We ate here for 10 days straight, and every day was a surprise: the dishes were always different, meticulously prepared, and truly delicious. She—who does everything, from cooking to serving—is a force of nature: welcoming, attentive, and genuine. You can feel the passion and love she puts into her cooking in every dish. A rare place, where you feel at home and eat better than at home. Highly recommended for those seeking authenticity and true flavors.
07/10/2025: I ate at this restaurant and was truly satisfied. The food is excellent: carefully crafted dishes, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors that are evident from the first bite. Everything is prepared with artisanal attention and great passion. The welcome is warm and the service genuine, demonstrating the dedication and love for the profession. The attention to those with food intolerances or vegetarian diets is also greatly appreciated: tailor-made dishes are equally tasty and carefully crafted. I absolutely recommend this place—I'll gladly return!

15/08/2025: A beautiful and refined location in the magical heart of Sant'Agata de' Goti. Excellent cuisine, friendly and helpful staff. Giovanna is also an excellent sommelier. The chef, besides being excellent, knows how to surprise his guests with pleasant surprises that complement and enrich the menu. Here you can feel the passion and love these guys put into their work. A place I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a superior culinary experience in a pleasant and charming setting. Sincere compliments. We will definitely be back.
04/08/2025: We didn't even have dinner—we only came in to ask for information, but we were treated coldly, almost as if our presence were a nuisance. We can't comment on the food, but with such a warm welcome, we wouldn't even be interested in the best dish in the world. If you don't want outside customers entering during private events, put up a clear sign at the entrance. A restaurant can lose customers before it wins them. And that's what happened. Update: Dear Gianna, Perhaps there was a big misunderstanding, but I'd like to clarify something: I wasn't there to visit the building, nor was I looking for a tour or an appointment. I simply came in to ask about the restaurant—hours, availability of tables outside—because I was thinking of returning for dinner another day. I wasn't expecting a "guided tour," but a simple "Good evening, how may I help you?" Instead, we were escorted to the exit without even having the chance to speak. If there's a private event, it's right to protect it—but you put up a sign, or at least communicate politely. Instead, we felt coldness, distance, and no interest in us as potential customers. Evaluating an experience is a right, especially if it's a restaurant open to the public. And describing such an inhospitable welcome isn't "defamation," it's simply telling the truth. I wish you all the best in your work.

24/06/2025: We had a B&B in the building, and the owner recommended we try this restaurant. The place isn't "sexy," but the Fainè was excellent and plentiful. Many Sassari locals were seated, which is often a sign of quality. I recommend it.

12/11/2025: Osteria in the center of Sarzana. I've been a couple of times and received varying reviews. It's a pleasant place, but the service depends on who's on duty that night. If you happen to be sitting next to a table that's ordering meat, you'll be infested with grilled food. With a few tweaks, it could be a typical place to hang out, but I feel like it's lacking a bit of passion.

19/10/2025: The tavern is mainly meat-based rather than fish-based, although you can also find some interesting fish dishes. In the meantime, make a reservation, otherwise you have to wait for a table to become available. Also, because it's always full, the atmosphere is a bit noisy. The Gran Antipasto Toscano was good, I would only have put 2 more slices of prosciutto crudo and mortadella (there were only 2 slices per slice), while there were 4 slices of salami. Apart from this, there were Coccoli (fried pizza bites) / crostini with mushrooms / crostini with chicken livers (the pâté should have been cooked more) / pappa al pomodoro / I had the stracchino added to the rest. The first courses are the best: pappardelle with wild boar with dark chocolate flakes and tortelli filled with leeks, on a pumpkin cream. A seasonal dish, which I hope to try again. The mixed grill: lamb ribs (good, but still too much fatty) sausage (cook it more, because it was pink inside) chicken and baked potatoes (these must be softer inside, not boiled) .. cheek (a little dry) with mashed potatoes (it was a bit sticky, mash the potatoes, don't use the mixer) .. you can see that the chef is young, because there are some things that could have turned out better, but even if the experience is lacking, the passion is there and you can always improve.. the extra virgin olive oil is exceptional.. put it on all the dishes..

14/11/2025: The octopus sandwich is delicious and exceptional. I took the classic one but there are variations with burrata and other types of sandwiches. Generous portions. Quick and cordial, and you can pair it with drinks from the fridge, beers and whatever else.

21/05/2025: I really feel like recommending this optician for his extraordinary availability and professionalism. I have very high myopia and finding a professional who knows how to deal with this type of need with competence is not always easy. In this case, however, I was followed with great attention from the very first moment. I was made glasses with Tokai 1.76 Biasferiche Lutina fine edge Super USC lenses, a very high level both in technical and aesthetic terms. Despite my significant visual defect, the lenses are incredibly thin, light and elegant in appearance, and the final result went far beyond my expectations. The doctor was able to advise me with great care and patience, answering all my questions and guiding me in the best choice for my needs. His technical expertise, combined with sincere kindness, really make the difference. Thanks again for the excellent service!

20/10/2025: Overall, it's perfectly fine. The rooms are a bit small, but nicely furnished, and everything you need is there. It's a bit surprising that you have to pay €2 for an espresso in the room. Regardless of the fact that the machine isn't easy to use and a bit dusty, I found it "too expensive." That's standard in most hotels (which are much cheaper than this one). Furthermore, it's not permitted to store your own food in the refrigerator. It's explicitly stated on the refrigerator. I've never seen that before. I find that a bit of a gimmick – there are hardly any restaurants nearby, so you can certainly put the refrigerator to good use. Overall, it's noticeable that they often put up prohibition signs. The location is special. You have a truly beautiful view of the sea, and it's very quiet. There's also direct access to the sea. It's relatively easy to walk into town or take the bus. There aren't many restaurants nearby. For us, it was a good place for a stopover. Personally, I find it a bit unsuitable for a longer stay.

19/08/2025: This place embodied what keeps Sicily from standing out above all others. A dinner for vacationers with a craving for meat. Five of us showed up and were seated at a table inside, which I was forced to appreciate, despite the heat and the mere presence of fans, since everywhere outside, people are still allowed to smoke rudely in front of those eating. People need to be legally obligated; respect and civic duty are nonexistent. Luckily, we were first to arrive, even though it was 8:00 PM. So, no delays with service. We skipped the first courses, ordering three appetizers to share and five second courses: fillets, tagliata, veal cheek, as well as a good 2017 Sicilian wine. All excellent. What's the flaw? The side dish for the two beef fillets, as per the menu, was "ash-fried potatoes"; the other three second courses included mashed potatoes. When the dishes arrived, they all contained mashed potatoes. Naturally, we prefer to eat hot, but as soon as one of the staff approaches, I ask why the side dish was changed from the menu, adding with a smile, "Maybe the chef didn't feel like making the potatoes à la citron." Unless I misunderstood, I was told the chef was on vacation and was handed the menu so I could verify what I was already sure of. Nothing more. I don't apologize for the forced change, but at least offer a half-word to justify it. Nothing at all. At the end of the dinner, I ask another woman in the dining room about it, who tells me they had a reception at lunch that messed everything up. End of excuse... But can you? If I order a pizza with chopped cherry tomatoes, can you just bring it to me with the sauce and not care? It's still tomato, right? What was the point of coming to the table before the dishes arrived and saying a few words about it? Who would have objected? Oh well, in Sicily, simmu cussi! I pay the bill, after pointing out the extra glass of wine I'd ordered before opting for the bottle, which is promptly deducted. I thank them for the excellent meat (not the side dish), say goodbye, and leave. Nothing is missing from achieving excellence. Except, perhaps, it doesn't matter. And as a native of the island, that's precisely what bothers me.
