21/08/2025: The Tesoro Hotel-Restaurant in Caldarola is a modern, welcoming establishment equipped with all the comforts to make guests feel at home. The room I was assigned was clean, with a large, very comfortable double bed and a bathroom with a truly spacious shower. The welcome and helpfulness of the manager, Mrs. Pontoni, immediately made me realize I was in the right place. This was confirmed in the evening, when I dined at the restaurant: simple yet carefully prepared and, above all, very tasty dishes. I ordered fusilli with pesto, roast suckling pig, salad, a 1/2 liter of red wine, bread, water, dessert, and, to finish, a limoncello. All at a truly fair price: €22. The morning breakfast was continental: simple but good. In short, for anyone passing through the area, the Tesoro Hotel is an excellent choice for both a short stay and a business trip.

18/07/2025: Di tanto in tanto vengo in questo posto paradisiaco, rimanendo sempre piu travolto dalle sue inesorabili sorprese !!! Sono stato qui sia domenica scorsa, che oggi, e stavolta sono rimasto colpito particolarmente da Lucia, colei che si occupa sia della sala, che della reception, compiti sicuramente in un contesto del genere, di non semplice amministrazione ! Lucia e veramente una ragazza speciale, travolgente , dotata di freschezza mentale, gran dinamismo, e soprattutto di contatto umano, una dote straordinaria che lei sfoggia, attraverso una solarità ed una simpatia, che riflettono tutta la sua naturale bellezza, mescolata agli inebrianti profumi del posto !!!!! Grande intuito e velocità d' azione, completano le sue grandi capacita, rivelando il talento, in un autentica seduzione che veramente lascia ipnotizzati i clienti !!! Spettacolo !!!! Solo le casette, possono regalare emozioni del genere !!!!!!

22/06/2025: Una bellissima scoperta! Abbiamo mangiato davvero benissimo: piatti abbondanti, pasta fatta in casa e carne di ottima qualità. La ricotta era semplicemente favolosa, e i dolci? Uno più buono dell’altro! Il posto è accogliente, curato e molto pulito, con tavoli grandi e comodi per mangiare in pieno relax. Le portate sono arrivate in tempi brevi e il servizio è stato sempre gentile e attento. Prezzi più che onesti per la qualità e la quantità offerta: direi medio-bassi. Ci torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo a chi cerca buona cucina in un ambiente genuino e rilassante.

02/02/2026: Either I didn't notice, or the prices really are like that, or something's wrong. 80 euros for 5 dishes and 4 covers. 2 salads, 2 turkeys, and 1 pasta dish split between two girls. Oh yes, the quarter of the house red. My fault for not saying anything, but I was in a hurry to get home because of the kids.

28/02/2026: Great experience, a great new addition. Beautiful venue surrounded by greenery, with a rustic feel. Fast service even when the place was full, shame about the parking. I went for the pizza, and it was fantastic—thin and well-topped with excellent ingredients. Congratulations!

The appetizers were paltry, not what they used to be, bruschetta was absent, cold cuts were neither good nor bad, unseasoned farro from days ago, beans were nothing special. The first courses were very salty, the duck sauce inedible, tagliatelle were raw, and gnocchi were so hard and full of flour that we almost choked on them. The suckling pig in beer was dry and stringy, so hard to swallow. I hate to give a negative review, but that's the way it is. Years ago, the food was divine, but not anymore. Ahh Ps. 25/11/2025: I read all the positive reviews, maybe Sunday was a bad day, maybe they are not used to large groups (42 people), we were crowded and wedged in that it would have been enough to set an extra table to be comfortable and better manage the diners, the food was poor in quantity, good cold cuts, first course good tasty ravioli with radicchio and truffle, tagliatelle overcooked and with a slow and tasteless sauce, second course pork and cold cold side dishes and very poor quantity and quality, the best was having a gluten-free menu booked well in advance left without a first course because it was not available, a risotto with the ravioli sauce would have been enough (since it was only intolerances and not celiac disease there was not even the problem of contamination in this case). Too bad!!!

Delicious pizza with a high crust and excellent leavening, rich, top-quality ingredients and toppings, fabulous beer, top-quality and expertly tapped. I loved everything: the staff, the owner, everyone was great. I'll gladly return.

23/02/2026: I've known this pizzeria for almost forty years, and it's always packed because it truly deserves all the customers who come every Saturday night for their excellent pizza by the slice and their delicious desserts. Last Saturday, I discovered they also do excellent meat-based main courses with a variety of sides. They're quick, despite the place being packed.
