14/07/2024: In occasione della vacanza in Sicilia abbiamo mangiato in questo locale nella splendida cornice di Siracusa. Parliamo di una trattoria dove lo chef e titolare del locale realizza delle portate tradizionali eseguite splendidamente. La ricerca delle materie prime e molto curata e particolarmente sentita perché richiama l'etica del titolare ed è il fondamento dei piatti del ristorante. Il prezzo estremamente competitivo in relazione alla qualità e alla ricerca che abbiamo trovato nelle nostre pietanze La cucina è tipica e prevalentemente a base di pesce. Ancora complimenti, grazie per la bella esperienza.

13/08/2024: We are practically at the entrance to the historic center, really 2 steps from Porta Garibaldi, therefore the perfect location and it would be a 5 star restaurant, if an excellent customer welcome, more than excellent service, and extreme availability towards needs and courtesy were enough, but unfortunately a restaurant is also and above all judged by its food and here, perhaps because expectations were high, it disappointed us a bit, as highlighted by others, something is missing, they have excellent material that they are unable to valorise, the cous cous which should be the main dish: mediocre, it lacks that note to make it special, the octopus ditto, and let's not go any further, you can certainly do much better, this is meant to be an incentive to improve, perhaps the fact of having to serve many customers takes away that extra attention to the dishes is essential, we have not highlighted any particular critical issues for some types of disabilities, finding parking in the area is difficult but not impossible, prices in line

06/08/2024: I recommend it wholeheartedly, the restaurant is run by the whole family, parents and children. Fish have no secrets from them. The food is amazing and worth the price. The combination of flavors and freshness makes this restaurant feel like heaven. They specialize in fish and seafood. If you are in Sicily, this is a point on the map you must visit

30/08/2024: The environment is beautiful and welcoming. Don't let the term "cascina" be misleading, it is a quality fish restaurant located in an old, wonderfully renovated Lombard farmhouse. The quality of the products and the service are paid for in economic terms, however not disproportionately, especially if you don't overdo it with the extensive wine list where the offer can lead to truly expensive bottles. Update 2024: Francesco is always an excellent host.

10/08/2024: Located a stone's throw from busy Cassanese, you will feel like you are entering another world. Inside the historic farmhouse you will find an elegant, welcoming environment and excellent food. I recommend the Catalan octopus and prawns, and the paccheri with lobster. Prices high but in relation to the quality. Definitely worth trying.

30/08/2024: Good as usual except this time for the chef's ham, please don't put the 1 or 1.5 euro cicchetti inside displayed outside at the counter anymore.

03/08/2024: Very particular place, with an unconditioned veranda, overlooking Isola Bella. If it's not windy you suffer a bit from the heat. Dishes not up to the price paid, 2 first courses, 1 second course, half a bottle of wine and a dessert (which arrived half the price compared to the next table...€), total: 99

21/08/2024: We chose the restaurant based on Google Maps. Even though there were 8 of us, we got a table right at 7 p.m. The waiter really enjoys his job and looked after us very well. The food was excellent and we can only recommend this. Thank you for the great evening.

09/08/2024: Discovered by chance while wandering around Lake Garda, it was an excellent surprise, we stopped for dinner and everything was of excellent quality and very good, the service was also excellent, we will definitely be back to stay there too

01/07/2024: Un ristorante che vorrebbe essere gourmet ma non ci riesce. Bisogna diffidare dei ristoranti che ti danno il benvenuto dello chef, l’ormai desueto assaggino che dovrebbe conquistare la simpatia del cliente. In questo caso si trattava di un pezzetto di sgombro poco cotto che ci ha lasciato in bocca il suo sgradevole sapore per tutta la durata della cena. Il resto è da dimenticare: in posti come questi si può solo rimpiangere un piatto di pasta al sugo, cucinato senza inutili pretese.

12/05/2024: Bello il dehor dove abbiamo pranzato in occasione di un battesimo e buono il cibo. Purtroppo una nota stonata: l’attenzione nei confronti dei celiaci. Nel 2024 un po’ di pane, anche confezionato, o di grissini gluten free non si possono non avere. Inoltre molte delle portate non idonee avrebbero potuto benissimo essere preparate con ingredienti senza glutine, come mi è capitato in altre occasioni. Un aspetto non all’altezza del ristorante che gli ha fatto perdere qualche punto.

10/07/2024: Il posto è particolare, buona l'accoglienza, ma la carne, che è la specialità della casa, troppo cotta e le tagliatelle, se pur artigianali, non ben amalgamate con il condimento.

23/08/2024: Posto accogliente, e cibo ottimo. Tagliere di salumi e formaggi che merita 10 stelle. Insieme al tagliere consigliato le tagliatelle a “fantastici” funghi porcini. Proprietario accogliente e affabile.

23/08/2024: Posto molto carino nel centro storico di Spello, personale molto gentile e amichevole. Meno ampio con molte delle specialità tipiche umbre, e soprattutto cucina molto buona!
