04/10/2025: We travel frequently for business and/or pleasure. We rarely give a restaurant 5 stars because perfection is difficult to achieve. Taverna del Marinaio in Lanciano fully deserves 5 stars! Unsurpassed value for money. Excellently prepared food, everything is refined and fresh. The service, evening meal pairings, and wine selection are extraordinary. The location is breathtaking. This restaurant demonstrates the entire staff's passion for food and wine. The restaurant is spotless, as are the restrooms. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The dining room staff is very knowledgeable about gastronomy and the entire world of wine. We will definitely be back!

14/09/2025: Beautiful experience in this wonderful restaurant that tells its story... ilaster chef Michele, a polenta maker of the past, with his polenta rognosa makes this dish an emblem, very good and rich in ingredients... delicious. Try it.

02/10/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, after visiting the beautiful village of Pacentro. It was Sunday, so there were a lot of tourists, but we were able to find a table between the two of us. Excellent food and friendly, attentive staff, in a traditional, refined setting.

23/09/2025: We had dinner for two at this cute place. The burgers and fries were excellent, the fried pizzas were delicious, and the dessert was delicious too. The staff and young owner were very friendly. Prices were reasonable. I recommend it.

12/09/2025: We certainly had high expectations, given the reviews, but in short... a generous appetizer, with delicious but heavy fried dishes and the celebrated meatballs that didn't convince us like elsewhere, the arrosticini were only decent, and the lamb was unfortunately tough. The pizza was baked in an electric oven, completely forgettable. And the desserts in the glass were rather bland, especially the cheesecake... in short, a slight disappointment, unexpected... perhaps an unlucky evening... for my part, the atmosphere was pleasant and friendly, but there were way too many cats constantly wandering around the tables, understandably looking for food.

11/10/2025: An elegant restaurant with a quiet atmosphere and extremely knowledgeable staff, who make you feel at home. It was a dinner for two, but perhaps more of a journey through many flavors, some unexpected, all absolutely delightful! The raw fish was the star, but the first courses were also excellent. The price was reasonable for what we ate. Recommended!

07/10/2025: To have specials other than fish, you even have to make a reservation. This isn't an acceptable solution for a high-end restaurant.

Your waiter is completely overwhelmed. When was the last time he visited a competitor's restaurant to see how it should be run? I'm sorry, but you shouldn't continue to work this way.

The first courses were delicious and beautiful, the wine list was extensive, and the desserts were delicious, all made with local ingredients. The wait staff was very kind and gave us tips on nearby towns to visit. Congratulations!

28/08/2025: A pleasant discovery Nestled on the main street of the town next to the main church, it offers both indoor and outdoor seating The atmosphere is very peaceful even outside, making it a lovely summer evening to enjoy The first point of excellence is the service, very welcoming and knowledgeable. They were able to guide me in my choice, suggesting a dish that wasn't listed on the menu but which I greatly appreciated thanks to the sensitivity of the young woman who took my order Everything was delicious and beautifully presented, from appetizer to dessert The meat is the second point of excellence, flavors that we are forgetting in our cities The dessert is also excellent What can I say...it's addictive, I absolutely must return...

25/08/2025: We chose to celebrate our wedding at Country House San Pietro, a wonderful property surrounded by greenery, with a charming pool just how we wanted it. Even though the weather wasn't our friend at first, Michele did everything he could to accommodate us and make the day special. The food was excellent, the spaces perfect, and the staff's helpfulness was truly unparalleled. The desserts... simply out of this world! My only small complaint: I would only review the rooms intended for overnight stays. Otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much to all the staff!

28/09/2025: We had made a reservation and were told there was only seating outside. Upon arrival, the owner warned us that there might be "a few flies": in reality, it was an invasion. Our first courses were immediately swarmed by insects. We asked to move inside, but instead of re-setting a table, we had to bring our own plates, cutlery, and glasses, with the waiter trying to help us while the owner watched unapologetically. The pasta, already full of flies, wasn't even replaced. When it came time to get the bill, which we paid in cash, we were given a non-fiscal receipt. The food was decent, but with a rude owner and such an organization, we'll never return. Two stars only thanks to the waiter, the only professional one.
