23/07/2025: A quaint trattoria serving traditional Matera dishes. Courteous and helpful staff, a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent and the portions were absolutely generous!!! We ordered a seven-course appetizer featuring typical Matera dishes, thinking each course would be a "taster"... but in reality, each course was a truly generous meal, even for two people!!! The selection of cured meats and cheeses was also very good... Highly recommended!

25/06/2025: I was there on Sunday 22-06-2025 after my dad wanted to take us for years… I had a great time, the manager was SUPER SUPER kind and helpful. The food was excellent, I took a gnocchi with duck as a first course and veal with tuna sauce as a second course… what can I say, one better than the other, you could tell they were homemade, and the veal with tuna sauce had its amazing sauce and was cut thin, the right portions for the price it has. An experience to ABSOLUTELY DO AGAIN

15/06/2025: STAY AWAY FROM THIS "RESTAURANT". I am telling you about my experience on 06/15/2025. I booked by phone asking for the availability of bigoli, I received a positive response from the manager. I arrived on site and was greeted coldly, we explicitly ordered BIGOLI from the waiting staff, we received linguine with duck ragù. Unhappy we went to PAY (receipt not issued), and politely explained my discomfort for not having received the desired food, I added that they thought I was a foreigner and could have brought me any type of pasta. I added that I would never return there (always politely). The owner told me: "Go away", I got pissed off and I sent him outside to discuss face to face. The RABBIT 🐰 🐰 🐰, ran away to the kitchen. Human pettiness. Her collaborator and accomplice, mortified on the surface, adds: "We thought it was the same to have linguine instead of bigolo". Finally she didn't want to make me pay, I insist, I pay and I put a VERY BLACK cross. Cover charge: €3, Location not up to the mark for such a request. TO BE AVOIDED ABSOLUTELY.

01/05/2025: Not a simple dinner but a culinary experience lived in a very characteristic and at the same time very simple location. The menu offers typical local dishes, prepared with fresh, quality products. Congratulations Alessandro who, with your friendliness and hospitality, makes the stay in your restaurant pleasant and makes your guests feel pampered. Thank you !

28/06/2025: Very good food, clean and quiet environment, has tables inside not accessible by wheelchair, going down the stairs, fast service, even too much they don't wait for each other to finish their dishes, the parking space is not easy to find and is located in the center of the town next to the square,

05/08/2025: The Sicilia di Vendicari farmhouse is nestled in the Vendicari oasis. In the morning, you wake to the scent of lemons, olive trees, and fig trees, and the wind caresses you in this land full of colors and scents, thanks above all to the loving care of the owners, Antonietta, Angelo, and their mother, Maria. The villas are simple but clean and spacious. We also ate wonderfully at their restaurant, also located within the oasis. You can experience the true Sicily with authentic Sicilian dishes cooked by Maria and many desserts prepared by her daughter, Antonietta. The oasis is strategically located near Sicily's most beautiful beaches and the coolest spots. You can only get around by car, preferably a jeep. Highly recommended.

24/05/2025: Just enough time for a coffee at this establishment, super central, just a stone's throw from Piazza del Popolo. Great selection of croissants and sweets, but also savory. I noticed that the aperitifs are rich, definitely worth trying. The staff is kind and courteous. Finally, the place is modern and welcoming. Positive experience.

13/04/2025: Bisogna provare per capire di cosa si tratta . Un connubio di qualità ed attenzioni che non hanno pari. Se volete provare una cucina di gran qualità in un ambiente familiare ma incredibilmente professionale siete nel posto giusto. Abbiamo mangiato uno spaghetto con lupini e bottarga da leccarsi i baffi. Avevamo con noi una persona celiaca e sono stati magnifici. Hanno preparato un menù a doc senza rinunciare a nulla.

16/06/2025: Servizio decente ma cibo pessimo. I miei camberi non erano puliti al interno e non erano fresci. le patate fritte neanche. Il pesce del mio amico non era per niente buono. Ristorante quasi voto. Schlechtes Essen. Die Garnellen waren innen nicht gereinigt und nicht frisch. Auch der Fisch sowie die Pommes frites waren nicht frisch. Nicht zu empfehlen.

