12/06/2025: I will never go to a place like this again, a place immersed in the countryside full of insects, from the parking lot to get to the entrance on the ground puddles and mud, later I ask the owner Mauro who at the reception had proven to be very friendly, a courtesy where he wastes time and does not fulfill what, later during the payment phase I point out this thing but it is not taken into consideration. The food was good but the experience very disappointing. I will not return. 16/10/2024: Il locale è normale ma con posizione notevole, difronte ai templi. Clientela giovanile con prezzi giusti ma c'è un gran mah! Nello specifico, io ed un mio amico abbiamo ordinato 2 cointreau che non erano cointreau. Peccato!

Pippo, the owner, makes you feel at home and always knows how to advise you the best, the staff is a plus that makes Mattozzi a warm and welcoming place. We were served by Michele, the Neapolitan friendliness and cordiality personified. We tasted dishes prepared with care and mastery, where the Neapolitan tradition merged with the goodness of what we ate.

09/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato al ristorante Mattozzi consigliato da un noto commercialista napoletano, fiduciosi nel famoso binomio partenopeo: si mangia bene e si spende poco! In quattro, con un antipasto da dividere, quattro piatti di genovese, due dolci (sempre da dividere), una bottiglia di rosato “Costa d’Amalfi” ci siamo ritrovati con un conto da 224 euro. Un’esperienza che, più che un invito gastronomico, è sembrata un esperimento sociologico sul concetto di “fregatura ben servita”. Sconsigliato !

29/04/2025: Per andare due sere di fila nella stessa pizzeria, a Napoli, un motivo deve esserci. Dopo decenni di ristoranti rustici, raffinati, stellati, con esperienze a volte buone, altre meno, ti siedi qui, assaggi la frittatina di bucatini e la trovi meglio di qualunque cosa abbia provato finora: croccantina fuori, cremosa dentro, dove bucatini, provola, piselli, carne e besciamella si fondono in un equilibrio di sapori meravigliosi. A seguire una pizza ottima, napoletana ma leggera, dall'impasto tenero e profumato, con pomodoro e mozzarella di ottima qualità. Con un tocco di Romagna.... nella birra, ottima anche lei. Si capisce perché c'è sempre la fila. Ma sono talmente ben organizzati da rendere le attese non troppo lunghe ed il personale è cordiale, come ci si aspetta che sia a Napoli. Sinceramente, fatico a trovare un difetto in questo locale.

29/04/2025: Ottima pizza napoletana non contemporanea. Non sono accettate le prenotazioni quindi bisogna mettersi in fila ad attendere ma, almeno per il nostro caso, i tempi non sono lunghi. Ottime e consigliate le frittatine così come eccellente la gestione dei servizi costantemente presidiati da personale che ne cura la pulizia. Chiaramente ottima la pizza anche se appunto ormai l'effetto wow è raro da trovare essendo la pizza buona fortunatamente molto diffusa. Per concludere, nota di merito al prezzo, ben al di sotto di quello che mi aspettavo.

01/06/2025: 15 days ago we had a meat-based company lunch for the A.N.M. of Naples and the guests, all good eaters 《Neapolitans》, were enthusiastic. YESTERDAY I had my two children's first communions. I must say that I am a former SHOWMAN and for 23 years I have done over 100 ceremonies a year but I tell you that the chef and owner of the Ricci PARK HOTEL is the Maradona of chefs. Try it to believe it.

31/05/2025: I happened to eat in this cozy little restaurant, and one of those intimate places, that recall the restaurants of the past where the chef without problems approaches the table and exchanges a few words with you, where there is a menu, but it is like home when you ask "I wanted this is it possible?" And they answer with a smile, trying to accommodate you. It is a place where time has stopped, a place where the stop is not a race to start again but a point to return to... beautiful experience...

28/04/2025: I had lunch today with a mega salad, honest prices and friendly staff. I only recommend, at least on Mondays, to go after 12.30.

22/05/2025: I’ve been to Naples a few times in my travels and did not care for the pizza but today we finally got an amazing pizza. The crust was chewy and likely a wood fire pizza. The arugula was so fresh and the tomatoes were bursting with flavor. We throughly loved our meal. The prices here are affordable and the receipt is in Euros. Don’t hesitate it is down by the pier where the Ferries and cruise ships a block back. Eat inside or out. Very nice.

17/05/2025: There is no question about the goodness of the dishes, but in my opinion, the prices are excessively high compared to the service and the target they want to give to the place. It is not required that all the staff have attended hotel school or follow the canons of room service, but consequently then the tone and the prices should be lowered. It is certainly a place that I do not feel like recommending.

20/05/2025: Eccellenza assoluta. Il direttore Roberto e la direttrice Imma sanno benissimo cosa vuole dire accogliere e far stare bene l’ospite di questa incredibile struttura. In cucina lo chef Salvatore valorizza ed esalta la cucina locale con piatti eccellenti. Una tappa gastronomica imperdibile se si visita l’isola di Capri. Complimenti a tutto lo staff. Ciliegina sulla torta la nuova apertura del locale a-Ma-Re, osteria e pizzeria sopra la grotta Azzurra.
