05/09/2025: The food is always really good at this restaurant.

31/08/2025: I've returned to this restaurant after many years, and I have to say that some things seem to have changed. I'm referring primarily to the service, but especially to the prices and order management. It must be said that the food remains better than many Japanese restaurants around today; after all, this was the first Japanese restaurant in the area. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic, with a Japanese chef who adds a touch of true tradition. The sore point, however, is the price: it's definitely too high. I understand the quality of the product, but charging €2.50 for a simple refill of soy or wasabi seems truly excessive. The other courses are also disproportionately priced: you can spend €120 for two and leave feeling like you've only had an aperitivo. It's true that prices are exorbitant these days, but at this rate, paying such prices becomes truly unsustainable, considering we're not talking about a Michelin-starred restaurant.

14/06/2026: A couple of friends and I wanted to try the new management of the place because we heard they also served aperitifs on the terrace, so my review refers to that service and not the restaurant. We order, and after a while, everyone's aperitifs arrive except me. I wait a bit and then ask the waitress, who says, "It'll be right there." I wait another quarter of an hour, then ask another waitress: same answer. More time passes, and I ask again, annoyed because the others had finished their drinks long ago. "Excuse me, what did you order?" I reorder. Moral of the story: I get a lousy non-alcoholic mojito 45 minutes later than my friends, and without even a bag of chips, nothing at all. I go to pay and report the terrible experience to the owner, saying that in my opinion he shouldn't even charge me for my drink. The response is, "It can happen," and "out of the question." If he were a gentleman, he wouldn't have thought twice given the embarrassing service, but he doubles down by saying, "I have too many customers, losing people like this isn't a problem," and concludes with a great wise saying: the problems are elsewhere! And thank goodness I came to Sorpasso to get life lessons from a guy who only had to bring me a mojito in a reasonable amount of time!! Poor drinks, incompetent staff, arrogant manager: bleed over.

14/06/2026: Last night, a couple of friends and I went for a drink at this newly managed venue. The location is beautiful, but the service was terrible. We ordered two spritzes (they were too watery), a glass of Franciacorta (not very good), and a mojito. My friend waited over 30 minutes for it, while we had already finished our cocktails. Despite repeated reminders, they didn't intervene, and finally, when it came time for the bill, we told the owner what had happened. Instead of apologizing, he said, "I hope it's less crowded!" Absurd. I should point out that the review refers to the aperitif on the terrace, not the restaurant.

28/12/2025: The restaurant's traditional atmosphere and cleanliness make a real difference. I've been here several times, both with friends and family. Excellent food: the grilled pecorino cheese appetizer is truly exquisite, not to mention the Marchigiana steak, a perfectly cooked and truly succulent meat, accompanied by sautéed chicory. The desserts are also homemade, always fresh daily. The quality/price ratio is truly fair. The staff is attentive and friendly. I recommend it.

21/12/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance for lunch... tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and grilled lamb: simply amazing dishes... Highly recommended.

10/11/2025: We returned to the Palace del Conero for its strategic location, the kindness of the staff, the excellent breakfast, the comfortable room, and the 24-hour reception service. Now, with the newly renovated rooms, we couldn't ask for anything better. The experience exceeded our expectations. Well done!!!

06/12/2025: The pizzeria is very simple in its decor, but the pizza is delicious. The best I've ever had in the Macerata area. I highly recommend it. Well done guys!

20/06/2026: The staff are welcoming and helpful, always with a smile on their faces. The food is delicious, and the wait is minimal. The beach is clean and tidy. Privacy is guaranteed. (THANKS TO THE CHANGE IN MANAGEMENT) For dinner, you can order pizza, which is very good. I recommend everyone to come here.

11/02/2026: The food is good, but overall average; don't expect particularly sophisticated dishes. There are only a few servers; today there was only one, and I think that's not enough, as it creates a long line waiting for food. Both first and second courses should be written down and labeled so you can read them without having to constantly ask what's in each dish. There's really a lot to improve.

14/06/2026: Friendly, family-run shop. The products seem to be of very high quality, and the prices reflect this, but are still reasonable. It's a shame that you can't eat on the lovely terrace at lunchtime, only takeaway.

19/04/2026: Nice atmosphere, the only problem was that they gave us menus to order but made us wait over 20 minutes and, despite repeated calls, they continued to take new orders from other people. In the end, we decided to leave, tired of waiting.

19/04/2026: They gave us the menus but no waiter came despite being called more than 2 or 3 times telling us to wait, new customers arrived and the waiters instead of taking our order decided to bring the menus to the other tables, after 20 minutes of waiting we decided to leave since no waiter deigned to come or at least give us a valid explanation for waiting.

17/03/2026: Discovered by chance during a business trip. For over a year, it's become a regular stop when I'm in Urbino. Sandwiches are carefully prepared, well-balanced, and very tasty. The lady is very kind, professional, and above all, offers excellent advice. See you soon

Being at a hotel and unable to leave, I called almost at closing time: not only did they accept my order with great urgency, but the owner's son delivered the food directly to my door. 02/06/2026: We came to Verde Pistacchio for lunch. My mother-in-law knew it, and my wife and I were the first ones. It was a discovery worth it. The waiters were courteous and friendly! Traditional Marche food, delicious. The Vincisgrassi reminded me of my farming roots, a dream. And the best part: Laura, the owner, is incredibly friendly. I really enjoyed it. Keep it up. Luigino.
