11/01/2026: The restaurant has an intimate, warm, welcoming atmosphere, the kind that makes you want to take your time. The service is good: attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. There's nothing to complain about; in fact, it's one of the restaurant's strong points. The cuisine, however, follows a very specific line. It's not the classic place where you start with cured meats and cheeses, because you simply can't find them. The choice is to offer more elaborate, well-made, and certainly delicious dishes. However, it remains a personal feeling: if you're craving quality cured meats and cheeses, why not have them? Sometimes, even simplicity, if the ingredients are good, is a value. The meats were good, well-prepared, but quite expensive. And here comes another small disappointment: the side dishes. In single portions, they're truly minimal, almost symbolic, and don't justify the price. Regarding desserts: shame about the profiteroles. It's the first time I've seen it served like this: three separate cream puffs on a bed of melted, spreadable chocolate, unfortunately bland and lacking in character. A dessert that, instead of ending the meal well, leaves one a bit perplexed. The real disappointment, however, is the lack of a wine list. The explanation given—labels change frequently—is unconvincing. Even without delving into the regulatory debate, today a wine list, or at least an updateable QR code, is a matter of transparency and professionalism. If you want to offer a high-quality experience, you have to do it thoroughly. In short: a place with a lovely atmosphere and impeccable service, good cuisine but with choices that may not appeal to everyone. High prices, small portions, and a few details that could be improved. With a few more tweaks, it could really make a difference.

02/10/2025: This chalet has been my favorite for years. This year it changed management, and I can confirm they've made a huge difference. Superb food, super service, and the beach is always wonderful, and then...very fair prices. The seafood gnocchi...the absolute best ever!

13/03/2026: I didn't stay overnight; I'm reviewing the restaurant. The location is ugly, on the highway, and the place is decidedly old-fashioned. The seafood dishes, however, are very good. I haven't tried the pasta dishes (which I will), but aside from the mussels, you can taste the quality and freshness of the catch in everything you eat. Be careful with portions, because while prices are generally average for the season, you should keep in mind that a single portion (of anything) can feed at least two people. So, if you plan ahead when you order, the value for money becomes truly exceptional.

15/02/2026: Valentine's Day evening ruined. Reservations for 9:30 PM were made to wait until 10:15 PM. After another wait to order, we finally started eating around 11:00 PM. Embarrassing organization, especially on a night when you know full well the place will be packed. Meanwhile, we witness the distribution of free prosecco to the tables next to ours. For us? Nothing. Clearly, there are first-class and second-class customers. The tables are practically glued together: barely 15 cm apart. It's impossible to exchange a few words with your partner without sharing every detail with your neighbors. Zero privacy, zero atmosphere, zero romance. More than a dinner for two, it felt like a shared table with strangers. The most indecent moment? When the pizza finally arrives (in a nearly empty room), the waiter starts spraying the tables around us with disinfectant while we're eating. Clouds of product fill the air, a pungent odor that inevitably settles on our food. A surreal and completely unacceptable scene. Service beyond poor, terrible management, and a complete lack of customer service. We won't recommend it to anyone and will certainly never set foot in there again. A special evening turned into an experience to forget.

17/03/2026: I was born and raised near this restaurant, but I hadn't been back in years, despite the many positive reviews from friends, and it was a mistake (not coming sooner). They offer a very good €25 menu, with four appetizers, two first courses, and two second courses. The price also includes cover charge, water and wine, sorbet or dessert, and coffee. It's definitely worth it.

26/01/2026: Here from Rome for my son's soccer match. A real place, like the ones from the old days. Not touristy. Quality and kindness. Everyone was welcoming. A big hello to the owner, who not only served us but also told us a little about the place.

25/01/2026: Gluten-free pizza, INEDIBLE, horrible in taste, appearance, and digestibility. The porcini mushrooms in the chosen flavor were a figment of the imagination: you pay to imagine they're on the pizza! The service was terrible, slow, and confusing. We arrived on time with a table booked for the second shift, but after 35 minutes we found ourselves sitting waiting for our order, only to be told we had to wait longer to order because "the shift had changed." The wait for the pizza was equally long. The price of a terrible gluten-free pizza is €16-17. Furthermore, it's best not to offer gluten-free alternatives if you're not careful about contamination and are selling frozen bases passed off as pizza.
