03/09/2025: Restaurant with a sea view. The food was excellent, the tagliata steak was delicious, as was the jumbo burger. The desserts were also excellent, the peach tiramisu was truly delicious. Very friendly staff. Recommended!

17/08/2025: Ivana and Fausto, along with their staff, make you feel at home. Their cuisine is spectacular, everything about it, no matter what you choose to eat. My review is focused on those who, like me, have intolerances (gluten and lactose). They take great care in creating tailor-made dishes, from the starter to the dessert, and they're delicious. I've eaten several specialties and loved everything. And, as a true Genoese, their pesto is truly delicious. Highly recommended ❤️ Thanks to Ivana and Fausto for their professionalism, passion, and dedication, which shines through in their dishes, and for all the attention they give to making me feel at home.

18/08/2025: The food isn't very good. The caprese salad (a mozzarella cheese) was neither good nor plentiful. Although it was a starter, 6 meager slices of not-so-fresh tomatoes from the cafeteria and half a mozzarella for 13 euros is a bit pricey; even in Paris, we wouldn't have dared... We also had a four-cheese pizza, which honestly wasn't bad, but unlike all the ones we've eaten in Italy, the crust wasn't really good, quite thin and rather hard. The cocktails were okay but not excellent. We also had a tiramisu and a chocolate cake for dessert. The first was okay, but again, far from the best, and as for the chocolate cake, don't even try it; the slice is small and it's really not good. If you still want to come, be aware that you'll have to plan on at least an hour and a half, as the service is really slow and disorganized. If the servers are interested, we would be happy to host them for an internship in a Parisian brasserie. Despite this, they remain quite friendly and welcoming. In short, if you have the choice, give this restaurant a miss, but this restaurant is not to be avoided either.

17/08/2025: What can I say? We found it by chance while strolling through Riomaggiore, drawn by the very welcoming and homey place, in the tortuous search for someone to seat us for dinner (impossible after 9:30). We were welcomed by Andrea, I think? He treated us super well from the start, joking and laughing, obviously always in a professional manner. He explained the menu, or rather, told us about it, and I, being super curious, asked question after question, always greeted in a friendly manner (which is not a given given it's almost closing time). The dishes were truly delicious, among the best we tasted on our "tour" of the Cinque Terre. I highly recommend the zucchini, shrimp, and lemon gnocchi from Rio. As for the rest, take all the recommendations; they know what they're talking about. As for the prices, especially considering where we are, they're not particularly high, the quality is excellent, and considering other places, we may have paid less but had less good food, so for value, they're the best. Thanks for the experience.

07/07/2025: It is one of the most famous squares in the city and it exudes like a park, given the numerous green flowerbeds. Being bordered on one side by the gardens of Giuseppe Verdi, you can see the opposite side of the same where the Brignole railway station is located, of which it seems to be the natural contiguous space that continues towards the low rise of the Galliera Hospital and the sea. On this part of the grassy surface, three caravels are traced in the greenery and with flowers. The symbol and symmetrical center is the Arch of Victory, a monument to the fallen of the First World War. The consulates of Peru, the United Kingdom, the INPS Palace and the National Hydrocarbons Agency overlook it. The square, given the vast space available, has hosted highly interesting Eucharistic celebrations, concerts and events. Dating back to the Thirties, it boasts an underground car park since the Nineties. Traces of human activity in this area from the 4th - 5th century BC were found.

18/08/2025: Worth a try: the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is of a good standard, both in quantity and price. I recommend the Ligurian dishes and the mixed fried fish. You can eat outside, and dogs are welcome.

16/08/2025: Here we are... I really enjoyed the grilled fish, abundant, cooked just right with different types of fish: dogfish, salmon, prawns, squid... and the dessert... the dessert... I'll leave you with a picture so you can fantasize about its deliciousness. The location was beautiful, on the hill... in the cool shade of a beautiful pergola lit by fireflies... I'd say it was almost magical!

24/08/2025: Second, but terrible, experience. After an initial dinner with Porro pasta and various good-quality appetizers, we unfortunately decided to have pizza on a second occasion. The pizza was scandalous; I'm sorry to say that a dish like that shouldn't be served. It was poorly made, dirty, full of black residue, and inedible. We didn't want to cause a fuss since the place was full, but we certainly won't be back.

12/08/2025: I've been there twice. Very disappointing. Cold staff and brioches unworthy of a name that's listed in all the industry guides. It must be a historic pastry shop that thrives on its profits. -------------------------------------------------- I must have been unlucky in my choice. Compared to the many cafes and pastry shops around Italy that make do with leavened products, the croissants I ate at your place left a lot to be desired. What's your specialty? I'll test you on that.

17/08/2025: A lovely restaurant, located in the picturesque and charming town of Boccadasse, directly overlooking the sea. Its location is both impressive and worthy. As for the restaurant, it can be improved. The service was attentive, but with some small flaws. It could be improved. The dishes we ordered were a mixed bag. Good appetizers, both in quality and quantity. The first courses were excellent, both in quality and quantity, and well-cooked. The second courses were a bit disappointing. Of the three second courses, one was well-made, both in quality and cooking. I'm talking about a grilled sea bream. However, the other two left us quite disappointed. A friend of mine and I ordered two grilled fish dishes. The presentation of the dish was basic. But above all, the quality of the fish was not top-notch. The fish was not fresh. For a seaside restaurant, where you pay what you owe for quality food, much, much more can be done. The problem isn't the price we paid. But it's what we expected to taste for that price. It can definitely be improved.

25/08/2025: It was a wonderful stop... a place immersed in nature and an overwhelming air... peaceful... full of silence... we ate really well... an unforgettable cheese focaccia and dessert... made with so much passion... the managers are welcoming people of great simplicity... everything was excellent, compliments... even the orange liqueur made by them... I wholeheartedly recommend stopping at this refuge... thanks again

Ingredienti genuini, sapori autentici e porzioni generose rendono ogni pasto un’esperienza indimenticabile. I gestori sono di una gentilezza rara, sempre sorridenti e pronti a farti sentire a casa. Ambiente accogliente, caldo e curato nei dettagli. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca la vera cucina casalinga!
