12/09/2025: From appetizers to desserts, everything was delicious. The owner and waitress were professional and courteous. Highly recommended.

23/08/2025: I was speechless. An infinitely good place, perfect and delicious local recipes. Let's start with the appetizers, which perfectly reflect Abruzzo tradition. Don't worry, the owner will bring them all to you without fearing you won't order the first courses. You have to try them all, especially the PIZZA AND FOJE, EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA, and GRILLED CHEESE. If you'd like, you can call her and reserve the COD menu, amazing... The first courses I tried were SAGNE AND CHICKPEAS and GOAT RICOTTA RAVIOLI with TOMATO SAUCE... and I couldn't say which of the two amazed me more. For the second course, we had the grilled lamb... Divine! Good selection of wines, without pretensions. I'll be back and try more. For now, compliments to the cuisine and the impeccable, kind, and welcoming service!

07/09/2025: Far from the quality it once was; they only cater to passing tourists, of whom there is no shortage. The air conditioning has been out of order for two days and there was no notice when booking. The pan of mussels and clams wasn't worth the price (€18). The octopus was overcooked. The fried food didn't contain what was ordered (red mullet and cod), but only four anchovies and the calamari were soft and therefore probably frozen. Prices were out of context.

09/09/2025: I dined with my family and chose the five-course menu, allowing the chef to guide us in our selection. We dined indoors, with a splendid view of the kitchen and Chef Maicol. The traditional flavors, creatively reinterpreted, and the quality of the ingredients were extraordinary: a true delight for the palate. The setting, with its exposed brick walls, is evocative and consistent with the chef's philosophy: tradition and modernity, with great attention to detail. One detail I appreciated, observing from the open kitchen: the chef tastes every dish, checks the pasta before draining it, and measures the temperature of the meat before serving. These are gestures that, after thousands of times, he could now perform automatically, relying on his experience. Yet, it's clearly evident that every detail is meticulously checked: for me, this is the truest sign of a constant pursuit of perfection and a profound respect for the customer. The service was excellent: fast, efficient, and friendly. I felt welcomed and cared for. The wine list is also very well-curated, with a selection that highlights regional labels in particular. I hope to return soon. I wish Maicol and his young colleagues a bright future: a splendid company that deserves to grow. Well done!

29/08/2025: What a wonderful experience! We enjoyed a top-notch dinner, from traditional appetizers to the grilled meats—simply sublime. The restaurant, splendid and renovated with respect for tradition, maintains a vibrant connection between past and present. Making everything even more special is the team's youthful spirit, combined with a truly rare level of professionalism and care. I hope they all continue to do so, and I hope we all return again to be enchanted by their dishes. Best of luck!

05/10/2025: A welcoming, family-run restaurant just steps from the Castle, offering excellent homemade food. The owner is incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, serving and describing his dishes with passion and energy. Each dish has a story and a reason for being there, and we were treated to a meticulous service throughout the meal, as were the other diners at the tables. Delicious food in a delightful atmosphere. We will definitely be back, and we sincerely thank the owner for the welcome and unexpected gift of a lovely bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, which we will drink to his health! Highly recommended, and see you soon!

02/10/2025: Visited yesterday for lunch with friends, all experts in wine, terroir, and food. First-class hospitality and a meticulously curated menu, crafting ideas using top-quality local ingredients (grains, herbs, flowers, and select meats) crafted with inspiration and substance. Whether it's grain risotto with herbs and dandelion petals, or pork stew, or lamb with local herbs, you're spoiled for choice. Sandro Baliva manages everything with care, passion, and a surprising knowledge of the rural culture of the past, which he respectfully reinterprets in his dishes. A bonus is the location, just steps from Piccolomini Castle, and the view of the Fucino valley.

24/09/2025: We went to this place one evening in September. It's on the beach, nothing super sophisticated, very simple, and I'd say it's suitable for families. The menu, as the name suggests, features mostly fried fish dishes. The prices are in line, neither expensive nor super cheap. The dishes are good and well-balanced. I recommend it if you're in the area in the summer.

23/09/2025: I have been to this restaurant for dinner three times now and each time it has been a great experience. The food was delicious – always fresh, beautifully presented and absolutely flawless in taste. The service was also top notch, kind, attentive and professional, making us feel really welcome. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant and relaxed, which makes the visit an experience to look forward to. I definitely recommend it and I would love to go back soon myself!

11/09/2025: All the trabocchi only offer set menus. €60/70/80 per person. Appetizer, first course, second course, dessert. I was with my nephew, a teenager who eats very little. I couldn't go. I was very disappointed. But are we sure this is the right way to do it? I didn't like it.

07/08/2025: A sublime lunch! Excellent bottles from top wineries. The raw fish was spectacular, all very tasty and cooked with passion. I also thoroughly enjoyed the two first courses, both delicate and flavorful. A truly excellent lunch, from the appetizers to my beloved gentian. I hope to return. The staff was super efficient, even super fast at times; perhaps a few more minutes would have been perfect before clearing away the glasses and bottles, just to enjoy the last moments. 08/09/2025: A good trattoria serving delicious traditional cuisine, especially the fish-based first courses, such as chitarrina, spaghettoni, and gnocchetti, the latter a bit smaller in portion than the others. The brodetto/guazzetto/zuppa is truly excellent, if served with pasta! The atmosphere is basic, like a trattoria; the only downside is the location. Friendly and helpful staff.

18/09/2025: I discovered this restaurant thanks to the Michelin Guide. The setting is intimate, with limited seating, but a truly welcoming atmosphere. Impeccable service, traditional cuisine, and every dish tastes extraordinary. I highly recommend it to anyone in Rivisondoli; the prices are more than fair.
