23/09/2025: A little set back in the old streets of Bordighera, in a beautifully decorated little square, we enjoy the tasty and well-presented specialties: a fish steak from the catch of the day and its crunchy vegetable medley, and for dessert the famous tiramisu, pimped with caramel cream and a chocolate crisp. We also appreciate the fact that the waiters speak French and that the menus are translated. This is a valuable help even if the diversity of Italian pasta is untranslatable and requires an explanation, kindly provided.

We were blown away on our very first visit – the food is divine, every single dish prepared with such love and finesse that you'll never want to eat anywhere else. The atmosphere is simply dreamy: candlelight, white tablecloths, soft music, and in summer, dinner under the fig tree – it couldn't be more romantic. The staff is exceptionally warm and attentive without being intrusive. You immediately feel welcome and cared for. A particularly lovely touch: the daily changing menu is lovingly handwritten, and the hosts are happy to help with the translation and selection. A truly soulful restaurant that you'll never forget. 21/08/2025: Easy to get to (less than a 10-minute drive from the coast). Private parking. The interior is cozy and comfortable, complemented by a lovely terrace for al fresco summer dining. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The cuisine is amazing, with both seafood and meat dishes. Everything is delicious, but the capon magro and fish soup are truly exceptional. The wine list is well-stocked and perfectly complements the menu. Excellent value. Simply ESSENTIAL.

22/09/2025: Maybe it's the atmosphere, the novelty, or the location, considering that part of the portico we saw, but it seemed like a fantastic place to us. All this without diminishing the deliciousness and abundance of the dishes we enjoyed, all served with great professionalism and kindness. Those five or six tight hairpin bends are definitely worth the effort, especially for the view from that height. Parking wasn't a problem for us, especially since it was late September. We'll definitely be back to try their other dishes.
