12/07/2026: At first you think it's too busy. Too touristy. But definitely give it a try. Delicious food and even better ice cream. What I did notice, however, was that all the women serving were very friendly and the men quite rude.

20/10/2025: Top location in a beautiful area. Excellent organic wines, delicious food, but in this case I have to remove a star because despite the cold, the dishes didn't come out preheated. The braised pork cheek was good, but not cooked perfectly, and unfortunately they also use flavored preserved truffle (a no-no in a restaurant of this type). All the other dishes were exceptional and made with the utmost care. Impeccable service, good value for money. We'll definitely be back.
04/10/2025: Lunch in September for a wedding. The dishes were anything but predictable. Impeccable service and a tastefully decorated location.

13/07/2026: We stopped here while passing through, heading straight in because of the good reviews. We weren't disappointed! The food was delicious! The service was very friendly and attentive. The portions were just right and incredibly affordable compared to German prices! 👍 We hope to come back again sometime!

07/08/2026: We went for pizza. I ordered a black pearl, but it was missing two ingredients: the truffle sauce and the pomegranate glaze. My daughter ordered the hamburger menu and asked for the sandwich with only sauces (ketchup and mayo), but only the bread and meat arrived. They were supposed to bring back the menu so we could see the desserts, but they forgot...
It's a shame because the food is good, but there were too many lapses in attention, despite the fact that it was a quiet evening.
04/08/2026: If you have celiac disease, don't come in. The waitress told me the salad was contaminated, too.
Is it better to be warned than to eat something that isn't right?
Absolutely! But it's also true that in 2026, a restaurant in such a popular seaside resort needs to be equipped to accommodate those with dietary needs. And in the worst-case scenario, where the kitchen is very small, you can get sealed single-serving gluten-free products that can only be heated in the microwave.

08/04/2026: Nice little place just a stone's throw from the historic centre of the small town of Monterosso. You can eat very well and spend very little.

26/03/2026: I'm extremely curious to try the new location where Sepia has moved. I've been to the old building several times, and I've always had a more than satisfactory experience. The chef's creativity is a testament to the excellent quality of the finished product. It's always been one of the best restaurants in the area, and I sincerely hope nothing changes with the new location.

29/06/2026: Truly an excellent experience! We had lunch at Trattoria Carotti with an Erasmus+ group from Hungary and we were all thrilled.
The food was fantastic, with traditional dishes prepared with great care and using quality ingredients. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, and we immediately felt at home.
Special thanks to Laura, who was incredibly kind and helped us with everything, from organizing to managing our dietary needs, always with a smile and a truly rare kindness.
A place we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone passing through Ancona. We'll definitely be back!

21/07/2026: Fabulous! Every time I'm in the area, it's a must-visit. The atmosphere is dated, but the context makes it incredibly unique.
The lunch menu is AMAZING, and the CHEF is incredible. I've eaten there countless times, and he's never let anything go halfway, whether it's a first course or a second course. Grilled meat is definitely his specialty.
The service is fast and extremely friendly, but above all, always smiling, which is a treasure to be protected these days!!!
BRAVO, BRAVI, BRAVI, AND BRAVI AGAIN.
Sweet and savory breakfasts to please every palate. Now all I have to review is the pizza, but from what I read, I won't be disappointed.
PS: For foodies, the prosciutto is served hand-sliced.

15/07/2026: Beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the harbor where you can dine. Mussels are a specialty; I had mussels in sauce, mussels au gratin, and arancini with mussels—all excellent. Highly recommended.
