11/03/2025: This place in Castel di Sangro was a pleasant discovery. Beautiful location, extremely competent and polite dining room staff. Special mention for the menu of the day, with a mouth-watering polenta with broccoli, sausage and scamorza. Obviously the typical Abruzzo kebabs cannot be missing. Good price level.

13/03/2025: Superlative cuisine, excellent service and wonderful location. Applause for the wine list. Highly recommended. The Sunday lunch idea is brilliant and everything from the starter to the dessert was a wonderful discovery of incredible flavours. For me, one of the best restaurants in the area.

13/03/2025: Lucky to have discovered it, excellent food, flavors you don't expect, innovative and respectful traditional dishes. Excellent fresh pasta, full-bodied and robust. Delicious and tasty meats. All dishes accompanied by enveloping and tasty sauces or stocks. The dessert was a surprise! What you see is a detail compared to the explosion of flavors in your mouth. All with impeccable service and accompanied by a good wine. Well done!!!!

According to the delicate and very pleasant salt, you should choose something other than potatoes as a side dish. Service quite fast and without problems. I highly recommend...

I proprietari affabili, simpatici e molto professionali. Non vi faranno mancare nulla. Sempre presenti con tutte le attenzioni del caso. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo! Piatti eccellenti, cucinati con estrema ricercatezza, tutto con materia prima locale e di qualità. Non posso recensire un piatto in particolare perché non saprei quale scegliere.. tutto al top! Straconsigliatissimo sotto ogni aspetto!

16/03/2025: Ci siamo trovati a Celano per trascorrere un fine settimana sulla neve ad Ovindoli. L'hotel in cui abbiamo alloggiato non aveva il servizio di ristorazione e ci ha suggerito questo locale per mangiare carne. Ci siamo trovati bene: la locanda richiama molto l'idea del castello, i cibi semplici ma ben preparati e con un giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo. Siam tornati anche per il pranzo il giorno successivo! La ragazza che ci ha serviti è stata carinissima, sempre sorridente e disponibile. Anche nella gestione delle comande i tempi d'attesa erano perfetti.

Service could be improved (for this environment the waitress who leaves the bottle on the table without even saying a word for example), but in general a more than positive experience and superb seafood flavors Take into account that you will spend an average of €70-80 per person I'll be back
