04/09/2025: This evening I tried to return to this restaurant only to find it had been fully booked for an association event. It's my fault for not calling, but since it's September and it's a Thursday, I wouldn't have expected any problems. I was surprised they hadn't reserved tables for other customers. Overall, I was annoyed and disappointed. I remember the restaurant serving good food in a simple setting. If you want to go, remember to call ahead!

05/08/2025: Very pleasant atmosphere, very kind and helpful staff. I recommend the piadina with prosciutto, arugula, and crescenza cheese—it's really good. They have a wide selection of drinks, and the bartender is really good.

04/06/2025: A splendid location, where every detail is taken care of to perfection I had the privilege of attending a wedding in this splendid Villa overlooking one of the most evocative views of Genoa, and I can say without hesitation that it is a place that enchants and conquers from the first moment. The atmosphere is elegant, welcoming, with spaces designed to fully enjoy the beauty of the landscape, enjoying in total relaxation the extraordinary creations of a kitchen brigade that combines competence, passion and creativity. Each dish served was a small masterpiece, cared for in the presentation and impeccable in taste. The entire menu enhanced the local flavors with a contemporary touch, leaving all the guests enthusiastic. One aspect that deserves a special mention is the attention and availability shown towards the professionals involved in the event: they were supported by the staff with great professionalism, receiving logistical and technical assistance that allowed them to work in the best possible conditions. This contributed significantly to the success of the entire day, making it fluid, harmonious and without hitches. It is rare to find a location that manages to combine beauty, quality of service and collaboration between all the actors involved so well. A true gem for those who dream of a perfect wedding, without stress and with the certainty of being in good hands. Absolutely recommended!

18/08/2025: I ate here with three friends despite the idea that restaurants in the center of Sestri are now mostly tourist traps. That idea was quickly dispelled by the friendliness and warmth of the owner and waiters, as well as the excellent flavor of the dishes. The testaroli, which I tried with the original pesto, were truly excellent. Furthermore, the other first courses, second courses, and desserts were also of high quality. Perhaps the only thing I wouldn't order again were the meatballs, which were good but lacked something... in their defense, the accompanying sauce was superb. The price was reasonable for the amount we ate, and we left feeling quite full. Highly recommended!

10/07/2025: Horrible. Just horrible! Waiting for food for 2 hours!!!!!! The food is tasteless! Two waiters for 9 tables. The hot food was brought cold! I didn't even eat it, the waiter didn't even ask if everything was okay! The only thing that was tasty was the bread with pesto! My friend's dishes were also inedible! I honestly don't understand where such a rating came from. The place is just disgusting! I don't recommend it to anyone! Horrible experience!!! One star only for the ceiling! The worst Michelin restaurant in my experience

20/08/2025: In my experience in Genoa, this is the best brunch. I've been several times and it's always good. The food, the service, and the location in San Matteo are exceptional. The stars are 4 and not 5 because, in my opinion, the prices are excessive.

08/08/2025: Cover charge was 6 euros per person, over a third of my bill. Food was decent, nothing special. My bill was 31 and the cover charge for two was 12. Not worth it at all.

15/03/2025: Ezio has been a fixed point of reference since high school, and I'm talking about more than 30 years ago! The quality has never decreased, indeed if possible it has increased, with more choice of pizzas, all delicious and with even daring combinations. The toast stuffed with mushrooms is a must, absolutely to try.

16/08/2025: Excellent Ligurian cuisine (trofie with pesto, walnut pansotti with butter and sage, and octopus salad). No air conditioning. Service could be improved. Limited tables; reservations recommended. There are also off-menu items written on a chalkboard. Parking is difficult to find as the place is located in a pedestrian area, on an alley next to a large church.

22/08/2025: Enchanting location. The food is very good and the menu is very varied. The staff is incredibly kind and exudes incredible passion for their neighborhood. Truly an extremely pleasant place.

The owner was immediately kind and helpful, but above all, flexible with his schedule to accommodate us. Highly recommended for a quick, tasty meal.
