The food isn't bad at Ruspantino, I'd be lying, but the place is rundown, dirty, and messy. And don't even bother looking too closely at the toilet, the floors, or all that dusty, cobweb-filled clutter. Wandering around behind the kitchen and in the garden is absolutely forbidden; everything is adrift.

Well, what can I say about Cesare and his delicious cuisine! I've been there twice already with my husband. The first time, I was enchanted by the kindness and the place (full of interesting things), but above all by the welcome. Cesare explained everything with such patience and love, remembering every dish by heart without even needing the menu card. ​1. Cesare is an extremely welcoming person, he puts so much love and passion into what he does (and that's what made me return the second time). Hospitality is everything, and the lady is also very kind. We will definitely be back. It all starts with the bread: wonderful, fresh, and delicate. ​2. Let's move on to the food: what a wonderful and abundant appetizer! I'd say it's very rich; Cesare transforms the appetizer into a work of art. There are delicious fruit pairings, like avocado, orange, and apple paired with sausage—I'd say it's awesome! Everything is generous; the fruit adds a delicate touch that aids digestion and creates a splendid flavor. You're already feeling full, but just when you think it's all over, Cesare arrives with his calm manner and brings you more delicacies to complete the meal. A tip: definitely order it! 3. First course: I had gnocchi stuffed with tomato and mozzarella. They're the largest gnocchi I've ever seen in my life, and incredibly flavorful! They have a golden crust and sauce that's a sight to behold. You can tell it's all made to order, incredibly fresh. 4. Second course: the tagliata I had the first time was incredibly soft, a generous piece. Cesare was a master at slicing it: succulent and wonderful. 5. Dessert: The other time I had tiramisu. Wow! So beautiful and fluffy it looked like a cloud, and it was a generous portion. If it were available for takeout, I'd buy it all and eat it at home whenever I wanted. Both the first and second times were perfect. For me, the welcome my husband and I received, combined with this tasty food, is what made me fall in love. Congratulations, you've conquered the "belly" of a Brazilian! Hugs.

26/03/2026: When I go to Ancona, I often enjoy the food service at this pizzeria. It's always a guarantee because the quality and service are acceptable, but I'd like to focus on a few points: I'm not arguing about the food, but about the pizza. In recent years, in addition to being different and not always delicious (personal opinion, but not necessarily), I've noticed that the prices have risen disproportionately—€8 for a Margherita seems excessive. It would also be nice if the owners smiled every now and then, or at least were a little more welcoming. The atmosphere, however, is rather sterile and dated and could use a little more comfort.
08/03/2026: Over the years, it has maintained its identity: open to young people. Helpful and welcoming staff. One of the very few places left where you can find it even without a reservation and...with cotton napkins!!! Even for pizza.

19/04/2026: This place is difficult to find for those who don't know it. The food is good, but definitely not abundant. The place is clean, but it feels more like a bar than a restaurant. Overall, it was a positive experience, but not a thrilling one. Good value for money.
26/02/2026: Yesterday, by pure chance, I stumbled upon this place for lunch (being in Jesi for work). I eat outside the box, so I don't follow the daily menu, so I make unusual requests. Initially, the two girls serving me were wide-eyed, but then they understood and indulged me completely, with kindness and a smile on their faces. EXCELLENT, super clean environment (bathroom included), fast service, excellent quality-price ratio, so highly recommended for a business lunch where eating well in a relaxed atmosphere and quickly is important. Thank you!!
