30/07/2025: The place is noisy and the service is rather slow. The appetizers are excellent, the first courses are average.

03/09/2025: Ordered it spontaneously yesterday. The pizza was delicious, but I've never had pasta carbonara without egg and Parmesan cheese. It's hard to believe that you'd get pasta tossed in butter with a bit of bacon. My wife had pasta tossed in butter with two prawns. At least the pasta was al dente. Maybe that was the tourist bonus.

28/08/2025: A welcoming and well-kept restaurant, with pleasant service and perfect wait times. As for the food, the quality of the ingredients is good, but the recipes are rather banal, and the dishes generally lack character and are dull. As for the quality/price ratio, there are better options within a 5 km radius.

24/08/2025: Friendly and helpful staff, lovely outdoor seating in the church square. Food was good, but below expectations (given the numerous 5-star reviews), and the menu on the website didn't match the actual menu. In our opinion, it was expensive for the amount of food served.

15/06/2025: A family environment where the food is cooked with love and served with simplicity and courtesy. Ravioli and mixed appetizer top! There were twenty-five of us at the table and with the whole place full the quality of the food was excellent!

27/08/2025: Testaroli are raw and thin, like a crepe. The ones from the supermarket are better. The pesto is good. The octopus consists of a single tentacle on top of maybe half a tablespoon of potato puree. Not worth the price.

26/08/2025: I had lunch on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Hostaria Marcomando in Sarzana with my wife and a couple of relatives of our time. We arrived late, well after 2 p.m., but the owner was quick to welcome us. It was hot, but the narrow street in the center was breezy, and the umbrellas did their job. I ordered the testaroli because they're typical of the area, and I was right, as they were quite original. Usually, testaroli are very large, larger than a pizza, and are cut into squares, but these were whole, the size of a focaccia. Three testaroli, three different toppings, and a remarkable delight. I didn't order a second course because I don't like eating meat, even though I'm not vegetarian, so I ordered the green tagliatelle, cacio e pepe, with shrimp tartare. These were also phenomenal. So why four stars? Because the place, outside, was rather spartan. Hard chairs, set with paper placemats and napkins. Nothing wrong with that, because it's okay to be outside in the summer, but, in my opinion, they detract somewhat from the pleasantness of the experience. The interior is very nice and almost cooler. The bathroom is excellent, even with a window, which is a plus. Prices are very reasonable, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Since Sarzana, especially during the "La Soffitta nella Strada" event, is a little gem, I highly recommend both the place and the Ligurian town. Oh, and I shared my reviews with others, so you should know that I'm not just one, but four opinions at once. :D

30/07/2025: I had the opportunity to dine here; the atmosphere was nice and the place very welcoming. The burger I had was very good, and the prices seemed quite reasonable. I'll definitely be back.

30/07/2025: We returned last night for the second time. The girl who welcomed and served us was very kind and friendly. The dishes were generous, and the fries were crispy. The quality/price ratio was excellent. I recommend it!

25/07/2025: Non frequentiamo molto la darsena di Savona. Un po' per pigrizia, un po' per raggiunti limiti di età... l'ultima volta che siamo passati, circa 3 mesi fa, abbiamo notato questo locale, lo abbiamo annotato per una prossima visita. Avvenuta sabato scorso. Devo dire che ci siamo trovati veramente bene. I piatti sono generosi e gustosi, il personale ed i titolari molto cortesi, simpatici e non invadenti. Personalmente ho provato i pici cacio e pepe e la grigliata di carne e devo dire che sono rimasto veramente soddisfatto. Credo torneremo presto.

From the welcome to the service, the staff was incredibly friendly, and there was always someone ready to accommodate our requests. The food was delicious, beyond our expectations, and the bill was absolutely reasonable for the quality and quantity. Excellent!

20/07/2025: We went for dinner twice because we really enjoyed it. The waitress was lovely, and the food was fantastic. The dishes were very tasty and tasty. Typical, homemade Italian food. I'll definitely go back.

08/07/2025: Nice and very friendly staff, delicious pizzas, authentic atmosphere. It was too hot for us because there was no air conditioning. We also saw nice desserts but still wanted to eat them somewhere else. We came back after a week. The food was excellent this time too.
