dinner and the room where we were seated was cold. They turned on the heating when we arrived. I ordered grilled squid which, in addition to being very hard, had a chemical taste as did the grilled courgettes. Let me start by saying that I had asked for the mushrooms to pretend that they were finished. The owner recommended some mushrooms and shortly after told me that they were finished. Two orders did not arrive. The wine was very expensive, the same wine in another restaurant was paid half. Absolutely not recommended I would add that the owner responded to my review saying that I was wrong to review the place as they don't serve courgettes and mushrooms. Absurdity, they served us 2 grilled courgettes and 1 scapece. Some squid that tasted chemical?? It was perhaps better to apologize for what happened.....

30/11/2024: Trattoria at my house....but I eat much better at home!!! Terrible service, inexperienced staff. Starter non-existent and cold, we asked for the wine and the bottle arrived already open, absurd!!! And so much more, I'll just say this. Very disappointing.

14/10/2024: We had the best experience staying at Giardini Calce! Tania and her team were so helpful even in the weeks leading up to our trip. Their proactive communication was so helpful in preparing our travel upon arrival. While we were there, they were incredibly accommodating and made sure that we felt comfortable in the area and had plenty of options for daytime activities and offered many dining recommendations. The rooms were clean and very spacious, and the restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious and so convenient. The hotel is situated right in the center of Ravello which made dining and exploring that much easier. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

02/10/2024: En la sección “Panini”, ofrecen una Hamburguesa que pedimos y nos dieron un arroz con carne de avión que estaba medio crudo sin panecillos ni verduras y algunas papas fritas. Es injusto pagar 48 € por algo diferente a lo que ofrecen y muestran en su página, además de que la carne cruda en un arroz nunca es apetitosa. Nos sentimos robados.

07/10/2024: Quello che rimarrà impresso nel mio cuore è il sapore delle materie prime egregiamente combinate tra loro. Le erbette, gli agrumi, inizi a vederli nel piatto sottoforma di decorazione, poi ne senti il profumo, di seguito ne assapori gli aromi ed infine ti scaldano l'anima come un lontano ricordo di cose buone. Il tutto gustato in un raffinato locale circondato di natura, di sole e ancora di colori e profumi. Dall' orto al piatto passando per una cucina a vista... complimenti.

06/10/2024: Ristorante molto carino. Giardino molto bello e curato con vista mozzafiato sul verde dei monti lattari. Prodotti a km 0 davvero genuini, sapientemente cucinati dallo chef. Cucina a vista molto bella e pulita.

12/10/2024: Locale originale .non facilissimo da raggiungere in piena cavascura sulla spiaggia dei maronti ma una volta arrivati il tavolo compensa. Ke bruschette e Ke alici per antipasto ma la linguina con cannolicchi e cozze super , poi la frittura di calamari pulita e gustosa ed infine le zeppoline per dessert gustose come il tutto.

30/08/2024: Abbiamo prenotato ancora una volta per ferragosto questo meraviglioso ristorante accedendo dal mare. Piatti molto ben curati e saporiti Polipo buonissimo vongole superssporite pwzxogna super Perdonale meraviglioso Sempre bello venire da voi

21/12/2024: Excellent atmosphere and service....the food was acceptable (the dishes arrived already lukewarm and this is not good in winter). Finally you are in Vomero and therefore you pay much more!

05/01/2025: Everything excellent. Very good sandwiches, welcoming environment and very friendly staff. In particular Antonio was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend going and spending an evening in this place, with excellent food and a warm atmosphere.

05/11/2024: 1) The food is very, very delicious. They probably use very good cheese or something like that. My wife ate octopus, and I couldn't believe how delicious it was... It came out to E80 including the wine, E30, but it was delicious and I felt good. 2) The service was good, of course, and 3) the atmosphere was like an American bar, and it seemed to be a trend here that there were many restaurants with this atmosphere.

12/11/2024: We ordered a 40€ bottle of wine, but they accidentally gave us a 140€. We didn't realise until the bill came as we don't really know much about wine. They argued with us and told us we ordered that one and forced us to pay for it. Terrible service.

18/10/2024: We loved this restaurant so much we came here 3 times during our 5 night stay at Hotel Montemare. The food was some of the best we had in Positano, incredible views and the service was unbeatable. The staff was so kind, friendly and fun to chat with every night. We want to thank Emmanuel for taking such good care of us, along with Indo, John and Luigi. Also to Frida who was so sweet and offered us warm blankets after the sun went down. 5 stars- thank you guys for being a part of our Positano experience and making our trip so memorable!

06/10/2024: So listen to me: if you want to EAT seriously, with generous courses, this is the right place. Education, precision, good food, cleanliness and above all PLENTY of dishes. Recommended for those who want to have a nice meal.

30/10/2024: Jack and Maria Luisa with their restaurant have given back to the beautiful square of Forio that genuine Ischia atmosphere full of good taste and simple elegance which was the characteristic of Ischia in the sixties and seventies. The cuisine is first class as is the pizza. Well done... I would like to point out, as you can see in the photo that, despite the seasonal closure, some lovely fabric curtains are left inside the windows and some decorative plants are left outside to maintain a certain aesthetic. Having said this, it would be nice if during the winter the cars weren't parked against the door (as is bad custom) to allow the environment of the little square to remain pleasant for the islanders themselves and for the tourists.

22/10/2024: An enchanting place in the heart of Forio. Beautiful location, staff very attentive to every need. Great experience, we will be back.

13/10/2024: Never got to order as grumpy waiter kept forgetting us so we left. We had eaten there two nights earlier and food was quite good but grumpy waiter never even thanked us when we left (and left good tip). Best avoided.
