21/10/2025: Without a doubt, the best restaurant in the Rivisondoli-Pescocostanzo-Roccaraso area. Excellent food, impeccable service, and attentive, courteous, and fun staff. The price is reasonable for the quality. Reservations are recommended, as seating is limited. We'll be happy to return.

20/10/2025: A bad experience, starting with the wine... we ordered two glasses and were brought an open bottle and a closed one with a different flavor. We pointed this out to the owner, who looked annoyed and replied that she had opened it at noon. We then received an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, which was quite good... the worst was with the first courses: we ordered pappardelle with truffles and they arrived drowned in cream... incredible!!! They were inedible. My other first course was a large bucatini with pecorino cheese, completely flavorless and with tons of oil. At that point, we decided to ask for the bill and leave. It was a shame because the place was very nice... but now we understand why it's called AL GIOCONDO!!!

02/11/2025: Lorenzo and his staff welcome you with the smile and friendliness typical of Abruzzo. From the moment you make your reservation over the phone, you feel like a welcome guest, an old friend. Then you arrive at the restaurant, sit down, and there, determined to taste the typical San Vitese dish, a mystical experience begins: the king of fish soup literally left us speechless. A bowl full of simple but perfect fish for this dish—cod, weever, red mullet, skate, mantis shrimp, cuttlefish—all immersed in a tomato sauce, flavored with a few pieces of bell pepper, into which you can dip the perfectly toasted bread. You can savor it all at your leisure; for half an hour, it's just you and the dish before you, a true culinary experience. The best part, however, comes as soon as you've finished enjoying the fish and bread, which you know how to manage wisely, mindful of what's next. The pasta of your choice is cooked in the remaining sauce...we opted for squares (like maltagliati) made with water and flour, which are special. For the more indulgent, Lorenzo brings his own chili pepper oil to the table, spicy and fragrant. A cold pecorino from the San Giacomo winery to accompany it all, and the magic is complete. 06/10/2025: We came to Serramonacesca from Hungary for an airsoft event. We went here for dinner every night. The staff was extremely professional and helpful, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it to everyone!!!

15/10/2025: The food was fantastic. The Chitarra alla Norcina was simply incredible. The portions were large and plentiful. The local beer from Teramo also tasted very good. It's a bit hidden, but it's definitely worth the search.

03/11/2025: We knew San Pietro from other weddings, and when we decided to get married, the first thing we thought was, "I want to get married there!" It was a guarantee for us. And it was, far exceeding our expectations! We felt at home; Andrea and his family are exceptional people; Michele was our mind and heart. The organization fulfilled every wish we had; the food was excellent! And what can I say... the location was wonderful. We received compliments from all our guests, and this was a great gift for us. Making our day, and even more so, the day of the people we love, special, made them feel at home. Thank you, San Pietro. We would choose you 1,000 times over.

27/10/2025: We celebrated our wedding at San Pietro on June 27th. We'd always known we wanted to do it there, and our first meeting with Michele confirmed everything we'd always imagined! A dream location, impeccable staff, and meticulously organized! We truly couldn't have chosen a better place. Our guests were all thrilled with the food, the service, and the kindness of the staff, as well as the beautiful location, of course. We sincerely thank everyone, especially Michele, who was with us from day one, accommodating our every request. We would choose you a thousand times over!

02/10/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, after visiting the beautiful village of Pacentro. It was Sunday, so there were a lot of tourists, but we were able to find a table between the two of us. Excellent food and friendly, attentive staff, in a traditional, refined setting.

23/09/2025: We had dinner for two at this cute place. The burgers and fries were excellent, the fried pizzas were delicious, and the dessert was delicious too. The staff and young owner were very friendly. Prices were reasonable. I recommend it.

02/11/2025: Passing by after a canoe trip on the Tirino River, it had been highly recommended. Everything was excellent, from the ingredients to the service to the location; only the bill was a bit high. It's certainly a bit pricey for a quick lunch with a view, but perfect for a nice evening.

30/10/2025: How could you not stop here if you're passing through Navelli? A must. A very quiet and relaxing place. Friendly staff. Very authentic and flavorful dishes made with excellent ingredients. I recommend stopping by for lunch too!

26/10/2025: Lunch on Saturday. Walked in and we were the only Americans there. They quickly seated us in the last 2 top. Taverna was full. Knew it would be good. We ordered water and wine. Then the appetizer of meatballs accompanied with potatoes and cauliflower. The Ragu was amazing. Next came the gnocchi and peci to share. Then the Nona that was cooking and taking charge brought over a sampling of spaghetti with truffles. Everything was marvelous. Stepped up to pay and the owner who spoke some English talked with us for 15 minutes, wondering how we had found the taverna and where we had been where we were going, etc..Truely a great restaurant,

07/09/2025: We stopped for lunch in an intimate and elegant setting. The first courses were delicious and beautiful, the wine list was extensive, and the desserts were delicious, all made with local ingredients. The wait staff was very kind and gave us tips on nearby towns to visit. Congratulations!

27/08/2025: A wonderful dog greeted us! A very nice location, beautifully decorated. A very good and well-served lunch with typical local dishes, all accompanied by lounge music.

24/10/2025: A very warm welcome with a clear desire to share their cuisine. Squash flan and mini cabbage stew to start, then an assortment of meats and desserts, all very tasty, including a revisited Tiramisu to discover.

19/10/2025: Specializing in meat cooking, from arrosticini to premium cuts. I really liked the research that goes into every dish and ingredient, all selected according to a very specific criterion: customer satisfaction. Fillet arrosticini, usually hard to find in a restaurant, are available here. The Godot appetizer was thrilling, two courses that vary according to the seasonality of the products, but which are a sublime explosion of flavors. One of these was the pumpkin tart on a cheese fondue and balsamic reduction, with a crunchy note provided by the puffed Venere rice, a flavor explosion. The wine cellar was also interesting, well-stocked for interesting pairings with the dishes. The meat was also exceptional and cooked to perfection. A very positive experience.
