18/11/2025: I had a very confusing experience here but felt compelled to write a review. After visiting a few times and trying the pizza, cannolis, and focaccia, I concluded that the food was made with love and that I would be sure to put this on my map as “best of Genoa” to share with friends and family. Sadly, the last day we visited, we must have done something wrong because there blonde lady behind the counter seemed to hate us. Perhaps our smiles and greetings were lacking and she found us rude. Some locals came in after us but we waited patiently as they ordered first so we could look at all the delicious food and decide what to have and how to ask in Italian so we could learn. This woman had no patience with us and talked about us to her colleague disapprovingly towards us. I shyly ordered sensing tension and when I pulled out my phone to ask to pay on card she looked disgusted and put the card reader down and walked away. I felt so hurt by this experience because I feel so much love for these wonderful local spots, trying to respect their customs and be observant but I felt like a total idiot here, and my day was ruined. That is until I ate the pizza I bought which was excellent, amazing sauce, perfect crust and delicious cheese.

15/11/2025: I'm almost tempted not to leave a review, so as not to spread too much about this place and risk losing access to their products... but it's only fair to give credit where credit is due. I've tried so many, and this is undoubtedly the best bakery in Genoa. Not just the focaccia—which is amazing—but also the pizza, mini pizzas, cheese focaccia, meatloaf... everything is exceptional. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is truly friendly. Even though I don't live in the area, I try to stop by whenever I can.

07/12/2025: Excellent welcoming service and excellent food.

03/11/2025: We arrive in a large parking lot surrounded by greenery. We enter a place between the "piola" and the "taverna"—a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Good service and tasty, well-portioned dishes. There were four of us, but the bill was split between three of us. "Ladies don't pay!" 😆

13/12/2025: Panigacci were lovely, crispy, and very good. The suckling pig was incredibly tender. The crema catalana was good. The place is small but cozy, with very friendly service and friendly staff. The four of us spent €35 each, a fair price. These days, if you want to eat well, you can't spend less than €35 per person, especially if you eat meat. I recommend it and will definitely be back.

20/11/2025: Everything was perfect, the best ribs I've ever eaten, the staff were incredibly kind, they even found a candle for my partner's birthday, we'll definitely be back. Thank you so much.

28/11/2025: An exquisite place. The best pizza I've ever had. The crust is incredibly thin and delicate, with top-quality ingredients. Served by the owners themselves, who boast over 50 years of experience. The only thing I would have added is some background music. Otherwise? Wonderful. I highly recommend the Genoa pizza. A must-visit if you're in Genoa ♥️🍕🇮🇹

However, since there was a response, I'll add that what I understand isn't your place to imply. I assure you, I understand, and perhaps even more than you do. 13/10/2025: I just returned home after spending a week in Santa Margherita Ligure. Six of seven days (they're closed on Sundays) this is were I got my breakfast. The best focaccia I've ever have tasted, kind service and they open early. Thanks!

07/10/2025: Located near the port area, coming from the center, go past the castle, stay on the same side, enter one of the narrow streets, and you'll find yourself before this treasure trove of goodness and authenticity. I confess, it's the first time pizzas and focaccias haven't made me thirsty enough to drink a liter of water as soon as I digest them. Good to know, then. It will be my go-to place in beautiful Santa Margherita Ligure. But not just focaccias, pizzas, and bread, but also sweets, which I'll definitely buy. Friendly service, too. See you soon.

14/09/2025: The working hours should be corrected. There is a pause in service. The kitchen doesn't accept orders after 2pm. We came at 2:30 pm from far away and the service was over.

07/11/2025: A little spot nestled in the charming village of Seborga. Eating on the summer terrace was romantic, and the owner was super kind and welcoming. The typical Ligurian dishes were delicious and plentiful, such as the rabbit Seborga-style. Highly recommended!

02/11/2025: Excellent restaurant in the charming village of Seborga. Lovely sisters/owners. The food is total perfection. Best rabbit, chips and salad ever. We try and eat here several times every year. It never disappoints. Open for lunch and closed on Tuesdays. Definitely worth the drive to dine at this hidden gem in the hills of Liguria. 5 stars 🌟

29/11/2025: Found by chance. A place that smells of good old-fashioned flavors. The wood-fired oven makes the farinata crispier and tastier. The best I've ever eaten. We ordered a very large platter that we couldn't finish. Very kind and helpful. We'll be back.

29/10/2025: What can I say? If my trusted pastry shop has been a temple of chocolate for over thirty years, even though I'm from the Bisagno Valley, there must be a reason! Gianluca is truly an artist in his work; you can see he's passionate about it; just look at his Instagram profile to see it. He's never disappointed me, from his cakes to his magnificent pastries. Even his window displays are jaw-dropping masterpieces. And if you think this review is fake, try it for yourself and you'll agree. A huge thank you to Gianluca and his wife for their professionalism and kindness, which have always distinguished them. 5 stars and honors
