25/02/2026: Terrible Entrance right in the middle of a construction site without using temporary partitions to promote the location and the view: before reaching the dining room, we walked among rubble and plastic bags. Food: Appetizer: bland clam soute Salmon, octopus, and shrimp trio: the salmon was decent, but both the octopus and shrimp were bland and very defrosted on a bed of stale lettuce. First courses: Lemon risotto, overflowing with cream and butter, arrived cold (I imagine it was prepared that morning and then reheated roughly before being brought to the table). Spaghetti with clams: the clams were full of sand, and the pasta was overcooked and "rinsed" in tomatoes. We asked to speak to the owner, who initially introduced himself as such but then reconsidered his role and, in any case, refused to come to the table. At the payment stage, we explained everything in detail, and the response was: Madam, this restaurant is obviously not for "you," they don't even know the formal "lei"! Strongly not recommended! The food is truly awful!

21/02/2026: They recommended this place to us...and we went! We had an average meal...I can't say I said "wow"... A pasta and beans dish with some seafood here costs 22 euros...It's not a question of price...But for 22 euros...the dish should be bursting with seafood...but that wasn't the case...A first course in a good restaurant costs 14 euros...18 at most...But 22 euros seemed expensive for what I got! I shared an appetizer with a colleague of mine...Which included a small bowl of clams...a small fried dish that wasn't hot...an octopus and that's it...It seems a bit paltry for a seafood place and an appetizer! We added a portion of grilled razor clams off the appetizer menu...I can't say anything good...except that we paid for them separately off the menu and not in an appetizer! We didn't order anything else...because with a bottle of wine and a bottle of water...We came to 130 euros for two! I've been to other seaside resorts, whether it's Molise, Abruzzo, or Puglia, but I haven't found anything that would make me want to return! Maybe because we're not local, we were treated differently? I don't know, but I won't be returning! We need to be more honest. It's not about price. But without quantity, it becomes a question of price.

20/02/2026: I visited Panibottle after watching a YouTube video, and the verdict was absolutely delicious. The seafood was exceptionally fresh, and while it's pricier than typical restaurants, it's well worth the price. Of the five restaurants I've tried in Naples, this is my top pick! The pasta with various shrimp and tomatoes is the best.

05/01/2026: A great bar in the heart of Irpinia. Excellent service with a wide selection of drinks. A must-visit.

18/02/2026: I've been there many times, starting in the '80s. It was excellent then and it's even better now. Excellent first and second courses, even better pizza, authentic side dishes and appetizers, with typical and mostly local products. Congratulations to everyone, the owners first and foremost and all the employees...well done!!!

06/01/2026: We visited this restaurant on New Year's Eve, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The restaurant was clearly overcrowded; it felt like they'd let in far more customers than they should have. This negatively impacted the overall service. The wait was incredibly long, both to be served and between courses. The food, in addition to arriving late, was of poor quality and not up to par for a supposedly special evening like New Year's Eve. The catering seemed improvised, almost "made yesterday," with little organization or customer service. The entertainment was also terrible: there was practically nothing planned for the children, except sitting and drawing. There was no room to move, play, or do any kind of activity. Their response: we weren't ready to welcome 200 people, my dear, YOU ARE worthy of a lawsuit! The only good thing was the piano bar and "some" waiters who, alas, poor things, didn't even know what to say!!! An experience I unfortunately wouldn't recommend. When we got home, we had the classic "milk soup" with artisanal panettone, and that's exactly what you'd expect. NEVER AGAIN!!!

03/01/2026: I'll start by saying I've eaten there a couple of times. The first time was two years ago on New Year's Eve, and I have to say I ate very well. This time it was truly horrible. New Year's Eve dinner. 1) At 8:00 PM we went in, sat down at the table, and waited over an hour and a half for the appetizer. 2) The appetizer. It said the CT was bringing battered cauliflower fritters, aka zeppoline... There were only two. 🤦‍♂️. The calamari was raw, hard, and cold. The cod was soft and tasteless. 3) At 10:40 PM, after an hour of waiting, the lobster ravioli with two mussels arrived (there were actually two). 4) People, tired of waiting, got up to dance in that tiny space, which unfortunately I gave up on dancing at a certain point because the waiters were running behind me. 5) The second course, no comment on the taste. At 11:45 PM, while we were eating the second course, we found ourselves toasting. The side salad was raw and tasteless. 6) At midnight, no lentils. The dish arrived at 12:40 AM with the pandoro cake nearby. 7) Tired, we went home around 1:00 AM without fruit or coffee. Terrible service in the kitchen. They chose to have more customers and poor service.

