30/03/2026: I went for dinner with my wife, relying on the restaurant's good reviews. I must say they were all positively confirmed. The menu, featuring local specialties, isn't overly extensive, which—I should point out—is always an added bonus for me (I'm wary of menus that last for pages), but it still offers a rich and varied selection. From appetizers to dessert, the dishes are interesting and beautifully presented. Specifically, we ordered two appetizers: cheese and egg balls (obligatory for mopping up the sauce) and golden, fried artichoke segments (good, more "ordinary"). Then I chose a first course, vincisgrassi, which were very interesting, first of all because instead of puff pastry, the chef chose crepes, and then a rich but balanced "filling." My wife, on the other hand, chose a second course, a very well-made stew with a hint of citrus (orange?) that was never overpowering but that gave a note of acidity and freshness to an otherwise complex dish. Finally, a dessert, donuts with cooked wine. We then accompanied the meal with a local red wine. The restaurant was small and welcoming, with very attentive and attentive service from the host and his wife, and the atmosphere, reminiscent of a wholesome old-fashioned (in the best sense of the word) but with modern touches, was very pleasant. I should also add that despite it being full, the acoustics were good and The soundproofing allowed us to chat without being disturbed by other tables. The price, finally, was extremely reasonable at less than €70.00 for two, making it highly recommended for a quality stop in Ascoli Piceno.

A selection of superb appetizers, especially the caponata (which isn't as good as it used to be in Sicily), and for the main course, a fantastic peppered fillet steak. My heartfelt compliments, the chef confirms his place among the best in Ascoli Piceno. Go there!

No dress code required, but don't wear slippers or a tank top! Excellent, delicious, and welcoming.

11/12/2025: If you're craving a pizza that's a little different, you've come to the right place! Super light dough, top-quality ingredients, and a super friendly staff. Every pizza is spectacular and unique in its own way. I recommend trying their charcoal-fired dough and, of course, their fried pizza. The great thing is that, even if you're a couple, you can try different ones because you can order a square pizza with two toppings. If you're unsure of what to order, just ask them—you won't be disappointed. The staff is super accommodating, even with a few changes to their recipes, which confirms that they're truly freshly made. I also recommend trying their beer, which is excellent. The place respects their pizzas—it's unique and welcoming. I can't fault them!

The setting—this former 17th-century convent with a cloister—is also very pleasant. The problem is another: they never returned our reservation calls. We finally showed up at 12:30, the advertised opening time, just as they were opening the door. We asked for a table for two. It was available, but they kindly asked us to return around 1:00 PM because they weren't ready yet. We returned at the scheduled time, sat down at 1:00 PM, and finished lunch (appetizers, first course, second course, dessert, and coffee) at 4:00 PM. The staff was courteous and helpful, but the service was excruciatingly slow.

The host is incredibly welcoming, patient, and kind, creating an experience that feels both personal and genuine. The carefully chosen music and the charming space further add to the experience. A place truly worth trying!

14/06/2026: A short stroll from the seafront leads to this beautiful restaurant, located just beneath the medieval tower that is the symbol of San Benedetto del Tronto, run with passion and professionalism by the Gaetani brothers. We chose the €60 menu, which includes a pre-starter (a loin sandwich and a caramelized chocolate pearl with... anchovies! A decidedly daring combination, but I assure you, a great success), followed by two appetizers, a fish first course, a meat-based second course (a wonderful larded deboned rabbit), and a dessert. Including water, coffee, pastries, and an excellent bottle of local red wine, we spent €147. A tip for the owners, as an old Piedmontese wine enthusiast: charge two euros more for the bottle, but decant it with a candle. The wine will be significantly better. One note: there are beautiful solid wood tables, but they don't usually put tablecloths. It's a habit that really bothers me. Nonetheless, the overall rating remains excellent: an unforgettable experience and excellent value for money. Congratulations!

Also tagliatelle with fungi porcini was really bad. Other food was okeyish but overall service and the other pasta left it bad experience.
