03/06/2025: I've been going to Vergnano since it changed management almost a year ago and honestly I wouldn't take my coffee breaks anywhere else. The location is exactly the same as before, a "historic" place that reflects the center of Monza, but the environment is definitely a whole other story. You walk in and immediately find a friendly greeting accompanied by a smile, someone who despite being busy serving lots of people, finds the time to ask you how it's going. If you're a regular, they also remember what you usually eat and prepare it for you without even having to order it. Those rare times then, when I decide to take a longer and more comfortable break, I sit at a table and wait to be "served" consuming my order in peace... I spend 50 cents of extra money more than willingly because it's really not much, after all I find the table free, clean, cleared as soon as I finish, and most importantly, I enjoy a corner of tranquility. If we then add that the coffee is really good, as are the brioches, the shortbreads and the chocolates, well, you don't want to stop? I almost forgot, every now and then I also buy coffee to drink at home... since it also works as a roaster...

14/12/2024: The place is really beautiful, warm atmosphere and excellent welcome. Great professionalism certainly due to more than thirty years of family management. Definitely appreciated after dinner, a bottle of pleasant Nero d'Avola Bio 2022 vintage, a delicious focaccia and a platter with quality cold cuts. Must try. To return. Highly recommended!

23/05/2025: TERRIBILE !!!!!!! Ci hanno fatto cambiare il tavolo dopo che ci avevano già servito acqua e pane!!! Hanno tavoli da 6 dove mettono persone estranee sedute insieme!!! Qualità del cibo pessima! E il secondo piatto non è arrivato e ce ne siamo andati!!! Il menù fisso è 10€ Io e il mio compagno abbiamo preso solo i primi perché il secondo dopo mezz ora ancora non c era! E comunque abbiamo pagato l intero menù perché solo il primo da menu costa 9€ Mi viene da ridere .. ma posti così devo assolutamente chiudere!!! Non tornerò mai più, neanche per un bicchiere d’acqua.

23/04/2025: Il ristorante ha da poco cambiato gestione e ha aumentato l'offerta di piatti a base di carne alla brace. Esperienza tutto sommato positiva. Il locale è pulito e ordinato, il rapporto qualità/prezzo è davvero invitante. Personale di sala un po' inesperto, ma penso fosse dovuto alle festività di Pasqua. Tutto sommato ci tornerò volentieri. Da segnalare che alla sera (nel periodo in cui scrivo) è possibile prenotare con The Fork usufruendo dello sconto.

28/09/2024: We had been to this restaurant previously, when it was still the Barbisa trattoria. Now it's still them but with a different name, even if the name of the restaurant is unchanged on the internet and the old menu is still available. The first time we had a pretty good time, even if some dishes were absolutely not up to the price offered. When we returned the second time we discovered that the menu had been changed and that they no longer made pizza. In conclusion we ate an overcooked risotto with lots of cheese (it was requested not to cream the risotto with butter/cheese). The pappardelle with wild boar ragout was really heavy, it felt like I was eating mostly fat and oil. These last two dishes arrived 1 hour after ordering. Finally, the mixed fried food ordered was soft and salty. Personally we were very disappointed, also because the prices have increased a lot since the last time, without improving the cuisine and the experience it leaves for the customer.

04/05/2025: We had a really good time. Friendly and friendly staff, excellent food and a really nice place. The pizzas are excellent and can boast three different types of dough. Really excellent starters. A wonderful discovery.

23/06/2025: Experience not to be repeated. Ordered cockerel and served as if it were dehydrated. It was impossible to eat. Really poor quality and cooked worse. I don't know how he can work with those Prices. A cockerel, a pizza, a hamburger with sausage, 3 drinks a coffee..... 88 euros! Almost 30 euros each... I didn't eat any Gold....... Well...... I expressed my disappointment.... After his response are you telling me That I shouldn't have paid?

24/04/2025: Horroroso, La atención PESIMA , MALAS CARAS MALOS MODOS , DESPUES DE reclamar el pedido 3 veces y pedir cancelarlo ya que llevábamos 45 min esperando unos ñoquis sosos, un tartar sin sabor a nada dios ni aceite tenía 95 euros recomiendo NO ACERCARSE horrible