06/07/2025: I had higher expectations for the food... Excellent service and welcome, very nice that they gave me a discount on the bill... To be appreciated... We didn't get there on the kitchen though... Little attention in cooking... The courgette flowers were completely soaked in oil, so much so that the dish was all greasy... They probably weren't even swabbed when they came out... You need to be careful with this cooking because it's not good for the customer.. And I'm not talking to be a pain in the ass but I'm a woman who graduated from the academy of Italian haute cuisine so I know a lot about how you should work in the kitchen... In short, let's just say that today I don't feel very well in my stomach. Spaghetti with clams was normal

20/07/2025: We had 2 nights in July 2025. Beautiful room, with fresco. Very authentic. Cozy garden. The hostess was super sweet and welcoming, the sommelier was very knowledgeable and charming and the chef was brilliant. We had their tasting menu the first night, wonderful food, everything was really delicious. The second night we chose their vegetarian tasting menu and were blown away by a cold melon soup, it was fantastic. My warmest recommendations for both accommodation and dinner. Thank you Fif, a lovely stay

05/07/2025: My mother has been their customer for a long time, but it was my first time and I must say that it is a first time that will not be forgotten. Excellent food with excellent quality raw materials. Excellent combinations, refined, you can see that there is real attention. The environment is intimate and elegant but does not create any kind of discomfort. Excellent service

13/07/2025: Nella famosa e prestigiosa “Piazzetta” di Portofino si distingue la Trattoria Tripoli. La sede è in un angolo discreto della “Piazzetta”. Il locale dispone di vari tavoli all’aperto, che si presentano ordinati e accoglienti. Il servizio è cortese e disponibile. L’aspetto fondamentale e caratterizzante è la qualità delle preparazioni gastronomiche, ispirate alla tradizione ligure con alcune note innovative appropriate. Pranzare o cenare in questo locale è un’esperienza piacevole e stimolante.

08/06/2025: Nel ristorante la scala di Caltagirone, ho festeggiato la mia Cresima con amici e parenti, mi sono trovato benissimo, il menù scelto e consigliato dal proprietario era veramente buono. Tutti gli invitati sono rimasti contenti della bontà del cibo e dei servizi offerti.

08/06/2025: Il ristorante è ubicato ai piedi della scalinata di Caltagirone, patrimonio dell'UNESCO. È ubicato all'interno dello storico palazzo Reburdone. Ho avuto modo di apprezzare le prelibatezze culinarie in occasione di un evento familiare. L'estro dello chef e la bontà del cibo, nonché la professionalità del personale mi hanno fatto vivere bene ogni momento. Pesce freschissimo e servizio impeccabile. Consiglio a quanti lo desiderano di fare esperienza del ricco menù che lo chef propone.

26/06/2025: Great view but not-so-great customer service!!! My boyfriend and I visited this rooftop bar to enjoy some cocktails and view the sunset over the city on my birthday during our last night in Rome. When we arrived, we very quickly found out that unless you have a reservation (which they don't specify anywhere on their website site or Tripadvisor site) even if you are just going for drinks. We were sat in the general bar area with tables that were far away from the gorgeous view of the city - we could only see the view if we walked into the area where people with reservations were sat to grab a quick photo. They told us there was no availability to seat us in the better location. We noticed that everyone with reservations there that night were guests of the hotel, so they must have been informed upon check-in, but there wasn't any mention of reservations for the general public which was disappointing. The drinks were average - they were expensive for tasting not-that-much alcohol in them. To top it all off, a table of three - also without reservations - who came and sat after us inquired about moving into the area with a better view and were immediately sat. Disappointing drinks and disappointing service! I would recommend checking out one of the other rooftop bars in Rome to hopefully get a better experience of both. Edit: nowhere on their website does it mention the need for a reservation. On the hotel website it mentions “all guests” will enjoy the rooftop, but it does not explicitly mention that guests outside of the hotel require one. They need to make this clearer and more accessible if they expect non-hotel guests to understand reservations are required to enjoy the view.
