02/06/2026: Very nice, family-friendly atmosphere. Excellent food at a good price. We had meat, but the pizza looked inviting too. A little out of the way, but worth a visit because it's truly a surprise.

17/05/2026: I should start by saying that for health reasons, I'm following a specific diet; I needed to have a dinner with protein, carbohydrates, and vegetables, so I decided to order the chicken breast from the menu, which is served with grilled vegetables and parmesan shavings, and I also asked for bread. I made sure, again for health reasons, that everything be well cooked and that there be nothing raw on the plate, not even parsley. I was reassured because the waiter had made a note about this in the order. Unfortunately, the plate arrived full of parsley. I told the waiter (it wasn't the same one who had taken the order), who apologized and said, "I'll have it remade for you." Not even five minutes later, he came back with the same plate from before, from which the parsley had been roughly removed (there were still a few leaves here and there). To avoid a scene, I decided to take it anyway and just eat the chicken, which luckily was completely covered in Parmesan shavings and therefore hadn't come into contact with the parsley. However, I felt like I'd been taken for a ride. This isn't proper or professional behavior. I paid for a nice, rich dish of which I was only able to eat part, and I was also worried about my health... it won't make any difference to the restaurant, but I won't be returning.

10/06/2026: We were very disappointed with both dishes: the calamari and shrimp skewers and the large pasta with pescaratara sauce. They were completely tasteless, frozen, and served cold. Furthermore, the service was terrible. The waitresses were incredibly unfriendly and acted like robots. This is a tourist trap to avoid if you want to eat good Italian food.

11/07/2026: We spontaneously decided to try Pizzeria Da Berto during the week because our usual campsite pizzeria had already closed. Even though it was quite busy, we got a table right away. At first glance, the owner seemed a bit reserved – probably because he was very busy. It was all the more wonderful, then, to see how warmly he interacted with our four children. He joked around with them and gave them plenty of attention. For us as a family, that's truly special and not something we take for granted. The food was excellent, as was the service. Everything was fresh, delicious, and served promptly despite the restaurant being full. The value for money is unbeatable. We felt completely at ease and can wholeheartedly recommend Pizzeria Da Berto. If you appreciate good food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back! 🍕😊

08/07/2026: If you’re in Gradara, don’t miss this place. It’s one of those classic, historic spots that you just have to visit. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and the service was really quick. The pizza was absolutely delicious – one of the best we had during our trip. We also tried a couple of desserts, and they were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. A wonderful experience from start to finish. We’d happily come back and would recommend it to anyone visiting Gradara 🇮🇹

14/06/2026: Last night, my partner took me to dinner at Nido, and the experience was simply exceptional. Even though the table with a lake view was no longer available, the waiter managed to find us a solution and seated us in a magnificent setting overlooking the lake. Very friendly and attentive, he offered advice throughout the evening as I was hesitating over my choices. The carbonara (fish carbonara) was simply amazing! More generally, everything we tasted was remarkable: from the flavors to the presentation of the dishes, every detail was perfect. The view of the illuminated dam and the village lights in the distance created a magical atmosphere, exactly what we were looking for to end this wonderful day. To my fellow Swiss readers: if you're ever in the area, call ahead and plan your visit. It's not just a restaurant; it's a truly memorable experience.

30/06/2026: Last night I celebrated my birthday at dinner with my children, and we had a truly wonderful time. We started with a cold appetizer, then had some first courses and a tender, rich, and abundant fried fish dish, cooked to perfection. You can taste the quality of the ingredients, from the fish to everything else. A special mention also goes to the homemade round sandwiches, served fresh from the oven, hot and delicious. Even though etiquette dictates against it, I couldn't resist mopping up the bread! To finish, being a great dessert lover, I tried a truly excellent tiramisu and a Chantilly cream with a berry topping, fresh and delicious. It was a pleasant dinner and a wonderful birthday evening. Congratulations to the entire staff!

Both in the sashimi and the carpaccio, you can clearly taste the freshness of the fish and the dedication the staff puts into each dish: authentic flavors, carefully prepared ingredients, and great attention to detail. The place is very beautiful, with a distinctive style that makes it unique and enjoyable, even for a special dinner. The service is always friendly and professional, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere. On some evenings, you may also find musical entertainment or dancing, which adds an extra touch to the experience. I always enjoy returning when I'm in the area. The prices are in line with the quality of the product, absolutely justified.

It's an intimate, family-run establishment in a 19th-century style—as the name suggests—focused on the quality of the food and excellent service rather than the number of customers; so reservations 📞 are highly recommended. The local specialties were perfect: from the spaghetti alla Dolce Amatrice 🍝 to the dessert, the Cupola d'Ascoli 🧁, filled with the iconic Anisetta 🍾. The meat dishes are also excellent, with refined options like the lamb stew 🥩 and pork cheek 🥓 seasoned with balsamic onions 🧅, accompanied by standard vegetable side dishes... 🥔🍆🍅 The only negative: the spaghetti was too al dente! I recommend not cooking them as long as strictly necessary ⏲️, since the pasta is already tending towards the tough side... The sauce, I repeat, is "the best", but it took a set of teeth 🦷🦷 still as firm as ours to chew them. The waiting times were completely tolerable despite the crowd, so a few extra minutes won't spoil the pleasure of enjoying perfectly cooked pasta... 😊
