08/04/2026: As a vegan for over ten years, I know how difficult it is to find truly inclusive and well-prepared omnivorous restaurants. Often, you have to settle, but this place was a wonderful exception. For Easter lunch, I found a surprising vegan menu, one that remained true to tradition without sacrificing creativity. The dishes were an explosion of colors and aromas, meticulously crafted and anything but ordinary. What makes this place special is the hospitality: the staff is incredibly kind, but it's the owner who makes the difference. He's extremely attentive, open, and knowledgeable, and deeply understands the meaning of a diverse diet and doesn't treat it as a simple "substitution." Feeling welcomed and valued on an equal footing with all the other guests is not a given. I will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone, especially those seeking cuisine that combines ethics and tradition.

06/04/2026: This functional B&B is located along State Road 17. It has spacious rooms. Next door is an excellent restaurant, run primarily by Emanuele, who uses his grandmother's recipes. We also tried the shop, which serves excellent cheese arancini and a wide selection of wines.

11/05/2026: I discovered a true gem in the heart of Città Sant'Angelo: Hosteria Cavour. The location is simply marvelous: in the heart of the historic center, finely preserved, with splendid ancient vaults and sage-green walls that create an elegant, warm, and authentic atmosphere. A place that makes you fall in love as soon as you enter. Guglielmo's welcome is impeccable: courtesy, attention, and passion are evident in every detail. And then there's the extraordinary mastery of chef Stefania, capable of transforming every dish into an unforgettable experience. Everything is exceptional: the homemade walnut bread, the fragrant focaccia, the stewed onions, the stuffed mushrooms, the lamb livers, the chicory with pine nuts, the artisanal sausages, and the pecorino accompanied by homemade fig and chili jams... authentic yet sophisticated flavors. The homemade pistachio ravioli were spectacular, the steak cooked to perfection, the lamb was incredibly fresh, and the arrosticini were simply superb. The finale was worthy of applause: an exceptional cheesecake and a magnificent vin santo accompanied by homemade biscotti and tarallucci. All accompanied by an excellent wine that made the dinner perfect in every way. A place where you can feel the love for cuisine, tradition, and hospitality. An experience that will remain in your heart and that I recommend to anyone who wants to experience the best of authentic Abruzzo. We'll be back very soon.

When in Sulmona, it's a must-visit: it's always a pleasure to return! The cuisine is refined and full of time-honored flavors and aromas; it's a shame it's closed for dinner. Reservations are recommended.

14/05/2026: An excellent experience on May 1st in Teramo, a day celebrated throughout the city to celebrate the traditional dish "Virtù." Set menu: local cured meats and cheeses, mazzarella, all-you-can-eat virtù, mixed grill, side dishes, sweet pizza, and drinks included. Price: €50 per person. Not cheap, at least compared to other local restaurants offering similar options, but the place is nice and just the right size to make you feel comfortable. Perhaps a little noisy when full. Some soundproofing could be considered. Excellent service: we never had to ask for another carafe of still or sparkling water, wine, or bread basket. We were always, and I mean always, greeted by the staff, assisted for the occasion by the owner. The dishes served were all top-quality: quality cured meats, not the usual very young prosciutto, perfectly aged; the cheeses were also excellent; mazzarella (another typical Teramo seasonal dish), but with several ripasso (ripassi). I personally enjoyed it three times! Virtues galore. This is perhaps the only criticism I could make, because Virtues are a dish that every family prepares slightly differently. For example, I found them a little too liquidy, poorly blended, but still very good, so much so that I made two more re-seasonings! Next was a mixed grill: sliced ​​beef, lamb, and baked sausage. All delicious and tender meat. And this too was plentiful, complete with re-seasoning! A side salad, to degrease the fat, was served, although there was nothing greasy about it. In fact, one thing we all commented on (there were seven of us at the table) was that we felt light and clean. To complete the lunch, the Pizza Dolce Teramana was a must, and here the re-seasoning would have been nice, but it was offset by the cantuccini biscuits that accompanied the coffee. In short, a great experience, worth repeating even on any Sunday, given that they have all-inclusive menus for 30 euros, which seems like a very fair price to me.

25/02/2026: My first experience at this restaurant, unfortunately, was not a positive one. I specifically requested gluten-free pasta due to an intolerance. After eating it, I experienced significant symptoms consistent with my condition, including severe bloating and discomfort. This made me question whether the request was properly handled, an aspect that cannot be underestimated for those with an intolerance. For the second course, we ordered chicken with potatoes, but I found the saltiness excessive and the perceived quality of the meat not in line with my stated expectations. The thirst and discomfort persisted throughout the evening and into the following day. From my personal experience, I will definitely not return. *You know perfectly well who I am, so this is not an "unidentifiable" profile. I would like to point out that the cake we brought was gluten-free, precisely because my intolerance is not an opinion but a condition that I manage carefully. I reported the symptoms I experienced after eating the pasta served as "gluten-free." When declaring an intolerance, the restaurateur must pay maximum attention to the customer, also out of respect. Regarding the main course, my opinion remains based on my personal experience, both in terms of perceived quality and the level of saltiness, which I found excessive. Every customer has the right to express their opinion, just as every restaurateur is free to respond. Have a good day.

13/04/2026: I had lunch at La Zattera today and was truly impressed by the experience. The seafood was a real surprise, starting with the appetizers, which turned out to be very unique and different from the usual. Since there were nine of us, we decided to try practically every first course on the menu: they were all different and, honestly, each one better than the last. The location is beautiful, right on the beach, while the interior is striking for its minimalist style, truly charming and well-kept. Despite the crowds, the service was excellent; the owner and the blonde waitress were very kind and professional, the service didn't take long, and everything went smoothly. I absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for quality and a great atmosphere!
