21/09/2025: Today, September 21, 2025, around 1:30 PM, I went with my family to Piana di Sant'Agostino for a pleasant day, deciding to stop at the Miramare restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be disappointing even before we sat down to eat. At the entrance, we were greeted by a rude and unprofessional staff member. When we refused to answer the question, "Have you ordered?", we were abruptly told that we couldn't enter without a reservation. This was despite the restaurant being practically empty: in a fairly large room, only 4 or 5 tables were occupied. I completely understand the need for a reservation when it's crowded, but what was unacceptable was the tone used, the total lack of courtesy, and the confusion in the way the information was communicated to us. The overall impression was one of a hasty, disorganized welcome, and with no regard for the customer. I don't question the quality of the cuisine, which I haven't had the chance to try, but if this is the first impression you get when you enter the restaurant, it's natural to choose elsewhere, as we did. A restaurant should welcome you with a smile even before the food. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. Best regards. A.S.

15/09/2025: We stayed at this beach for a weekend. I would say that the bathrooms are very small, but the establishment allows both lunch and dinner by reservation. We haven't tried it yet. We stayed on the beach, the sea is exceptional, and they offer beach service with umbrellas and loungers... basically, tranquility and relaxation. We had the standard breakfast... The rest will be evaluated later.

13/09/2025: We had dinner on September 13, 2025, at Il Grottino al Porto. In a plate of spaghetti with clams, I found a piece of metal wire, likely from a steel sponge. This is a serious hygiene issue and a health risk. When we reported the incident, the first waiter simply laughed. Another waiter, when we asked for an explanation, simply shrugged his shoulders, without apologizing or offering a solution. This kind of behavior is absolutely disrespectful and unacceptable. With such high prices, one expects professionalism and safety in the dishes. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience: not recommended.

13/09/2025: Casual family dinner. Good food but not very professional. Wine without basket. 45 minute wait between the first and second courses. Also, a nice snapper was shown and not cleaned in front of us, so we started to doubt whether it was ours.

09/09/2025: We called to ask if it was possible to swim on this beautiful beach without having to pay for a lounger and umbrella (my girlfriend and I were passing through and would be leaving shortly). We were told that access to the sea would only be permitted if we decided to pay for a lounger and umbrella at the modest sum of 40, and I repeat 40, euros each. Are you kidding me? This is unheard of, in addition to the fact that no establishment can prevent access to the sea because it enjoys a state concession, not private property, these gentlemen have fenced off with barbed wire the section of beach with the rocks far from the restaurant, where everyone can easily access it with full rights. Not content with that, they also installed a large camera to monitor the area. I hope the competent authorities intervene and shut them down as soon as possible. You are shameful.

07/09/2025: The beach is beautiful, but unfortunately the only beach club offers rentals at prohibitive prices, and the services offered are mediocre. I don't recommend it.

16/09/2025: The fish quality isn't bad, but the pasta is left floating in oil. The waitress was friendly but completely absent. She comes to take the order and clears the plates in apathetic fashion. There are dozens of flies circling the tables.

20/09/2025: We are tourists and immediately regretted eating here. We were treated in an extremely racist manner. While the other local guests were served immediately, we waited over an hour only to be given leftovers.

11/09/2025: I've seen a lot of negative reviews, but you have to understand the concept behind this place. I found excellent wine, a top-notch selection of cured meats and cheeses, and delicious bruschetta, always with warm cured meats. The prices are a bit too high.

24/08/2025: The chef comes to the table to explain what's on the menu, and this alone speaks volumes about the quality of the products offered. All the dishes exceeded expectations, everything was fresh and prepared to perfection. This will definitely be a regular stop for years to come.

17/08/2025: Excellent. A rediscovery with the old management (ownership) returning. Wonderfully cooked fish and country grass pea soup with Ventotene cuttlefish. We were only there for two nights (unfortunately we left), but it's one more reason to return to the island. Special mention to Daniele, who was very kind and helpful and even took care of my back by providing a special pillow... See you soon.

12/08/2025: Very beautiful location, seen from the outside, of course... Because you can't even take a step forward before the owner greets you with his dazzling smile (just kidding) while checking out your outfit! So, we ask for two loungers and an umbrella, and he tells us they have it available. "But it costs 70 euros for the fourth row." Quote: As if to say, I don't know if you can afford it!!! Okay, okay, but you're exaggerating 😂 I'll write to you a little later, for just 21 euros, comfortably lying on the lounger. Have a nice day

30/06/2025: Spritz for 15 euros. Not even at the Lido in Venice.

03/09/2025: Tough potatoes, overcooked with terrible oil! Then I find out that the potatoes are cooked twice (according to the guy behind the counter). He says the owner wants it that way because it reduces cooking time! But for goodness sake 🙈🙈🙈🙈 that's why they're so awful! Since they boast about using good oil, they should also put up a sign specifying that the potatoes aren't cooked fresh but reheated in oil 🤮

16/07/2025: Terrible experience, I ate very badly, ultra salty, acidic sauces, I had a terrible bowel movement... Both my friend and I felt sick with that heat, the sauces cannot stay in contact.

24/08/2025: A must-try for an immersive dinner in the historic center of San Felice. Delicious fried anchovies....

18/08/2025: I went in for a Coke and a lemon tea, and after waiting a couple of minutes to find out the price, I was told €8. Crazy. Plus, the staff was unqualified.

31/08/2025: I never go there. The one time I went for a quick bite, the POS terminal under the register was out of power. The girl at the counter made me make the transaction twice, claiming she hadn't taken the first one because she was charging. She asked me for my card and didn't give me a receipt or a copy of the payment. Moral of the story: Two days later, the account entry showed I had paid twice. My mistake for not demanding it. NEVER AGAIN

30/08/2025: Staff incompetence. Mistakes are acceptable, repeats are not, and above all, it's unacceptable for customers to grumble and complain about yet another mistake. Anyway, I appreciate Alice Pizza in general; this doesn't even seem to belong to the aforementioned pizza chain.
