14/03/2026: The inside dining room has an unpleasant smell, perhaps due to the bathroom. I ordered the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, even though it wasn't the right season. They tasted like the ones from a jar in oil. I haven't tried the rest, so I can't give an overall opinion, but what I ate wasn't particularly thrilled.

11/03/2026: It was my first time here, and I was immediately struck by its cleanliness, order, and organization. The immaculately decorated room is adorned with sideboards reminiscent of the beautiful furniture of yesteryear. The neatly set tables are arranged to allow for easy passage and a certain amount of privacy. The wooden chairs alternate between genuine straw-seated ones and those with wooden seats, which are nevertheless surprisingly comfortable. The atmosphere is familiar, bucolic, and convivial, typical of the best old-fashioned taverns. The traditional dishes, though occasionally embellished and revisited, are presented simply and generously, placing the quality of the ingredients and the kitchen's expertise at the forefront. We began with a generous plate of sautéed wild vegetables. Among the first courses, we were inspired by the radicchio, speck, and walnut ravioli: homemade pasta with a rich, flavorful sauce and generous portions. Next up was a truly tender and delicate baked chicken breast in an almond crust, and a pork loin with spring onions and apricots, with just the right amount of fat for its tenderness. This dish first delighted the eye and then delighted the palate, truly unique and thoroughly enjoyed. The service was professional, attentive, fast, and courteous; many compliments!!! The restaurant has ample and convenient parking and a welcoming green area equipped with games for younger guests. Outdoor seating is available during the season; these comforts are certainly a plus, much appreciated by our patrons. A word of advice: GO THERE AND COME BACK!!! 06/05/2026: A lovely place in the center of historic San Benedetto, but under new management. The pizza is excellent, but you can also order a first course or fish. The location, the friendliness, and the flavors are top-notch. I highly recommend it.

Great atmosphere, excellent local draft beers, quality live music on Friday nights, and a well-crafted menu. What truly makes the difference is Lucia. Her warmth, attention, and genuine passion for welcoming guests turn every visit into a special experience. On her recommendation, I tried the Ganzo hamburger — honestly the best burger I’ve ever had, with perfect fries and unforgettable crispy guanciale. A true gem in town. I highly recommend it to anyone passing through Castelraimondo.

During the call, I was asked if a 1 kg/1.2 kg cake would be okay, and I said yes. I was also asked if the birthday girl was a boy or a girl, so I honestly thought the order had been marked with a minimum of attention. On May 13, I went to pick it up. I went in, said hello, and the girl there didn't even look at me, not a smile, not a single "hello." We told her we had ordered a cake, and she brought out a tiny cake, without decorations, with practically illegible and poorly made writing. But above all, a cake that was definitely not for 8 people. She weighed it in front of us, and it was 600 grams. SIX HUNDRED. When we'd agreed on the phone, more than double. At that point, we asked her if that was really the cake we ordered, and even she seemed completely taken aback: she looked at the paper, looked at the cake, and kept saying, "I don't know, I didn't make it." Which, frankly, is not the kind of response you should give to customers who've ordered a cake for a birthday. Throughout the entire situation, she was completely indifferent, almost annoyed. No attempt to understand the problem, no proposed solution, no "I'm sorry." The only thing she did was wash her hands of the situation by saying she hadn't made the cake, despite having said she'd made the reservation. We even went out for a moment to figure out what to do because the birthday was today, and we found ourselves at the last minute without a decent cake to bring. We then came back to say that obviously we wouldn't have it, and we weren't even told anything. Not even a hello. Honestly, I find the whole thing embarrassing and very unprofessional. A birthday is a special occasion, and finding yourself in a situation like this due to such superficial management was truly unfortunate.
