16/11/2025: Delizioso! Outstanding meal from start to finish. The veal, especially, was perfect.

05/11/2025: The atmosphere is refined, elegant, and welcoming. The dishes aren't overly elaborate, the pasta is fresh, and the staff is friendly and smiling. If I had to find anything negative, it would only be the prices. It's true that we're in a high-quality, elegant place, but I think it should be 10-15% cheaper to be perfect.

03/12/2025: I didn’t have the chance to experience the food, as I arrived at 7:15 am after seeing on Google that breakfast opened at 7:00 am, only to be met with an unexpectedly rude reception. When I first asked at the hotel reception, a staff member informed me that the restaurant was open but that I needed to use the front entrance rather than the hotel entrance—which was completely fine. I mentioned that the front door wasn’t opening, and she appeared go to address it. I returned to wait outside with my 4-month-old baby and 3yo in the cold. After five minutes with no update, I went back to reception, only to find the door closed and to be met with abrupt, dismissive behaviour from another staff member. I explained that the door still wasn’t opening, and he replied that if it wasn’t open, they “weren’t ready yet,” and I would simply need to wait. When I said I would just go elsewhere, he seemed entirely unconcerned and shut the door in my face. If the opening time is listed as 7:00 am on Google and communicated as such to guests, it’s unclear why the response was so rude and unhelpful. My family and I would have happily visited more often during our time in Florence. What made the experience especially disappointing is that my husband and I stayed at the hotel before having children and loved our stay, but this visit has made us realise how judgemental they are because we weren’t guests. Honestly outraged at the behaviour and as somebody that works in the industry, will be sure to spread the word.

26/06/2025: A real surprise from Paolo e F.lli in Acquaviva! I tried the stuffed panzerotto, truly spectacular: crunchy on the outside, stringy and tasty on the inside, prepared with care and quality ingredients. The white pizza with buffalo mozzarella and raw ham alla caprese was an explosion of freshness and taste: light and well-cooked base, creamy buffalo mozzarella, sweet raw ham and perfect cherry tomatoes. Balanced, tasty, simply delicious. And to finish, a fragrant and well-seasoned arancino: tasty but not heavy, one of the best I've ever tried in the area. Fast and friendly service, fair prices. A must-see for those who love street food made with heart and quality.

04/12/2025: Nice hotel — but a baffling and frustrating experience at the front desk. At check-in, we were greeted not with a welcome, but with a banner about a “gratitude payment” — essentially a voluntary tip scheme. Since we were only staying one night and had no meaningful interaction with staff, I called to opt out. I was told they would “check my bill” to make sure it was removed. Next morning? Still there. I was already on a business call while my family tried to check out, and instead of handling it smoothly, the staff insisted payment had to be made with a physical card. Out of patience, I tapped my phone — and it worked instantly. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. For a hotel claiming five stars, this felt more like amateur hour. Good service isn’t about surprise “gratitude fees” — it’s about communication, competence, and knowing when to get out of the way so guests can enjoy their stay — and actually get on with their planned journey without unnecessary friction. Edit: funny answer - did they even READ my post? I did call them the day before and it was still on the invoice.

01/12/2025: Beautifully decorated and clean hotel. Great breakfast and location. Unfortunately, the management falls short on customer service. We were “upgraded” to this hotel immediately after booking the neighbouring hotel, which we selected specifically for its spa. Nowhere was it communicated that the spa was unavailable at either hotels - from the time of booking right up until check in. At check in, the staff did not offer any compensatory or complimentary services to make up for this lack of critical communication.

03/11/2025: The daily specials offered verbally weren't priced and were much more expensive than the menu items. The bruschetta (about the size of a bread roll) cost a whopping €30. The food was good, but far too expensive!

08/12/2025: We were there 2 days ago. The atmosphere was welcoming and the food was excellent. My first course was with porcini mushrooms and pancetta, as was the sliced ​​steak with radicchio and walnuts. The service was quick, and they also have gluten-free options. I highly recommend it.

06/09/2025: It was close to the hotel where we were staying, and we decided to try it. It has a lovely little terrace and a unique garden that gives it a magical feel. We ordered a sharing dish (fish carpaccio), very fresh and light, and then a pasta dish. I chose the Penne in Cream of Gamberi, and it was a hearty and flavorful dish. It was my choice to try something different.

06/09/2025: This is worth visiting when on holiday in Pula. We had twice dinner in one week and the taste and quality were superb. Instead of other reviews: the price is much better than at our nearby hotel. Recommended and do try the homemade cheesecake for dessert!

01/12/2025: We stayed only one night. The room was very small for four, but it was well-maintained and definitely clean. It's a shame that the shower, besides having a weak stream, didn't have hot enough water (the outside temperatures are close to freezing). The restaurant offers tasty, authentic dishes, truly excellent. Breakfast was limited, but with quality products. The owners were kind and helpful, as was the waiter (perhaps a little too friendly and "confidential," which might bother some, but not us). I would gladly return, hoping they'll fix a few details.

09/10/2025: We came back for a special birthday, always a great, intimate and welcoming atmosphere! The menu is impeccable, not too many courses but an excellent selection, with truly high-quality first and second courses! As always, a confirmation.
