Ristorante Indiano da Angelo In Sabbioneta

Very clean and accommodating place, smiling and professional people, very good food for Italian palates, one of my favorite Indian restaurants

I know this will sound ridiculous, and, ristorante Angelo is a DESTINATION restaurant (yes, you should come to Sabbioneta just to eat this food.). Yes, yes I know it’s in Sabbioneta… and, the food is fantastic and authentic Indian cuisine. We had the Tandoori chicken, tikka masala and I didn’t even know there was a cheese naan until now. I’ve had a lot of great Indian food in many places, and Angelo’s matches m the best of them. Bravo!!

In Sabbioneta, it's the only place where I've found genuine attention and helpfulness when I told them I'm vegan. They have tons of vegan-friendly dishes, really good food, a clean atmosphere, and incredibly friendly staff! They even paid special attention to my mom, who doesn't like spicy food, and to my nephew, who even got a freebie at the end. My compliments!

While visiting Sabbioneta, we'd already spotted this place for its Indian food. I have to admit, I've only eaten real Indian food five times in my life. The food here is exceptional, in my opinion! The service is excellent and courteous. If I could give it six stars, I would!

Out of curiosity, we decided to try this Indian restaurant in Sabbioneta one Thursday evening. The sign outside, "Angelo," is very cute and immediately points you to the entrance. The manager was there to welcome us and immediately proved to be super kind and helpful. The food was perhaps the best Indian food I've ever had. Congratulations! The place needs a bit of a makeover, but we've been told there will be a complete renovation soon, and we can't wait to return and see the results! Congratulations again! I forgot, the price is very fair!