29/01/2026: Definitely avoid. The food is expensive and tasteless. The service is unconvincing. At the cashier, we discovered there's a cover charge (4 euros per person). The bathrooms (actually beach huts) are awful. We were disappointed.

17/02/2026: A truly disappointing evening. We booked using a form that outlined the dress code and specifics of the evening, which were not respected at all. Furthermore, we were moved to the bar area (very cold given the constantly opening door) because a birthday reservation had been poorly managed, and hence the first row. The singing dinner experience was completely lost. BEWARE OF THE BILL. Besides this: the atmosphere was not select; we left amidst shouting. Although the waiters tried to be polite, it was a far cry from social media marketing. Intrusive marketing; I strongly recommend avoiding.

08/02/2026: Sofi is a welcoming, friendly place; we were a group of friends. Dinner was sung. It was a lot of fun. The appetizers were excellent, as were the main courses.

22/09/2025: We stayed for eight nights, and had a lovely time with no complaints. Guido and his team and all very helpful and friendly, and he gave us lots of advice on what to do and how to get around the island, which improved our stay. He also arranged our transfers to and from Napoli airport (car-->ferry-->car), which removed a lot of stress and worked perfectly. The views are great, and the hotel is nicely located away from the busy streets - so long as you don't mind walking uphill. The restaurant is also really good - both in quality and value. If/when we go back to Sant' Angelo we will definitely stay here again - it's a lovely hotel, and very reasonably priced.

17/02/2026: We went to dinner with my nieces since we were staying in beautiful Salerno, and the food was delicious. The calzone and spaghetti carbonara were amazing. The waiter was very friendly; he brought us a complimentary glass of limoncello and tiramisu. And I got to try the Falanghina wine—exquisite! I would definitely go back. I loved it! 💯

02/02/2026: Passing through Salerno, this place managed to get us all to agree. Unsure of what to eat (between meat-eaters and vegetarians), we found this place that offers literally everything. Meat, fish, pizza, etc. And practically everything we ordered was excellent, from pizza to risotto (including fish and mozzarella) - truly a great discovery. And above all, thanks to Amid, he was super professional and patient (a table of 7), fulfilling every request with the utmost professionalism. Great person, thanks for the evening. Top

26/12/2025: I went to Christmas lunch with my family, knowing the place and its good reputation well. Unfortunately, I can't say as many positive things this time, especially considering the standard we've grown accustomed to. The set menu was €60, a paltry sum that didn't match the quality offered. A rich and varied appetizer that ended up being tasteless due to the different flavors plated on the same plate, not to mention the citrus-flavored roast turkey, which was actually a low-quality cold cut with a tiny piece of orange for decoration. The bocconcino... the worst I've ever eaten, yet the mozzarella is good, a must-try in our area. The pancetta and cheese were subpar. The pacchero alla pescatrice was washed-out and bland. The lasagna was the only dish that stood out, good and delicate. The owner of the restaurant was sitting with us for lunch... so I think he's fully aware of what he's been doing for his guests... especially because when it came to the bill, he didn't even ask us how we'd eaten. It was truly a lunch to forget, and I'm not kidding, for that price, we certainly would have eaten better at a farmhouse...

05/10/2025: I was here for lunch for a wedding, and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. Beautiful venue surrounded by greenery. Well-maintained. Good staff, and good food. I really enjoyed it.

24/03/2026: It would be better to focus less on the apartment and more on the substance. The place is nice, but I felt like I was eating in a cafeteria. The food wasn't up to par. It's a shame because there's potential.
