31/08/2025: We stopped on our way back from Puglia to take a break from the long journey to Piacenza, for one night, in an area in the hills of Ascoli Piceno. Cubanito was the revelation of the holiday. Finally, after two weeks of vacation, we found the renowned Italian hospitality again. We felt at home and ate so much and so well. All traditional dishes with truly generous portions, attention to customer service and friendliness that we so missed on this holiday, previously. Let's just say that to eat well in Puglia, we had to go to the Marche! I also thank you for your willingness to prepare 1.5 kg of olives (spectacular and homemade) for us to take to the Piacenza area. We will definitely be back, even if it's not very close. If you are near Ascoli Piceno, stop by Cubanito. You won't regret it!

21/08/2025: Good food, nice location, excellent owners, only the rooms close to the restaurant can be a bit of a problem in case of noisy dinners

26/04/2025: It was recommended to me by a person in the area. Nice, welcoming place. The girls were nice. I took the truffle olives, an explosion of flavour, and the meat ravioli, truly excellent. Accompanied by a glass of local red, water and a coffee, the bill costs 31 euros. I saw a very inviting set of cutting boards on other tables.

25/03/2025: Staying overnight at the Palazzo Ciotti hotel, I tried the tasting menu of the adjoining bistro. The local pecorino cheeses and the small tasting of mixed fried foods are excellent (the REAL Ascoli olive, a distant relative of the frozen ones found in pizzerias), also noteworthy are the egg cooked at low temperature with pecorino fondue and black truffle and the meat-filled ravioli always with black truffle. The dessert was also excellent (mascrpone cream with vanilla and raspberry crumble.

28/08/2025: It was one of the essential stops every evening during the holidays. They offer ice cream in both cans and small, medium, and large cups. The ice cream is very good and satisfying compared to other places.

15/08/2025: I'm from Genoa but I often go to Ascoli Piceno. Bar Sestili offers high-quality cocktails and exquisite cuisine. Lately, I've preferred it to the larger, more well-known establishments in and around Piazza del Popolo. But they're not real competitors; Bar Sestili has carved out its own character. With a relatively small interior and a couple of nice tables just outside, it also boasts additional tables in the square.

01/08/2025: A very nice bar with a charming, nostalgic decor that feels authentic. The location is slightly off the main piazza, rather quiet, with a pleasant funk/soul playlist. You can sit inside the bar, directly in front, or against the wall of the beautifully lit church. Privacy is possible. The food is of very high quality; you have to be able to make the beef tartare! The very attentive, friendly, and welcoming waiters, who also speak excellent English, deserve special mention. I really enjoyed both the drinks and the food.

20/08/2025: Great place for aperitifs with friends, very friendly staff, and a great location in the center of San Benedetto. Top, highly recommended.

13/08/2025: We stopped for a simple aperitif in August and ordered a platter of typical Norcia products and a bottle of wine. Excellent products, friendly staff, and a very pleasant atmosphere. A must try!

07/09/2025: We visited the nearby village and the lady at the tombolo recommended this guesthouse-trattoria. It's spot on, a real, authentic, no-frills place. Everything is delicious. The tagliolini, lamb, and sautéed vegetables are a delight.

31/08/2025: A very simple, family-run restaurant. Good-quality ingredients. The fritto all'ascolana and tagliolini alla Robespierre were excellent. I found some of the grilled meat pieces a bit tough. Overall, good value.

23/04/2025: Tutto ottimo. Si mangia benissimo in una atmosfera familiare e cordiale. Ottime materie prime e piatti cucinati molto bene, sia "di terra" che "di mare".

23/03/2025: This ice cream shop was a great discovery. The gentleman who served us was really kind, helpful and very nice. The ice creams are delicious, the place isn't huge but it has everything you need. The prices are more than fair. I really recommend going there!!

30/03/2025: We had sunday lunch tasting menu, 6 antipastos, 2 primi, 2 secondi and 3 dolci for a group of 15 people. The atmosphere was welcome and relaxed but the foos was just excellent from the starters to the dessert. Congratulations for the Chef!

12/01/2025: Menù fisso 40€ vino incluso. Tutto strabuono. Locale carinissimo. Servizio davvero gentile. Che dire, verremo a trovarvi spesso. Continuate così. Siete super!

17/01/2025: Ristorantino semplice, con scelta dei piatti limitata come nelle "vere" osterie. A pranzo è sempre molto affollato, vista la proposta di menù a prezzo molto contenuto.

05/01/2025: Excellent place suitable not only for a lunch break. In fact, on Saturday evening you can also have dinner. What to say? The best: I go to it every Saturday, and every time it's always a confirmation. I would say the food was divine, cooked with passion and heart, the staff were very kind and welcoming to say the least. Prices more than fair. In short, seeing is believing. If you like genuine traditional flavours, this is the right place. Well done, well done, well done!

05/07/2025: Ristorante con atmosfera anni 70 annesso all' hotel. L'impostazione sicuramente classica, elegante senza eccedere, riporta ai ristoranti di una cinquantina di anni fa, nel senso positivo del termine. Piatti prevalentemente di mare, tra cui segnalo una buone selezione di antipasti caldi e freddi gli Spinosini (pasta all'uovo) con le melecche (code di scampi freschi). Tutto il menù è di ispirazione tradizionale così come il servizio: la persona in sala è molto gentile, mai invadente, nel suo ruolo è la persona professionalmente più preparata che ho incontrato in questo mio soggiorno.

29/06/2025: I have been a customer for about thirty years and I have to tell the truth in recent years I no longer feel as good as before. Today I went back for lunch and I left satisfied (especially the appetizers are unmatched) the staff is always very welcoming and polite as always!
