16/08/2026: Perfect lunch, we'll be back! Everything was excellent: the owner's welcome, the portions, and the prices. The service was quick, courteous, and super professional. I definitely recommend the fritto misto as an appetizer.

13/08/2026: A warm and welcoming place, made so by both the attention to detail and the hospitality of the owner and waitresses. As soon as we were seated, each dish was explained to us, and based on their advice, we ordered three appetizers for three people, including three types of Ascolana olives: plain, with truffle, and spicy. The latter was perhaps a tad too spicy, but overall, they were all delicious, as was the rest of the appetizer, which included fried zucchini and fried mushrooms. Moving on to the first courses, we ordered red Civitella ceppe with meatballs, paccheri with bacon, artichokes, and pecorino cheese. Finally, the owner, seeing my hesitation about the ricotta and spinach ravioli with mushrooms, and my interest in both mushrooms and their homemade pasta, prepared me a truly spectacular version of Civitella ceppe with porcini mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and zucchini (which, in my opinion, deserves a spot on the menu 😄). Including 2 bottles of water and 1/4 of red wine, we spent €48 (excellent value) I also applaud the excellent service from the waitresses and their attention to detail, such as serving pecorino, chili pepper, and parmesan, along with the recommended combination of these for each entree. In short, a highly recommended place from every perspective.

10/08/2026: About a month ago, my wife and I rented "La Locanda degli Amici" for our fourth wedding anniversary. For three days, we were fortunate enough to live and host our family and friends from all over the world in a little corner of paradise. I want to thank all the staff for their warm hospitality! We had a wonderful time!!!

09/08/2026: On our way back to Veneto from Salento, we stopped for a night in the area, and the friends' inn is just a few minutes from the B&B where we stayed. A very beautiful and well-maintained place with ample parking, and the owner and waiters are young, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had a delicious fried appetizer, very good and plentiful for two, some arrosticini for the child (who loved it), and then we had meat main courses. The tagliata was very good, and the fillet was even better! Excellent quality meat, cooked precisely rare as requested. We also enjoyed the desserts. If we have the opportunity again, we'll gladly return.

31/07/2026: Stopped for lunch and a nice surprise just off the beach. The seafood zuppetta and turbot fillet accompanied by a glass of cerasuolo were a nice change of pace for the day. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

15/07/2026: The art retreat week in Chiaraluce was simply wonderful. The place, the hosts, the house, the meals, dogs and cats and views - all was so heartwarming. Chiaraluce is the place where to relax your mind and body, to enjoy life and to be happy! I would be glad to return there.

13/08/2026: Overall, good, but given the overall price, there were some significant oversights. The service wasn't always impeccable, even when it came to managing the table, despite its secluded location. It's unacceptable that a €24 dish includes grilled vegetables from the fridge...

16/08/2026: Very good! Traditional dishes and fair prices. We had the Ascoli olives, fried pecorino cheese, and crescia. They also offered us a complimentary amaro.

16/08/2026: Disappointing, it seems like a tourist trap. Digital menu with QR code is convenient, but doesn't feel authentic. The food was downright bad. The cold antipasti were not fresh and looked like those from a supermarket. Most of the pasta was not tasty; Le mezze all’amatriciana was inedible, too salty and with old bacon. The cannelloni all’ascolana was dry and tasteless. The Chittarine al tartuffo fresco was simple but good. The staff is friendly, but that doesn't make up for the disappointment – ​​they don't ask if the food tastes good, so there is no possibility of compensation. In short: not recommended.

25/04/2026: A place that feels like home; I've been coming here for years. I feel good as soon as I walk in the door. A unique venue with a spacious terrace. An amazing selection of beers, expertly and passionately recommended by Sergio. The menu is typical of a pub; it's varied, and the ingredients are top-quality. AIC-certified, it offers a wide selection of gluten-free dishes, with a wide selection of fried dishes, including the Ascoli olives and sweet potatoes. Simone, in the kitchen, has added a touch of panache and innovation. Tasha, in the kitchen, is the invisible driving force behind the place. Karen serves with professionalism, efficiency, and a big smile. I recommend trying this excellent, welcoming, and out-of-the-way pub for yourself.

25/06/2026: I was at that bar today, I tried two delicious drinks, I paid, but when I was leaving a waiter asked me if I had actually paid the bill. I don't know if white people experience this kind of embarrassment, but I think it's good to ask.

A wide variety of products: from classic Ascoli olives to Jewish-style artichokes, gyoza with curry prawns, and hamburgers. A menu that blends local tradition with more creative options. The selection of liqueurs is excellent, including the ever-present Anisetta Meletti. In short: the ideal place for those seeking quality, simplicity, and friendliness.

30/12/2025: We were in SBT for sightseeing, freezing cold, and looking for a place to warm up for an aperitivo, and we were incredibly lucky. They recommended a good glass of local wine, and we tried some excellent Ascoli olives. My partner, who loves meat even now after we've left, keeps mentioning them, saying they were spectacular (and we've tried several at other places too). The staff was also kind enough to not make a fuss about the bulky stroller (which isn't a given, considering I've been terrified of going out since we had a baby because I don't know if they make us feel uncomfortable). If we ever visit again, we'll definitely be back to try other things.

18/10/2025: A welcoming place in the pedestrianized historic center of SBT. Ideal for tasting excellent wines from their well-stocked cellar, they also offer quality food! The owners are very friendly and always welcome you with a smile. Highly recommended! Poldo

01/07/2026: Although suspended trains aren't my cup of tea, I really like this train. If trains were metaphors, this metaphor would actually be a simile. That is, one thinks that life is a mirror of all the choices one makes. But what if mirrors are the choices of a lifetime? I don't know. In any case, the quality of the beer is evident from what I write. The scent of happiness, here at the Medoc. It awaits you behind Miriam's smile (she doesn't own this place, but this place does) and the special cuisine. I'll be back, even if trains aren't my cup of tea, because I like this train, this one.
