19/01/2026: Impossible to book on Saturdays! I called well in advance to book for a Saturday in January, and they told me that weekday bookings are only accepted starting at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. I called nonstop from 10:00 a.m. until they answered (the phone was always free). At 10:15 a.m., they answered and said everything was already booked. This is not serious!

09/01/2026: A warm, welcoming, and family-friendly atmosphere. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and available to provide information about the dishes. The food was fresh and excellent. I ordered pappardelle with saffron and zucchini and was blown away. The saffron flavor in this dish reminded me of the authentic flavor of saffron my grandmother used to prepare for me as a child, something I'd never tasted anywhere else.

08/01/2026: The restaurant is well-kept, with just a few tables and a formal feel. The dishes arrive promptly, and the pasta is all homemade. The gnocchi are exquisite, as are the spaghetti alla chitarra. There's no wine by the glass; they do have a house bottle for €8. Good.

11/01/2026: Pizzeria with clean, spacious, air-conditioned, well-lit, and welcoming spaces. Fast table service. Wide selection of pizzas with takeout available. Friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and professional staff.

06/01/2026: Truly excellent! I've been coming here for many years, and every time it's a fantastic experience. The pizza is extraordinary: light and easy to digest, top-quality ingredients, and always perfect pairings. The arrosticini are spectacular, tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The service is impeccable: Nino, Anna, Francesca, and the entire staff are wonderful people, always smiling, attentive, and ready to recommend the best pizzas based on the customer's tastes. A place that never disappoints, a must-try for anyone who loves good food. Definitely worth a try!

18/12/2025: Buon pomeriggio... Un mio amico si è recato presso il ristorante per prenotare un tavolo... Personale gentile ed educato, al contrario di una donna che,intenta a manovrare la macchina del caffè, ha ascoltato con la coda dell'orecchio, il discorso di un gentile signore del team che proponeva al mio amico un costo di circa 40/50 € a persona. La signora addetta alla manovre della caffettiera, con fare nei modi pari a Lady Diana Spencer, apostrofava il gentile signore il quale aveva proposto 40/50 € per un antipasto freddo un primo e una frittura...bevande escluse, affermando che quel prezzo non sarebbe stato possibile, e,sempre con la grazia della principessa Diana Spencer e continuando a guardare il pavimento e la caffettiera, licenziava il mio amico come fecero in una scena del film "Pretty Woman" le commesse del negozio di griffe a Los Angeles, in in cui la bellissima Giulia Roberts chiedeva consigli su quale abito potesse starle meglio...Una delle due "splendide " commesse rispose: "io non credo che abbiamo niente per lei"...

04/10/2025: The location is fantastic. Unfortunately, the road leading to the hotel (the last 500 meters) is in poor condition. Be careful with low-slung vehicles. But the hotel and restaurant make up for this with their facilities and the view.

06/01/2026: Visited Taverna Ducale on May 2, 2022. My son, granddaughter and I were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Our meal was beyond excellent. Each course was prepared and presented with great care. From the prosciutto and melon (we ordered it twice) and charcuterie, to the various main courses we had, were amazing. One of the most delightful and memorable meals I have ever had. Five stars... Can't wait to return.

The excellent ingredients are prepared with care and attention, both in the dishes served in the dining room and in the takeout options. The staff is always polite, friendly, and helpful, offering a level of customer service unlike any other. The main dining room is welcoming, warm, spacious, and always clean. The selection of wines and beverages is also highly appreciated: extensive and well-thought-out, with options to suit different needs and pairings. You can also reserve with particularly favorable discounts through TheFork. The newer shop adjacent to the restaurant is also excellent, offering Too Good To Go boxes that deserve special mention: generous, well-presented, and significantly above average. They fully reflect the restaurant's standards and demonstrate a serious and concrete approach to the fight against food waste. Reliable, authentic, I recommend it without hesitation.

14/12/2025: I hosted a graduation party here. The food was excellent, the service was prompt and efficient, and the atmosphere was very intimate. The owner was very accommodating to our needs, and we had a wonderful evening.

23/01/2026: In a town famous for its ironwork, you're surprised to stumble upon an excellent restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming and distinctive, featuring stone arches and a brick ceiling. Perhaps a less modern lighting system would have been more appropriate; but that's, of course, just a matter of personal taste. The staff provided precise descriptions of the dishes, and the service was prompt and courteous. There wasn't a single course, from appetizers to dessert, that didn't delight my palate. I don't recommend any particular dish, because you can't go wrong with any of the extensive menu. I'll just mention the quality of the bread, which is truly exceptional! The bill was absolutely reasonable considering the quality of the food. I should point out that, after paying the bill, as I was leaving the restaurant, I was called back to the cashier and told they had made a mistake—handing me the bill from another table—and they refunded me the difference (€40!). I really appreciated their honesty.
