The greatest appreciation, however, goes to the attention shown to my gluten intolerance. 08/01/2026: Surprisingly open in the winter with a great selection of ice creams. I was suspicious of apple with cinnamon, thought it might be too sweet, but it was as a great apple/strudel filling turned ice cream. Coffee strong and caramel great as well. Thanks!

13/09/2025: Small ice cream place in the centre of Sarnano, L'Oasi del Gelato offers an ample choice of flavours and the one we tried proved to be averagely good, with a special mention for liquorice and Sacher. Service is efficient and prices fair for the ice cream quality. Recommended.

12/01/2026: Good food, very cheap. A first course, a second course, a small bottle of white wine, and two pieces of bread are all for €14! And the food is good, too. In the second photo, everything is €17! In the third photo, everything is €14.30! Fantastic!

10/01/2026: Friendly, helpful, and extremely kind staff. My daughter and I spent three hours here until our train departed (since we couldn't stay in the train waiting room due to unsanitary conditions) and we felt very comfortable.

30/07/2025: A family classic that I always choose to return to. This parador is run by a charming family that makes all the difference. We've been coming here for many years, and they always welcome us with unique warmth: friendly, smiling, and attentive. Even when there are more than 10 of us, they reserve us sun loungers in the front row without any problem. The restaurant, specializing in fish and seafood, is a gem. The spaghetti alle vongole is, without exaggeration, the best I've ever had. I also recommend the insalata di mare and the frittura mista—everything is fresh and exquisite. A place that's always a pleasure to return to.

19/01/2026: Definitely an experience worth having, it's a historic café and a must-see in Ascoli Piceno, even if it's just for a coffee. Of course, you should try something anisette-flavored, like a "caffè meletti" or a "melettino"!

30/08/2025: My wife and I stayed for a week from August 17th to 24th, 2025. The hotel was seafront with an excellent view from the balcony. The breakfast was adequate, with a very good croissant. This was a great thing, as I've rarely found cappuccino or coffee made fresh, rather than from the machines, which, besides being bad, sometimes even require you to wait in line. Instead, here, the girls would come by and ask what you wanted, which was very welcome. They would also come back a second time to ask if you wanted anything else. The rooms were always clean, as was the entire hotel. My wife, unfortunately, had a health problem, and Mrs. Tania immediately took action to help us, which was very much appreciated. I thank all the staff at the Hotel Sassonia, who were always smiling, and I must say, that's not something everyone can do. It's definitely an excellent option for those who want to travel by train, as the train station is very close by, just a short walk. Then Fano has remained in our hearts and we will definitely return, definitely to the Hotel Sassonia. Highly recommended... See you soon, Hotel Sassonia. And I forgot, they also had a concept with the beach in front of it, an excellent establishment with a pool too, which was very welcome.

06/10/2025: The best arrabbiata I've ever had in the bar/diner category and maybe the best overall. The side salad was fantastic, they even brought me balsamic vinegar and the coffee (oh my God, they know how to make coffee 🎉) was excellent. Yes, I spent €16, but I spent it well and the staff was kind and fast.
