14/10/2025: Sat outside the restaurant for lunch. No problem getting seated or service. Menu on the outside wall. I had rabbit, a favorite dish, I have not found it on other menus. If you love garlic, this is your place.

27/09/2025: Excellent meals served with good quality/price. We loved the rabbit with its light perfumed sauce and the " pansoti in salsa noce ( eggs fresh pasta stuffed with vegetables with nut sauce ) are the best vegetable raviolis I ever ate (used to the delicious fresh raviolis from Nice)

06/09/2025: €11 fixed menu: generous portions and a good cube. A spacious place for group dinners. Pizza has historically been good, thin crust, and reasonably priced, although the prices displayed inside are probably those from 10 years ago.

01/11/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant; the location is pleasant and the staff very friendly. The food is a shame: the cheese focaccia, as mentioned in other reviews, is very lacking in cheese and the dough lacks salt in my opinion. The seafood spaghetti is plentiful, but the quality of the fish left much to be desired, and above all, the steep price (€38) is inexcusable, given that you only order two portions. The desserts are neither excellent nor laudable, but the price of those, too, is not commensurate with the quality. Overall, the price is too salty for the quality of the food. I would not recommend it.

01/09/2025: We arrived at 12:15 just to be told they open at 12:30, not being offered to look at the menu in the meantime or to sit down somewhere to wait (it was empty). The place is obviously charming, food was ok, very small portions for the price but ok given the location, however the coperto 5€ per person sounds like a scam for a simple trattoria without even proper tablecloths…not to mention there is lots of room for improvement in the service and the welcome.

24/08/2025: I'd like to give it 100 stars, but I can't! Last night I had dinner with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary, and thanks to the wonderful evening, the location, and the dinner, we had a wonderful evening! Excellent food and wine, very fresh fish, and friendly staff. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews that kept us from booking! Some people should do what they know how to do, not keyboard food critics, who probably don't know how to cook a hard-boiled egg! Thank you so much to the owner and our waiter for their kindness! 15/08/2025: Characterful location, excellent food from a truly well-designed tasting menu. If you want to eat in Imperia at a traditional seafood restaurant, this is the place to go. Highly recommended.

01/10/2025: Judging by the over-whelming review responses so far being combative rather than accepting, I did wonder if it were worth writing this. After all, isn’t one positive aspect of an honest review being that those responsible for the establishment can improve? I visited with my husband - one night stay. First things first, acknowledgment where it is due, the owners/people at this establishment are lovely and are intent on giving good service. All are very friendly and courteous -but other than this element, I’m afraid I’m at a loss as to why many other reviews are so at odds with our own recent experience. The views, of course, are absolutely stunning ….. but when that’s been said, nothing else is anywhere close to acceptable, let alone impressive. It’s obvious that the picture-book location is expected to deflect any and all expectations of comfort. There really is precious little. Please don’t expect that the photos were taken this side of the millennium, and at that fast-receding point in time, the decoration and facilities were more than likely passable - but having clearly had zero investment in the fabric since, it has become tired and massively past its sell-by date and in dire need of maintenance on a grand scale. It has to be said, however, that as some buildings fall into decrepitude, they become oddly iconic. Perhaps this is a case in point….. but be warned, don’t expect anything less than an authentic Adam’s Family mansion experience complete with incredible, breath-taking views.

21/09/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel La Riserva di Castel d'Appio. The place is full of charm, the view is magnificent, and the setting is very relaxing. The staff is charming and efficient, whether at reception, at breakfast, or in the restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and the food is of high quality. We will gladly return!

I doubt it, because this morning the sales assistant with bright red nail polish and not exactly short, sliced ​​the mortadella without gloves and filled the pizza I requested like this... no, they are definitely not up to date!!! I clearly didn't buy it!!!

09/06/2025: Uscendo dal centro del paese, abbiamo trovato un ottimo ristorante di pesce . Taglierini ai gamberi rossi e pistacchi di bronte eccezionali. Anche l'orata al forno molto gustosa. La signora molto gentile e simpatica. Ristorante pulito. Torneremo. Grazie per la bella serata

28/07/2025: Wonderful little spot to grab a coffee and a pistachio croissant. It's along the main path but far back enough to get out of the way from the main crowds. It's a quiet little spot, well priced, and a lovely lady working behind the counter Just wish they sold Crema Cafe, but other than that, 5/5
