20/07/2025: I'm writing this review with a heavy heart, having never had the chance to try this restaurant. But I've been calling for reservations at all hours for five days now, and they've never, ever, answered. Again, I'm sorry, but this isn't normal. Service starts with this too...

07/07/2025: The staff is very friendly, and the pizzas are amazing! We ate there quite early and were lucky with the seating; it filled up very quickly. There's definitely enough to choose from!

29/06/2025: Food tasted great, quantity was great. Service radiated fun but not really. At one point I was sitting in the sun, I asked the waiter to lower the sunshade but no, the gentleman didn't feel like it, the sun only lasted 5 minutes. But anyway, after 20 minutes I had to move to be able to eat a bit out of the sun.

27/06/2025: Every time we are in Bellano, even passing through, it becomes an almost obligatory stop. Excellent cuisine, my father is in love with your pizzoccheri. See you soon.

26/06/2025: Very nice place especially if you eat outside, very pleasant the ride with the super automated funicular for €.2 return, the service was friendly and precise we started with aperitifs accompanied by a mixed platter all pleasant but spritz to be improved watered down and anonymous non-alcoholic cocktail, then I a fried food and for €.27 I expected more, my wife a Neapolitan pizza turned out to be more than good finally dessert raspberry ice cream cup and strudel, to the latter I give the highest rating. Overall I would have liked a more varied menu, in any case we will return.

23/06/2025: For us who have a celiac nephew it has always been a lifeline. The pizzas with or without gluten are good and original. Clean and sober environment. Discreet and always kind service.

11/05/2025: We spent a Saturday evening eating an excellent pizza, my son had the gluten-free pizza and I must say that this too was really good. Very friendly staff, welcoming environment.

24/06/2025: Absolutely the best service I have received in 12 years of living in Bologna. The food is excellent. I really appreciated the fact that the air conditioning was at the right temperature, rather than very low like most places where it feels like being in Siberia with terrible consequences for health. Let's hope it stays open for at least another 1000 years. Compliments to the impeccable staff.

13/07/2025: ⚠️ They don't serve authentic Aperol here! ⚠️ We escaped to this restaurant in the rain to have an Aperol Spritz. After not ordering food, we were told we could only stay for 20 minutes if we were just having a drink. Meanwhile, the restaurant had several free tables inside. (Even after 20 minutes, no one turned us away.) 🤷🏽‍♀️ Unfortunately, the Aperol Spritz was very bitter and not made with authentic Aperol. A shame, since you can get real Aperol in the area for the same price. The disparaging looks from the waiter were the final straw. 🥲

09/07/2025: Cozy place, delicious food. We enjoyed our meal and cold wine. The staff was polite and helped us choose dishes and drinks. Thank you!

27/06/2025: We were in Volterra to explore the city and learn a bit about its rich history. When we got hungry, we stopped at this centrally located restaurant for pizza and a drink. To drink, we ordered Coke and iced tea. The drinks we ordered were heavily diluted with water, so the taste was barely noticeable. The pizza (we had one with arugula and ham) was very lightly topped, and the arugula was very dry and old. Up until that point, the experience wasn't that good, but it was okay. When we wanted to pay, we were told that we had to pay up front and that it was cash only. The waiter handed us a calculator and said that the meal cost €10 per portion. As a side note, our meal actually cost only €28. The reason given was that the tax on the food wasn't included. Since we didn't want to get into an argument, we paid and left quickly. In retrospect, however, we quickly realized that this was a scam to scam tourists. It's a shame, because the restaurant had a really nice ambiance.

20/06/2025: Delicious pizza and drinks at great prices, and very friendly service. We went there twice during our vacation. Definitely recommend it.

12/07/2025: Alfonso and his daughter are the story, the beautiful story of this city, often denigrated in the past but fortunately exalted today. Refinement, elegance, tradition, and so much more. My grandfather came, my father came, I come, my son will come tirelessly and with love for this enchanting place!

02/07/2025: Spectacular food. Old school vibes with excellent service. You feel like you’re being greeted by family and treated like a rock star. Food is perfection.

08/07/2025: Terrible, terrible food. The best thing we had was the Pellegrino. The lasagna tasted awful. The calamari and prawn frittura had no breading or flavor, and both were over done. Even the complimentary bread sucked. We were duped by the high rating, and the fact that they were open late and near our hotel. Trash

23/07/2025: Beautiful, meticulously maintained atmosphere, excellent food made with healthy, top-quality ingredients. Extremely friendly, attentive, and efficient staff. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

10/06/2025: It was not a good experience ... the owner all-rounder, chef waiter cashier .... should accept customer criticism since he asks how the meal went. the problem is that in the evening we felt sick ... I say it was a little salty and he tells me it was tasty ... but if you are then forced to drink all day it means it was salty! Too much salt to hide what? I will definitely not return
