15/09/2025: Honestly, I expected more. Probably, after reading the reviews, I had too many expectations. I had the spaghetti with mussels and saffron, which was good but nothing special. There were very few mussels, and unfortunately, for someone like me who can't tolerate spicy foods, they were spicy. Not excessively, but there was some chili pepper, and it wasn't mentioned. The staff were very kind, and the location was beautiful.

29/09/2025: I attended a wedding at Villa Passo d'Oro and was struck by the beauty of the venue, the impeccable organization, and the attentive service. The food was excellent and the atmosphere magical: a perfect place for a special event.

14/06/2025: Amazing dining experience! Went for lunch multiple days and stayed at the Eight hotel so were often patrons of the beach club as well. Bilal made our experience truly amazing though. He was attentive, friendly, respectful, funny, entertaining and truly the best server we have ever had, even at our home in the United States! We will always cherish the restaurant and beach club at 8 Paraggi because of Bilal. Best server and service ever. Our whole family loves him!

02/10/2025: Excellent seafood. I really enjoyed the mussels alla diavola, even though I'm not a seafood lover. They were really well done, as were the trofie with pesto. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly. The view of the harbor is very pleasant.

29/09/2025: Linguine with clams, Ligurian-style, out of this world. The food was generous and very well-prepared, with generous portions. The location was beautiful, and the service was excellent.

12/10/2025: Delicious pizza and very friendly staff. We found the pizzas tasty, but they were very bland. A bit more seasoning (especially salt) would have tasted even better. But definitely recommended.

09/10/2025: I'm delighted to write this review because it's hard to find a place that manages to satisfy all these aspects: the pleasant antique furnishings with different tables, as well as the tablecloths and dishes; a place that seems truly designed to let you escape, at least for a few hours, the frenzy that we all fall prey to; the owner who welcomes you with a smile, immediately creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere; the undoubtedly high-quality cuisine, with service that combines family simplicity with attentiveness to the guest. 21/09/2025: We were ignored by the wait staff and couldn't order anything. As a result, we left the restaurant without eating...very unusual.

28/10/2025: Super cute latte art! The pistachio croissant was also soft and delicious. Although I don't speak Italian very well, the staff still welcomed me warmly. There are plenty of tables inside and outside the store for customers. Don't miss this place!

25/10/2025: We stumbled upon this pastry shop by chance on a Sunday morning in a still-deserted Genoa and were drawn in by the delicious aroma. We discovered the delicious brioche chifferi, so good we even bought some to take away, and they kept their fragrance until the next day (I know, it's a crime not to have eaten them before...). Truly, congratulations!

12/10/2025: RESPECT! Respect is required. Anyone who offers you a fish soup (CIUPPIN in dialect) for the modest sum of €19 and serves you a broth with 4 mussels, 6 clams, 1 small squid, and what were supposed to be anchovies (a fish too small for soup), but which I couldn't count because they fell apart during cooking (leaving the bones intact), serves a nearly inedible dish, certainly not restaurant-quality. This is a recipe made with "poor" fish, a red mullet, a small white sea bream, a barchetta (I don't know what it's called in Italian), etc. The cost per serving is, however, offset by the time it takes (in this case, there wasn't any!) to clean the cooked fish, to serve the cleaned pieces, so they can be eaten with a spoon. This was simply a poor dish, without care or respect. They didn't even bother to serve the classic slice of toasted bread (too much effort!) to accompany the dish. The waiter approached and asked if something was wrong. I replied that what was wrong wasn't something that WAS there, but something that WASN'T there. He never returned. A fine example of Ligurian hospitality!

14/09/2025: Super lazy, we came to an empty restaurant, no one paid us attention, finally a waiter came to us and told us it is fully reserved. We asked about all the empty tables on the terrace bit he said they don't serve there... If you are determined to eat there make preliminary reservation

19/09/2025: The evening started well, thanks to excellent service, but unfortunately, the food made it worse. The prices were too high for the average quality, neither good nor bad, and the portions were also meager. Six marinated anchovies, €15; pasta with clams, seven clams, undercooked; tuna completely tasteless. When the waiter asked, "Was everything okay?", I pointed out one of the dinner's many flaws, and was told he would report it to the owner. The bill arrived: full price, not even a single euro off to reach the right figure. Beautiful location, well-suited to attract tourists, but the substance was completely lacking.

09/09/2025: Every time we return to Camogli, lunch or dinner at Vento Ariel is a must. The fish is fresh and excellent, the staff is very kind, and the location on the port is beautiful.
