08/06/2025: The place is beautiful and characteristic, even if it doesn't seem very accessible to me... The good premises of the place were not fully satisfied by the presence of a rat that was walking undisturbed on the electric wires, with light bulbs to illuminate the tables, right above the heads of the customers... Sitting down for dinner. I fully understand the situation, but it shouldn't happen... The pizzas seemed to be tasty, but the grill left much to be desired: cold and quantitatively limited. They brought us fried food twice... A sign of poor communication and organization, despite the technology used... Let's say that it would be worth trying again to understand, rat aside, if the experience was linked to a particular evening, a one-off, or if it is a deep-rooted attitude. We need to give it another chance!!! Highly recommended the -rat dinner- to enjoy a moment of shivering along the spine.

14/06/2025: Giuseppe e tutti i suoi collaboratori ti fanno sentire accolto in famiglia, con calore e simpatia. Piatti della cucina tradizionale, nessun fronzolo,tanta sostanza. Siamo tornati due volte nel nostro breve soggiorno a Ceglie. Cibo e servizio genuini e autentici.

19/06/2025: We had an unpleasant experience here today: We were staying next door at the Hotel Emma. The kitchen was closed there today, and the reception recommended the Adler Restaurant. The restaurant was busy, but most of the tables outside were still free. So we ordered an Aperol Spritz outside and asked for the menu at the same time. We got the Spritz, but not the menu. Within half an hour, we asked for the menu twice more. In the end, they said the kitchen was at full capacity and we couldn't get dinner right now. We wanted to wait. But after another 10 minutes, the staff told us there would be nothing for us later either. Sorry, but the communication was terrible. There was no noticeable effort from the staff. PS: It would be nice if the hoteliers in the area would coordinate with each other.

18/03/2025: It's hard to describe this hotel in a few words.. But this hotel has a soul and something that you won't find anywhere else.. you want to stay here, you want to come back here.. romantically by the fireplace, sipping wine..

18/05/2025: A very nice hotel (18 rooms) with an attached restaurant. A lovely garden with small seating areas, enclosed with plants, invites you to linger. Your car is parked in a private space in the underground garage of the neighboring supermarket.

14/06/2025: A great find on this trip to Lake Garda. The food quality was unexpected, with the table side plating by the experience waiters amazing. Turbot and lamb were very good. The tiramisu is a must try.

08/06/2025: I went there last night with my partner, we found it by chance looking for a place to have dinner on Google Maps. Even though we called a quarter of an hour before we were supposed to be there, they found us a really nice table outside. We arrived at sunset and the atmosphere was really beautiful because the restaurant is a pearl set in this small village. We had two crostini as an appetizer, mine was vegetarian, delicious. Then two very good first courses, finally a super chocolatey dessert and a whiskey. To drink, a bottle of water and half a liter of house red wine and we spent a total of €56.00. The quality/price ratio was really really great! Now you don't eat so well anywhere else for so little. We highly recommend it and if we ever find ourselves in those parts again we will definitely go back. A very positive note, the very nice staff!!! Especially the guy who served us who was kind, helpful and very nice, he made us feel at ease and not like we were a nuisance, as unfortunately happens more and more often in various restaurants. Very good!!!

08/06/2025: Simply unmatched in quality/price ratio! unique location and venue of the staff I think that if everyone in the world was so kind and friendly, we would live in a better place excellent and cheap food (and lots of choice!) What can I say, I live 600km from here but it has conquered a place in my heart 🥹🖤

21/06/2025: Very great restaurant! Last year, we often visited this place for dinner, this year, they got even better. The spaghetti with truffle and cheese is absolutely mind-blowing delicious, and so are their desserts! Not only do they taste good, but they also present their dishes nicely. I highly recommend this place, it also isn't very expensive. :)

19/06/2025: The absolute recommendation. The ravioli in peanut pesto is a reason to drive 400km from Munich. The filetto con rosemary is as tender as a baby's bottom. And the potatoes are incredibly crispy and delicious. Oh, and yesterday I had the salmon fillet with lemon and caper butter. From a professional perspective...I'm a chef...it was 110% perfectly cooked, well-rested, and served. I had to buy the kitchen drinks. This kind of thing deserves a reward. Go there. It costs €2 more than all the pizzerias...but that's exactly what makes it special! There's no pizza!

25/06/2025: Typical trattoria, with a simple atmosphere, which offers traditional dishes. The service is fast, but a bit anonymous. Compared to the atmosphere, the price seemed a little expensive, but the dishes were plentiful: for two first courses, two second courses, two desserts, 3/4 of house wine, water and coffee €91

24/06/2025: It is a typical simple and sober trattoria with many rooms, the cuisine is typical of Ferrara and traditional, the menu is spoken by the waiter. The service is fast and the staff is kind. We had as a first course the pasticcio di maccheroni and casarecce with mutton ragù: generous portions. As a second course the mixed bollini and the excellent and abundant beef fillet with porcini mushrooms. The portions are abundant, but we were tempted by the zuppa inglese which is truly remarkable. The house wine is good, a very respectable Sangiovese. The price is in line with what we ate (€95 for two). We will return.

03/06/2025: My review remains positive Piadina good both the normal dough and the wholemeal one. Good quality products Good service also for their kindness and availability. Good price. (You can pay both in cash and by card) Outdoor area with tables (I hope they add more,).

26/06/2025: Our first visit to this restaurant exceeded my wife's and my expectations, as some reviews were somewhat sparse or negative. We were greeted and served with a very warm ❤️ by the staff. The place is very beautiful, with a garden in the courtyard, and the restrooms are clean. Our meal was simply delicious, and the house rosé wine was excellent. And to finish off, we received a shot of schnapps on the house—the first time since our vacation and in the many restaurants we've eaten at in Sicily. Based on our experience, we can highly recommend this restaurant. It's not to be missed.

Mrs. Martina, granddaughter of a hospitality pioneer, will welcome you to her beautiful home and offer you peace and silence if you are looking for that, a gourmet dinner served in the garden and washed down with good wine if you feel like delighting your palate or, you can simply sit down and listen to the birds while admiring the vineyards of the surrounding hills. I wish everyone an experience at Bacco d'Oro!
