28/07/2024: Trattoria-style restaurant near the center of Santa Marina. Nice location, with tables arranged on two levels, a first small courtyard and on the first floor under a patio. There are no indoor tables with air conditioning. Excellent fish, very fresh. On the kitchen side, if you ask for sliced ​​albacore make sure you ask for it medium rare, or they will practically bring you slightly seared raw fish. Another detail: The mussels taken were very good, very clean, but they had a very salty broth, the waiter justified himself by saying that the saltiness came from the mussels, but I would have expected at least a small caress on the final bill. The service was good, but here too there were some small flaws: for example, the dessert was forgotten (the waiter had to remember the order) and the squid finished after having ordered them (and we had to fall back on another dish). Overall a good experience, I would go back.

08/08/2024: We chose Dafne for our last night in Sorrento. Of the four TripAdvisor top-rated restaurants we tried, this was by far and away the best. Impeccable service, amazing food/drink and an incredible view of Sorrento. I could go on for many words about how good this restaurant is, but suffice to say, if you’re looking for a wonderful restaurant in Sorrento then this is the place to go.

31/08/2024: Feeling jet lagged and needing sleep I was ready for a clean, filling meal. I sat outside & after a brief look at the menu I ordered the seared mackerel fillets on chard. Now, Mackerel is a generally a large fish, I’ve caught them before, and yes usually they’re cut into steaks but hey, maybe they fillet them here, either way it still sounded substantial as a Secondo. The waitress was a bit taken back that I didn’t want anything else, and that I knew what I wanted so soon. I was then left with an empty table until the meal was ready to be served when there was a rush to set the table. Then the real disappointment began. There were slivers of fish atop a small green pile. How someone didn’t throw this fish back is beyond me, but they managed to scrape off a few tiny fillets, then fry them to death & lay them on top of the soggy greens. I was shocked that this is their idea of secondo, however I did push on with the dream of sleep so near. To cut the fish was a toll in itself, so dry having been cooked for far too long. And would you believe no seasoning at all. Actually nothing. The chard (I think that’s what they called the green pile underneath), also completely void of any flavour. This is by far, hands down the least satisfying meal of my life. Overcooked, tasteless and tiny. Oh and to top it off, it was €19.50 for the displeasure. There are many, many restaurants in Rome. I’d suggest trying any other one for a better experience.

23/08/2024: The food here is very tasty, the cost was super reasonable even in euros. We ordered the carbonara, fettuccine Gamberi & zucchini - ( has shrimp) in it. Was very good 👍 the bread was tasty.

26/07/2024: Dough: with semolina? Not exactly "light", you can like it or not, it's not a "traditional" pizza. All good ingredients, but if there aren't fresh cardoncelli mushrooms, why do you serve them as fresh? If the sorbets aren't ready, why are you making me wait for them to freeze in the freezer? The service was a little distracted and detached, yet there weren't many people, perhaps the tiredness of the day was making itself felt. Prices are not exactly light: you have to pay for quality, but sometimes you exaggerate a little... Does the location make you forget everything else? No. Beautiful place, near the cathedral, but overall this pizzeria has lights and shadows. Different dough, good ingredients, but, for my taste, it is not the pizzeria I would recommend to friends who stop in Bitonto.

10/07/2024: I've tried better places in my country, not to mention the location, I ate on the lower floor and you can't imagine the stale air. After eating I asked if they had liquorice liqueur, and not having it I joked I said to the waiter, then I won't come here to eat anymore, he replied in an arrogant tone, ma'am, if you don't come we'll still work. First is last time. It was winter and I ate in the lower room and I remember where I eat.

17/08/2024: 2 adults and 2 children (11 & 14). We had not made a reservation in advance despite the public holiday in Italy. Arrived at 7:30 PM and kindly asked the waiter if there was still enough room for the 4 of us because there was no reservation. This was no problem at all. We received the menu immediately and our drinks were delivered quickly. Bottle of wine and bottle of water. Because we didn't know what to eat yet, we were given plenty of time to do so. Our order: antipasti 2 x melon with ham and meat carpaccio. The waiter even asked the son (without a starter) if he wanted to eat his main meal with us or wait for our main meal. Main meal pasta carbonara, the tastiest so far according to the daughter. Filet steak with pepper sauce and fries, very tasty and properly cooked. Fillet steak without sauce but there was more lettuce because there was no sauce, also super tender and tasty. Grilled Angus burger with fries, also tasty. During the hustle and bustle, the waiter could even make a joke to the son. Very good service and very attentive. Always served quickly, great. Recommended.

11/08/2024: Delicious food, very nice service and a great atmosphere. A very tasty Italian. We ate here twice with our children (13, 16 and 18) and they also liked it very much. The spaghetti alia olio (the classic) was very popular. That was really good. The rib eye was tender and very tasty. The wine excellent and the tiramisu very good. The staff is very nice! Thank you.

23/08/2024: Very bad. We ordered two peppered mussels as an appetizer. They arrived cold and shriveled. We did not consume them and complained to the owner who specified that he would not include them in the bill. And instead, not only did he make us pay 24 euros for them, but to make up for the obvious fool, he gave us a discount of 5 euros!!!!!! And he didn't give us the receipt. I will never go back again and I invite anyone who reads this review to do the same. Terrible and rude

22/08/2024: During my 5 day staying in Napoli I ‘ve been 3 times at Luigi’s family restaurant “è pront o mangiá”…The menu is fantastic… absolutely delicious food! Situated in via Cesare Rosaroll at San Lorenzo district very close to Piazza Garibaldi…amazing plates, typical Italian cuisine made with love ❤️ Luigi and his family SPACCANO DI BRUTTO…strongly recommended!!!

09/08/2024: Canned mushrooms were used on my Pizza Fungi! The dough was great but the cheese was also cheap. The view and service are great, but because of the canned mushrooms I would like to accuse the chef of treason against Italian cuisine.

08/08/2024: We had octopus with mozzarella, olives and tomatoes, bark with prawns, both fantastic dishes! The children had pizza which was also very good. Fantastic location

25/06/2024: Very attractive location with a beautiful internal room and a more "spartan" outside part. Popular prices. Personally not very satisfied with the service due to an error in the flat request. Long waits at the busiest times (understandable).

We ordered local dishes from the menu – Orecchiette with broccoli rabe and Fried seafood specialty, and additionally we got deliciously prepared Antipasti: mussels and octopus – we have never eaten such good mussels in our lives. A restaurant with a local atmosphere, located outside the center, but with great food and friendly service. I highly recommend it to people who want to try really real and delicious cuisine of Puglia. Thank you for your hospitality and greetings from home in Poland.
