26/07/2026: Passing by and without having booked, they obviously welcomed me and found me a table... if you're looking for meat just from what I saw passing by, you're in the right place, and once you've eaten their amazing diaphragm, I confirm even more that you're in the right place for whatever craving you have... only compliments and a big thank you to the owner and all the staff!!!

26/07/2026: Nightmare kitchens: that alone would be enough! We were drawn in by the numerous videos from low-quality influencers, and it wasn't worth it. There were two of us, and we had to wait 45 minutes for a small entree, always after pointing it out. And to make matters worse, along with the main courses, the waitress cleaned the plates with her hands in front of the customers. It's a shame because we expected much more from a place like this. They tried to make up for it with a €20 voucher, but it would have been enough to not even charge us for the measly small entree.

06/03/2026: Exquisite staff. Excellent breakfast and service. A hidden gem in Castelferretti that's a must-visit. Quick and efficient service, always with a smile and a joke to brighten your day.

23/05/2026: Sloppy. The owner tries to be nice and make you eat what he thinks is best for you. The bill will be €18 for a plate of homemade ravioli. It's not like we were in Paris! Please! Real restaurants in the Marche region are quite different, even nearby.

11/05/2026: I can't rate the food or anything else because if you call (and I did several times) to book, you get a curt "it's not possible tonight" response... without even trying to create empathy and make you want to rebook again...

28/06/2026: We ordered using the ordering machines at the entrance to the cafe and after a good quarter of an hour, even though there weren't many people, we got up to get an espresso macchiato at the counter. Unfortunately, rather than a caffè macchiato, they made us a caffè latte. Disappointing.

09/06/2026: I've never seen such a poorly cooked cutlet at MEC before, dark and dry, truly overcooked. I had to leave the bread soaked in the sauce and put it all in one spot. The staff isn't very friendly, forgetting things at the table and missing napkins. It's a nice place, but if you operate like this, it's not worth the beauty and size of the place.

04/05/2026: Off ferry at 7 a.m. straight onto cage. Friendly people, first class coffee.

01/05/2026: Not recommended. It was quite empty when we arrived, yet we still had to wait 15 minutes before we could place our order – two standard pizzas and a large bottle of water. In the meantime, more guests arrived and received their food and drinks. Twenty minutes passed, and we still hadn't received anything, so we went to the waiter. His colleague stepped in, opened the order system on her phone, and asked what we had ordered, as there was no order under our table number. Our waiter turned around, and the other woman simply said that she had no order. There was no apology, no request to prioritize it, nothing at all. The worst service I have ever experienced. We went to the next restaurant; what a shame. A day in Ancona, lunch, and then this.

15/06/2026: I go in and ask for a piadina. He tells me it can't be made because they don't have mozzarella anymore, so he substitutes cheese. However, he doesn't charge me the same as a regular piadina, but a full €2.50 more. When I point this out to him after paying, he tells me nothing else can be done, so I order a regular piadina at a very high price. The wait is 30 minutes, even with the shop empty. Highly not recommended. The girl is rude and completely unprepared.

23/06/2026: Excellent food, we ordered several courses, including appetizers, chicken and pizza, everything was delicious, gluten-free appetizers and my gluten-free pizza was exceptional, I recommend it to those like me who unfortunately have to be careful about contamination, excellent service, kind and polite staff, nice atmosphere, also suitable for families.

22/06/2026: Average pizza, we also had the roast chicken. Fries, the menu isn't very extensive or original. They have the usual fare. Space was limited; there were six of us crammed into the assigned seat. Table space, etc., was limited. I won't be returning, which is a shame because it's convenient for the nearby cinema.

27/06/2026: I ate fish, generous portions, and excellent food. The price was also good. (The starter platters in the photos are for one person!). The place is large and in an industrial area, so parking is easy.

12/06/2026: One of the employees is rude. Every time I stop, he's arguing with a customer because you can't use your cell phone in your car near the pumps. He remembers being the fire marshal, but when someone points out that he has a cigarette in his mouth or that he just threw one a few meters from the pumps, he turns on his heel and doesn't respond.

24/05/2026: It's just steps away from all the tourist attractions in Ancona. The young staff are very helpful and friendly; it's one of the few places where Spanish speakers can be served in their own language. The prices are very good and everything is delicious. Highly recommended.
