16/04/2026: The restaurant is welcoming with its modern shapes. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is very kind with you. I appreciated the possibility to see the kitchen, because there aren't walls or any kind of separation. The dishes are great and portions are correct for the price. The menu is not so full of dishes, but everyone of it needs to be tried once upon a time. I strongly recommend this restaurant, mostly if you want to spend an enjoyable evening with your friends or colleges.

16/04/2026: KING OF SPAGHETTI ! What fun to be back in beautiful Salerno ! My wife and I arrived here for a 6 day vacation on Thurs, March 27th after a long private limo drive from Florence. Martin our good friend and limo / tour driver dropped us off a short distance from our 4th floor Airbnb on Corso Vittorio Emanuele....the ( mostly ) pedestrian mall which runs the length of downtown Salerno. We intended to revisit most of the restaurants, cafes and gelato shops we loved during our 4 day visit here 18 months ago...and find some new ones ! In fact during dinner that first night at a very good pizzeria one of the staff suggested Al Dente to us...said it was very good. On Saturday we set off along the pedestrian mall and arrived here around 1.30pm to grab some lunch. THE PLACE WAS PACKED OUT ! As soon as we entered the eatery I ran into Mauro the very friendly manager who seated us at a table immediately...the only one in sight. GREAT VIBE ! Everywhere I looked I could see contented diners enjoying their spaghetti dishes. BEER ! Mauro was the right guy to talk to and brought me an ice cold Mastri Birra Umbri IPA with a tall stem glass straight off the bat. VERY SATISFYING ! This was an American style IPA - 6.5% abv and a pleasure to drink . FOOD ! There was an enormous selection on the menu. My wife ordered BACON AND EGG ( Fresh organic eggs, pecorino romano DOP, Norcia bacon, black pepper ) while I decided on TOMATO AND BACON ( Norcia bacon, San Marzano DOP tomato, Pecorino Romano DOP and black pepper ). POPULAR PLACE ! I noticed that every time a table was vacated it was taken straight away. FAST SERVICE ! Our beautiful looking dishes arrived faster than the bullet train. SPAGHETTI HEAVEN ! Our perfectly made meals tasted extraordinary...these guys have got it down to a fine art. We paid the bill and thanked Mauro the cool manager, Veronica & Giuseppe the kind servers....got selfies of course ! Without a doubt we would have come back again but we had a very full schedule ahead of us. ONE OF OUR BEST DINING EXPERIENCES IN ITALY !

07/04/2026: We visited this splendid location on Easter Monday, where, in most cases, the high levels of influence mean that the quality of service, food, or cleanliness rarely remain high. This was certainly not the case here. Everything was perfect: friendly staff, from the owner to the waiter, unlimited availability, well-kept spaces even for those seeking privacy, gourmet flavors framed by a villa with a pool and gardens. 28/02/2026: I had the pleasure of discovering this elegant restaurant with a pool about three years ago, at a private event organized by longtime friends. Even then, despite the buffet format, my wife and I were deeply impressed by the excellent selection of ingredients. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn that the owners, Fausto and Cristina, have been longtime acquaintances of ours. ​Eager to explore their culinary offerings further, I recently returned for several convivial dinners, and the experience has consistently exceeded expectations. In addition to the undisputed and superb quality of the ingredients, Fausto proves himself to be an absolute guarantee in the kitchen, distinguishing himself not only for his impeccable cooking technique but also for his remarkable mastery and aesthetics in plating. During our last visit, the chef delighted us with a top-notch seafood experience: an exceptional selection of raw seafood as an appetizer, followed by a first course of exquisitely crafted linguine with crab. To finish, an excellent Gargano red corba, a delicious discovery that truly surprised the palate. In short, an unmissable food and wine destination. A must-see for anyone who loves haute cuisine.

05/05/2026: We also found this restaurant based on a YouTube recommendation. I think these reviews need updating. We waited about fifteen minutes for a table, and I have to say, unfortunately, it wasn't worth it. I ordered the rigattoni with Neapolitan Genovese, and there was no trace of the melt-in-your-mouth meat they were talking about on YouTube. I had quite a bit of it, but it was as hard as rubber and contained particles that were only good for spitting out. The strange practice of serving bread with pasta probably has its reasons: the portions are rather small. If you're very hungry, don't go there; that's just my opinion. The taste was okay, but not enough to make me return or recommend it.

The ingredients are top-quality, and you can taste them from the first bite to the last. The experience is completed by the extremely polite and welcoming wait staff, always attentive to the needs of their customers, capable of making you feel immediately at ease. An ideal place for those who want to eat well without feeling heavy and feel treated with courtesy.

03/05/2026: I had a great experience here yesterday. The food was delicious, the service was prompt/efficient and they were very patient with me ordering being an English speaker only! My swordfish was prepared exactly as I requested it and the side salad was great. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to all of my friends and colleagues!

02/04/2026: We visited this trattoria based on a recommendation in our guidebook and on Google. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The service was unmotivated. The waiter only brought the bread for the appetizer after we pointed it out. The salad for the main course arrived after we had already finished our main course. The quality of the meat can only be described as very poor. When paying at the register, we were asked if everything was alright. We expressed our dissatisfaction, whereupon they reduced the price by €6. We felt this was completely unacceptable. We have eaten at well over 100 restaurants in Italy in recent years and cannot understand the positive reviews.

01/02/2026: A real Italian restaurant. Locals come here, so you know you're in good hands. The staff is super friendly and even wanted to take a picture with us. It was wonderful to have a real Naples pizza. It's a small, open pizza kitchen that, by Dutch standards, doesn't look very tidy, but those are often the best restaurants.

The service is lacking and the waiters are uninteresting; if you're going to work like this, you'd better change jobs. The girl outside taking names for the waiting list was annoyed by our every question. We waited an hour and a half for our food, and it wasn't worth it. Not recommended if you want good pizza with good service.
