20/07/2025: Inviting and welcoming, even if the tables are too close together. Poorly soundproofed, but fortunately the background music creates a modicum of privacy. The chalkboard menu is a good idea. The wait for service was a bit long, perhaps because the dishes aren't pre-cooked. Tasty and well-presented, I would improve the serving size when a single course is requested. The service is professional and courteous. The well-maintained and clean environment is only flawed by poor ventilation, which, if only mechanical, needs to be improved with the increase in guests. Some dishes were offered, but in the evening you shouldn't overdo it, especially given the hairpin bends you have to negotiate on the way back. The dessert choice wasn't the best; the ice cream was ice cold; the other one was more fortunate, but very good. As for the coffee, I'd change the machine, otherwise I'd try a more full-bodied blend, but that's a matter of personal taste. We'll make up for it next time. As for parking, anyone who knows Ascoli Piceno will tell you it's just a matter of luck. See you next time and if you happen to be there, try their cuisine, it's worth it.

24/06/2025: 04/25/2025 On the advice of our hotel we dine in this lovely place. I remember perfectly the fantastic olive oil that the owner offered us on some excellent bread. We ate really well and the staff was courteous and present.

15/08/2025: The villa's parking lot is frequented by criminals who break car windows to steal their contents. It happened during a wedding in broad daylight. I wasn't the only one to suffer damage that day. It's happened several times before. The owners are aware of it. The parking lot isn't monitored by video surveillance, despite the presence of a camera that, apparently, everyone knows is turned off... It's scandalous that no action is being taken in the face of a pattern that's now well-known in the area.

12/03/2025: Excellent service and nice atmosphere, but some very disappointing dishes: Ascolana olives a little dry and tasted like they were in the fridge, boiled slices and a little cold. For the rest, a good selection of cheeses, good tagliatelle with meat sauce, tortelloni filled with unusual carbonara. For the price I expected a little more.

08/02/2025: Sono stato al caffè dei poeti qualche giorno fa con la mia ragazza, locale carino, buoni i crudi di carne ma sul primo abbiamo avuto un po’ di riserve : abbiamo deciso di provare i ravioloni ripieni alla carbonara… buona la sfoglia ed il ripieno ma mancava quel che più caratterizza la carbonara, la cremina che si crea con l’amido l’uovo ed il grasso. Era stato messo un formaggio, simili a quei formaggini che mangiavo quando ero piccolo nella minestrina, inoltre il guanciale si sentiva veramente poco sotto i tendi… cosa che in realtà anche questa dovrebbe essere una caratteristica del piatto, quella del guanciale croccante. Un po’ una caduta di stile secondo me. Per il resto ci siamo, la carta dei vini ha buoni prodotti locali e non … magari ecco giusto ad imparare a fare una carbo crema potrebbe essere un valore in più.

07/09/2025: Dinner on the 31st, booked days in advance, €60 per person, I think. I paid a deposit out of fairness. I liked the dishes, especially the soup and tagliatelle, the cannelloni, and the roast beef were passable. The lentils with cotechino were embarrassing, a slice of dry cotechino cut into squares...you can see the photo...anyway, overall...it was okay. Aside from the industrial dessert, which wasn't very good...a well-made crepe would have been better! But the scandalous thing was the weather. Cold. We were placed in a sort of enclosed outdoor area, poorly, for the winter. Someone had us move to the main room. The rest of us dined in jackets. If I hadn't already paid a deposit, I would have gone to eat a couple of arrosticini in the square. There was a fake stove that I still have to figure out if it worked. The waiters pretended nothing was happening... they were rushing to serve everyone and didn't even notice... the owner or manager... the one in a tie at the cash register, who occasionally appeared, didn't bother to say anything... like maybe there was a problem and he apologized to us in the dining room... nothing. I stayed because I thought they'd fix it at least a little. And nothing when I went to pay, either. I repeat, we all dined in coats. A discount would have been enough to save their reputation. But I saw they have the same problems with the air conditioning, reading previous reviews...!

04/09/2025: Very tasty, didn't have to wait long. Prices are not expensive, service is very polite, attentive and fast! A great dinner for 5 people with drinks (and a liter of wine!!!) 117 euros. Everything is super, definitely want to visit again!

05/05/2025: In a side street of the pedestrian area in the center (corner of Via Galileo Galilei Via Castelfidardo) in San Benedetto del Tronto there is this historic artisanal ice cream shop where they make the best ice cream in the city. For me and my wife it is a fixed appointment, a vast variety of flavours, each one better than the next, from classics to new ones, particular and always delicious where every single flavor stands out and the quality and freshness of the raw material is recognised, the place is small and impeccably clean and organised, the girls very cute, they manage everything with extreme attention, kindness and professionalism, friendly and above all always smiling. I recommend this ice cream shop to anyone who wants to delight in truly good ice cream made to perfection, for us the best ice cream shop ever.

30/08/2025: There were five of us, we ordered right away, and the sandwiches arrived after 1.5 hours (some of them were wrong). I had asked for one item to be left out, and the sandwich contained the item I had asked for left out! I can say it wasn't worth waiting so long for those sandwiches! A Coke was €5!! The prices were also a bit exaggerated.
