23/11/2025: Very nice historic place. Four of us had dinner, ordering a first course each, three desserts, and a bottle of wine. We spent just under €40 each, which was too much for the quality of the food. My linguine with clams dish was flavorless; even though I tried hard, I couldn't taste the clams at all; they seemed fake. Given how much they charge for the dishes, the ingredients should be top-quality, and that's not the case. The risotto wasn't cooked properly and wasn't creamy. It's a shame because the place is truly very characteristic.

29/09/2025: Delicious dishes. Everything is fresh and top-notch. Contrary to some negative reviews, the menu is clear and concise, the waiters speak multiple languages, and our questions were answered patiently and thoroughly. We paid for the dishes as described on the menu. I highly recommend it; it's a perfect place for a date. P.S. My husband says hello to the waiter from Albania.

18/12/2025: I was there recently to celebrate my anniversary with my boyfriend. The waiter was super friendly and greeted us and guided us through each course. The inside was quite crowded and therefore a bit cramped, but luckily they have tables outside in the heated area, where you can spread out more and have conversations without shouting. Our appetizer was fried zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta and burrata, followed by a first course of gnocchi in bava, and a second course of tuna with a side of baked potatoes. Everything was delicious and very carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and the dishes were truly delicious. One of those places that makes you want to return even just for a pizza. The desserts were a bit mediocre, but good overall. Excellent value for money. I recommend booking.

12/12/2025: We recently had the pleasure of celebrating our company Christmas lunch at this restaurant, and the experience was absolutely superb in every way, especially considering it was a weekday lunch break with a large group (27 people). The staff deserves honorable mention for their exceptional availability and professionalism. They knew we were under tight schedules and worked hard to make the service as seamless as possible. One gesture we greatly appreciated was the daily menu being sent out that morning, allowing us to take orders in advance. This eliminated any waiting once we arrived, a crucial detail for a business lunch. Despite our large number of guests, an entire room was reserved for us, ensuring privacy, space, and the perfect setting for our celebration. The food arrived surprisingly quickly, and everything was perfectly hot and delicious. The quality of the dishes was excellent, a true pleasure for everyone involved. In short: If you're looking for a venue capable of handling a corporate event (even a large one under tight deadlines) with maximum efficiency, impeccable organization, and excellent cuisine, this is the place. Highly recommended!

03/12/2025: The tranquility of winter, coupled with the perfect weather today, was breathtaking. Waking up to a misty, ethereal landscape was captivating. The calls of waterbirds added a touch of life. After sunrise, the water and sky merged seamlessly, reflecting everything on the lake. This is just a photo taken with a regular phone – a true paradise on earth! The cake the owner baked for us had a flavor I'd never tasted in China before. The sweetness was just right, not cloying, with a hint of citrus. At that moment, I didn't want any other flavor to overpower it. A true gem!

18/11/2025: A place full of "friendliness" in the sense that I've never seen the staff sullen; the girls are always cheerful and smiling, always ready with a polite joke. For an appetizer, we chose a fried fish to nibble on while we waited for the main course, which they cook truly beautifully: the padellaccio. A quick and simple pizza split between four to quell any remaining hunger, very good wines, but the "gem" of the place, a jazz band that played all evening. To say they were excellent is an understatement. In any case, it was a cheerful and fun evening that we will definitely repeat soon.

02/12/2025: We visited this restaurant during a village festival. The location was fantastic, the food excellent, and the service friendly and knowledgeable. The passatelli with truffles was fantastic, and the prices were average for the type of food served.

22/11/2025: We had high expectations but were disappointed on all fronts. The food didn't live up to the price and quality one would expect. The dishes were obviously pre-cooked, something you wouldn't find in a cafeteria. The cuttlefish appetizer was cold and tasteless. For example, the lasagna was so tough, because it was pre-cooked and reheated, that I would have had to use a hacksaw to cut it. A shame, a total disappointment.

02/11/2025: Fantastic Florentine steak at fair prices. Very friendly staff. Besides Florentine steak, you can try all the local specialties, from pecorino to pici. The restaurant is located in the heart of the historic center.

07/12/2025: An excellent seafood restaurant. Excellent value for money. The only thing to note about the menu is that it's not very varied. We've been dining at Trinchetto quite frequently for several years, but the dishes have remained virtually unchanged. The restaurant is small but well-maintained.

23/11/2025: The restaurant was recommended to us by a local restaurateur because we wanted to eat good fresh fish in a place not frequented by tourists. The experience was very positive; we were greeted by Massimo, who immediately showed us to our table and suggested we start with his appetizers. We tried raw shrimp, mussels au gratin, fried fish, and raw anchovies... all very good, fresh, and plentiful. We then decided to continue with two first courses: spaghetti with squid ink and their signature dish, spaghetti with sea urchin pulp, both impeccable. Finally, they brought us two delicious sorbets. To accompany the entire dinner, we enjoyed a delicious Anthilia from Donnafugata. The cost of the dinner was more than justified by the quantity and quality of the food, including a bottle of wine at a great price. Totalling €70 for two people.
