18/01/2026: One of our favorite breakfast spots during our two weeks of master's degree. The waitress was super helpful and kind!

16/12/2025: Rude staff, they don't even greet you often, thank you, good morning, nothing... The coffee is average, a little burnt; sometimes they forget it under the machine, and it's served so cold.

08/01/2026: Originally a pizzeria by the slice, they later added a very simple but charming space and started serving pizza by the plate and "maxi" pizzas, meaning a pizza for two people with four different toppings to try different combinations. Excellent service and medium-low prices. I paid €57 for two pizzas, a sweet one with orange and vernelli, a bottle of water, and a liter of beer, which is excellent these days. Thin and crispy pizza, just the right toppings, and a light dough. Recommended, we'll definitely be back.

05/01/2026: For years, it's been a go-to place for pizza in Morrovalle. Although lately... the pizza has gotten worse. In the last week, I've had pizzas there on two different days: once, and the other day, mixed slices. The pizzas were dry, very dry. The dough wasn't bad per se, but way too dry. There wasn't enough tomato (on the Margherita pizzas) and cheese, and it was sometimes au gratin (on the 4-cheese pizzas, which are supposed to be quite creamy). The result was a potentially good pizza, but it was seriously overcooked (and too lightly topped, not enough toppings to restore moisture). On the second occasion, the slices had the exact same problem: the pizza was overcooked, and the Rosemary pizza (which had no toppings) practically crumbled like bruschetta. It's a shame because the pizza has always been good, but lately it's had this problem that "takes the flavor away," haha. Having said that, it's still worth stopping by because the place and the management are worth the visit (and I'm sure the dry cooking/dough problem is a temporary one)

09/11/2025: Excellent traditional local dishes in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Generous portions and friendly, prompt service. Prices are in line with the restaurant's character.

12/10/2025: An old-fashioned osteria, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

26/09/2025: I dined at this seafood restaurant with a familiar yet elegant atmosphere. Carmen's kindness, friendliness, and professionalism contributed to the pleasantness of the evening. The dishes were excellent. They used authentic, fresh ingredients with minimal sauces to fully appreciate the flavor of the fish. Bruschetta with olive oil was a truly rich and flavorful cold appetizer. Two grilled soles with buttered potatoes and truffles. Pecorino white wine, and to finish, an excellent tiramisu. Good value. I'll definitely be returning. Compliments to the chef.

23/09/2025: The restaurant features simple, mixed-style furnishings (modern chairs, pillars adorned with 1980s-style wooden coverings, antique paintings and chandeliers). The menu features only fish-based dishes, and the selection is varied (while still strictly pescatarian): there are 6-7 options per course. I tried the grilled fish and vegetables and was pleasantly surprised. The staff is friendly. Prices tend to be on the high side (a grilled dish costs €35 and includes 1 shrimp, 1 langoustine, half a turbot fillet, a small piece of squid, and 1 scallop). I'd recommend it for the food... less so for the price.

10/11/2025: We were there this evening, the pizza isn't bad either but the service is really terrible, specifically while we were still eating the waitress started cleaning the tables with detergent creating an unbearable "odor" in an already small space, really awful.

03/11/2025: You have to go here every now and then. The pizza is good, and best of all, you can choose from three different flours to make your pizza dough. The place is small, so if you go on weekends, it's best to make a reservation.

11/12/2025: 33cl water €1.50 I find the predatory attitude of selling 33cl cans of water for €1.50 embarrassing, no doubt touting it as environmentally friendly "because they're more recyclable than bottles." But if we truly cared about the environment, we'd use a water purifier. Here, we only care about our wallets. Otherwise, the food is good; the breakfast staff makes you feel like you're not welcome.

08/12/2025: Very good brioches, yes, but... considering the prices, they should also improve the service, which is instead poor, with indifferent staff... there is only one polite and smiling girl, for the rest not even simple information on the menu... they invite you to consult the Instagram page when they are there free and they could explain it to you verbally in less than a minute (there were not even people there, it was almost empty). I go there because in Civitanova they definitely have the best and most delicious pastries, but I strongly recommend raising the tone of the service, which should be consistent with the prices.

23/09/2025: Very good pizza, very kind and polite people, easy going pizza, if I have to go down I only stop by theirs, they are good, even the first courses are sublime, I highly recommend it

15/01/2026: €15 menu. First course, grilled meat with two side dishes. Wine, water, and coffee. Everything was good and plentiful. Since I'm celiac, I had to bring my own pasta (which they cooked well) and bread. Worth it! Simple but nice lunch spot. The only negative is the very small and slightly shabby bathroom.

20/12/2025: Everything was delicious. After the appetizers and first courses, we were very full, so we moved on to dessert. We'll definitely be back. The only flaw was the service, which, although impeccable, was a bit slow. All in all, EVERYTHING WAS VERY GOOD.

23/12/2025: An excellent bakery that, despite its small size, offers its customers traditional, time-honored baking using top-quality flours. The pizzas, focaccias, and desserts are also delicious. The staff is welcoming and professional. The prices are also quite fair. Kudos to the owner.

24/07/2025: We wanted to have an aperitivo in Macerata, and reading the reviews, it seemed to be the best place in town. Too bad that at 7:30 pm on a Thursday in July, with only one table already seated, we waited 10 minutes without even being acknowledged. Maybe next time!

11/12/2025: For me it’s one of the best places to take a slice of pizza in all cvt. I use to try pizzerias in different towns but here the pizza and the service it’s always great here! You can not paid with card but it’s fine, 100% recommended

15/02/2026: The best smell in Civitanova is finally back! After its forced closure, Il Pollo d'Oro remains the undisputed number 1. Succulent chicken, perfectly crispy skin, and a friendly service that makes you feel right at home. If you're in the area, follow the scent: you can't go wrong. Welcome back, we missed you! All summer, passing by the street, I'd seen this wood burning with the roast chickens. The day before yesterday, I decided to stop and order a chicken for the evening. What can I say? I found two fantastic, polite, and helpful guys. They recommended the chicken that best matched my requests, so not too stringy and obviously good. 😉 I went home and looked for reviews, and I really couldn't understand why. Why do people have to behave like this? I found a place different from the one described by the reviewers (luckily few). I found kind, humane people, even willing to crack a joke, a nice, clean environment, a lovely chicken shop with other products as well. And above all, a smile, which is not a given!! But let's get to the chicken. That evening, I picked up the chicken and I promise I'll write a review whether it was good or not!! What can I say? The chicken was FABULOUS!! It took me back to my childhood when I ate chicken in Sicily!!! The roast potatoes are even better!! I'll be back soon; you'll become my go-to chicken shop!!! Well done, guys!! Highly recommended!!!!!

21/08/2025: Nice, but unfortunately hygiene isn't the rule. I've seen women making sandwiches, tramezzini without gloves after touching their hair and much more. What a shame.

20/08/2025: Giorgio, the owner, is a very kind and helpful guy. During our bicycle pilgrimage to Rome, we stopped in Camerino. We arrived hungry around 2:00 PM and enjoyed hot sandwiches and focaccia, beer, and coffee. After a little chat, we agreed to return the next morning at 6:30 AM (it opens at 6:00 AM) for breakfast before leaving: impeccable service, fresh pastries, and great prices! I hope to return!
