21/11/2025: A small bistro in an alley next to the main square! The main room has 6 tables! Perfect for breakfast, lunch, and aperitifs! The menu offers sandwiches, salads, meat tartare, one fish dish, and burgers! The bill for one person with an entree, a glass of wine, water, coffee, and a dessert came to 27 euros! The crowd is local! A regular spot for lunch!

29/10/2025: Lunches at this restaurant are absolutely delicious: the location on Vico San Matteo, in the heart of Genoa's historic center, and the stylish interior are a winning combination. The staff is very friendly (they allow for personal variations on the dishes), and the menu is excellent: the Papavero salad with turkey, tomatoes, poppy seeds, walnuts, and burrata—requested as a substitute for mozzarella—is delicious, as are the sandwiches. The various soups or minestrone with legumes in the winter are also delicious, as are the various desserts available from time to time. The price is truly reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly recommended!

23/12/2025: A pleasant, modern restaurant, quite crowded, with friendly waiters. The pizza is top-notch, one of the best in Genoa. As often happens with beautiful women, you tend to find the slightest flaws. The contemporary, very moist dough is good, but not the lightest. In my opinion, it should have been cooked a few seconds longer. Good-quality toppings. The temperature of the restaurant and the plate, which aren't too hot, tend to cool the pizza quickly, even though I'm a fast eater. The crust my companion left was still good even when cold, a good sign. The pesto added to the pizza I chose wasn't the best. Perhaps a modified basil sauce should be used instead of the classic pesto. I'd like to give it a 4.5, but it's impossible, and 5 is hard to give. 2 specialty pizzas and 2 medium beers: €48. Not cheap for a pizzeria, but in line with the quality offered. Anyway, it's worth a try, and I'll definitely be back. Recommended.

12/04/2026: We chose this pizzeria because of its good ratings. But personally, we were very disappointed: by the quality of the pizzas—minimal toppings and very bitter mozzarella—and by the desserts, which we found expensive (€7) for what they were: bland, mass-produced tarts or tiramisu, served in very small portions. The waitress, who spoke French, was very friendly, but unfortunately, our dining experience was very disappointing.

08/04/2026: We didn’t like the cheese, and all our pizzas had a strange taste. The service was okay, but we had a bad first impression due to a cold welcome. The dessert prices are excessive compared to their size (very small), and they’re not even homemade. I do not recommend it.

25/02/2026: I think they can close right now... we wait because the place was full... he tells us that the first table that becomes available is yours... in the meantime, other people arrive and shamelessly skip past us and sit at our table... the owner, instead of asking them to get up, says... I'm sorry, they've already sat down!!! They were treated less than nothing... shameful!!! Let's hope no one goes there again!!!!!!

24/03/2026: We had dinner for two at this small, slightly hidden trattoria in the village of Voltri. We had an appetizer of mussels and sardines, an excellent plate of trofie with pesto, and two mixed fried dishes. Everything was excellent, the atmosphere small but elegant, and the service from the lady was excellent.

31/08/2025: A beautiful haven of tranquility where fine cuisine meets a passion for making guests feel good. Revisited Ligurian cuisine, yet respectful of the ingredients, excellent local wine pairings, and careful selection of small producers who also produce unusual wines. Finally, a lovely, quiet outdoor area, far from the hustle and bustle of Sestri Levante's center. A wonderful restaurant project that deserves to be appreciated and supported (even compared to an otherwise rather standard local cuisine).

19/03/2026: My favorite creperie since I was a girl, and I've never found better crepes around the world, not even in France!!! And can we talk about the sandwiches? YUM!

02/01/2026: The best place to grab a crepe, sweet or savory, a sandwich, or bruschetta. For lunch or dinner. And why not even for a snack? Highly recommended.

19/10/2025: High-quality food prepared impeccably, friendly and professional staff, a location chosen by these fantastic guys who have tastefully revived it, and a wide and refined selection of natural wines. Don't be put off by the 10-minute drive from the center of Finale Ligure (a good stretch of which is on dirt road), once you've visited Valleponci, you'll understand it was worth it. We return AT LEAST once a year because we can't live without it.

09/10/2025: A beautiful and peaceful spot near the coast – easily accessible by car bike. The place has a wonderful authentic atmosphere, and we met some amazing people there. We only had the apero, but it was excellent. I was a bit surprised that olives weren’t included, but it seems to be common in all the places we visited.

17/04/2026: It's become my favorite pizza place. A simple yet characterful, well-maintained place. I've tried both the focaccia and the pizza, light and digestible dough, top-quality ingredients. They also have off-menu options; I tried the stuffed pizza, and although I'm not a fan of overly topped pizzas, I really enjoyed it. The desserts are homemade, beautifully presented, and equally remarkable in taste and flavor (the three-chocolate cake is superb). In conclusion, if you're looking for a place with character and a distinct identity that offers careful selection, quality ingredients (substance and minimal showmanship), thoughtful selection, and a touch of imagination (well done), go to this pizzeria.
