Top-quality Nebbiolo. We discovered this place by chance last week, a wonderful surprise, and we've been back and will continue to do so.

07/09/2025: This restaurant is located in a picturesque area on the hills of Campomorone, where parking will be your first problem. Let's start with the nonexistent welcome from the lady at the cashier, who could only say "over there." On the other hand, the young man who took our order and looked after the dining room all evening was delightful. Let's continue with dirty glasses (there was no limescale). The pizza is a bit disappointing, with the same problem I've encountered in many other pizzerias in Liguria: it's thin and poorly leavened, more like a biscuit. Buffalo mozzarella on the pizza? I didn't see it. Torta della nonna was another disappointment, with extremely sweet and hard pastry, so hard that I couldn't break it with a spoon (and it wasn't because it had been in the refrigerator). The payment moment was awkward. If you ask me "card or cash?" and add "I only have two keys," you can't respond angrily if I ask you the amount to pay so I can see if the cash I have is sufficient. And finally, when it was time to say goodbye, none of us received a response. In short, if you're passing through and have no other options, you can give it a try. Just don't expect too much.

The main courses are equally impressive: the roast beef and venison with fried porcini mushrooms are tender and flavorful. But the real highlight comes with dessert: the pistachio meringue, a unique delight that alone is worth the trip. It's not a restaurant located on the main road; it's tucked away in a small village, but perhaps that's what makes it special. Book early, because tables fill up quickly. I'll definitely be back!
