13/09/2025: We stayed in this historic hotel and were truly enchanted! Our room directly overlooked the splendid Borromean Islands: a dreamlike panorama, perfect for a romantic getaway. The atmosphere is welcoming and charming, with a touch of old-world elegance that makes everything even more special. A special thanks to the owner, who was incredibly kind and attentive: she recommended a truly delightful evening meal and even arranged a little surprise for my husband—a gesture we greatly appreciated and which made our stay even more memorable.

12/10/2025: Chosen by chance, we were inspired by the menu and the relaxed atmosphere, even though it was a Saturday evening. The welcome bruschetta was very pleasant, excellent in its simplicity. The appetizers were excellent, with a special mention for the fried zucchini flowers: crispy and dry. My traditional carbonara was excellent, with perfectly cooked pasta, and my friend's grilled Tuscan sausage. I finished on a high note with strictly artisanal desserts.

05/10/2025: A reliable and constant feature in the Milanese scene, where restaurants frequently close. This Tuscan-inspired osteria has endured for years and maintains a high and enjoyable standard of regional Italian cuisine. The menu features several grilled dishes, as well as daily specials featuring seasonal ingredients. The porcini mushroom risotto is excellent and worthy of a 5-star rating! The service is courteous and fast. Prices are in line with the Milanese average. The extensive selection of liqueurs and spirits is also excellent.

04/10/2025: I went there last night for dinner with a friend. A welcoming place with a family atmosphere. Fast service and very friendly staff. The food is delicious, and their signature dish is mushrooms, cooked or prepared in a variety of ways. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and the location. Highly recommended! 22/09/2025: A terrible experience, one I absolutely must not repeat. As soon as we arrived, we were seated at a table next to a door through which cold air and a constant, annoying draft blew in, with waiters constantly passing by just inches away, carrying dishes. I reported the problem, but instead of finding a solution or even acting helpful, the owner was rude and extremely impolite. Not only did she show no interest in improving the situation, but we were practically asked to leave because they had other people to seat. This was shameful treatment that showed a complete lack of respect for customers. There are so many restaurants out there; it makes no sense to waste time and money in a place that doesn't know how to welcome or treat those who come through the door. Typical behavior of someone who doesn't need anything and makes their fortune out of a total disregard for customer service! No stars for this place.

We come here often because it's truly worth it, but the service always has the same flaw: as friendly as they are, they're always incredibly slow both in taking orders and bringing them to the table, even when there's very little traffic and you're just ordering a coffee. There's always a wait at the register, too. If they improved, it would be top notch!

27/09/2025: The seafood cuisine is simply extraordinary, especially considering the price! The dishes aren't the usual classics, but they're not too imaginative to lose sight of tradition. For appetizers, we were thrilled with the monkfish bites, while for the first course, the tortelli were prepared with an extremely refined and delicate touch. At the end of the meal, before dessert, the restaurant serves each guest a chilled "Chupa Chupa" made with an infusion of mint, lime, and cucumber to cleanse the palate from the previous courses. Based on my experience, I recommend this place for a romantic dinner.

11/09/2025: I expected better, high expectations, but unfortunately, almost all of them were disappointed. As for the price, we won't be returning; the quality-price ratio isn't adequate.

05/09/2025: Really good pizzas! 🍕 My dad and I both ordered pizza, and they tasted amazing. The only thing missing is pasta. I get it – it’s a pizzeria, and they do an amazing job there – but it would have been nice to have a few more options. There was a lasagna on the menu, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available that day. The staff is super friendly, and the prices are reasonable – pretty much the same as other places in the area. So if you’re looking for a good pizza, go there! 😋

27/06/2025: Un restaurante con buenas vistas, una comida exquisita y un trato excelente. Y en cuanto al precio, un precio justo, sin ser muy barato pero tampoco me parece caro.

22/06/2025: Estamos muy contentos de que decidimos venir aquí durante nuestra corta visita a Venecia. El restaurante está en una zona más tranquila, pero a unos 5-10 minutos a pie de la estación de tren. Estábamos sentados afuera junto al canal. Parecía un lugar donde los lugareños comen también. Los servidores eran amables, la comida era genial! Tenían una buena selección de mariscos y cocina veneciana.

12/10/2025: Delicious! Homemade! Very hearty! The antipasti, sausages, and meat rolls were delicious! The pistachio cake (not too sweet!) with pistachio ice cream was amazing!

07/06/2025: Arrivati per caso in questa trattoria perché eravamo di strada e affamati. Ci accoglie il proprietario chiedendo se sappiamo come funziona questo locale. Alla nostra risposta negativa ci è stato spiegato tutto ma la sorpresa è stata quando è cominciata ad arrivare una quantità industriale di antipasti. Tutto pesce,cotto,crudo,fritto...una meraviglia! Terminati gli antipasti non siamo stati in grado di mangiare altro. Abbiamo concluso con un buon sorbetto al mandarino. Qualità ottima e gentilezza da apprezzare. Grazie!

02/07/2025: Siamo stati alla Latteria dietro consiglio e…gran consiglio!! Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Taglieri, spaghetti san giovannino, guanciale di vitello, tagliata, formaggio alla piastra. Tutto buonissimo. Se andate a Matera alla Latteria non sbagliate.

06/10/2025: I had an amazing stay - everything exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was outstanding — honestly the best I’ve ever had in Italy! The selection was excellent, freshly pressed juices, locally sourced butter and eggs, and even a great variety of breads. The hotel’s location is perfect, almost directly on the lake, and the restaurant sits right by the water, serving delicious meals. I didn’t even feel the need to try other restaurants in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers free sun loungers for guests as well as SUP boards and kayaks, which was a wonderful bonus. I would love to come back!
