18/07/2026: The central bar, La Perla, is my go-to place when I'm passing through Borgo Hermada. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the bar is perfect for any time of day, from breakfast to after-dinner drinks! The food is excellent, as are the croissants, gelato, and crepes! It has a large indoor dining area and, in the summer, outdoor seating. Located in a strategic location where parking is easy. 5 stars! 😃

29/03/2026: What can I say?...the pizza is delicious, and they make fabulous potato croquettes. The staff is polite, friendly, and very helpful. The place is clean, tidy, and well-maintained. I come here once a week, and I'll always be happy to come back. It's my favorite pizzeria.

17/06/2026: Arizona salad very good and gluten-free, soon there will be a kitchen specifically for celiacs! I went back and had another Arizona salad with chicken strips and cheese squares plus on the side 3 more chicken breasts with bacon and barbecue sauce not bad but the latter arrived cold as a dish I would have liked it hot, I added a gluten-free beer and I paid 33 euros! And as for the gluten-free cuisine, apparently we still have to wait for them to organize because unfortunately it is not available yet, but for now the two times I have eaten there as regards celiac disease I have had no problems!

10/07/2026: We spontaneously drove to Formia last night for dinner. When I entered the restaurant, having come from the city center, it was uncomfortably humid. We then walked through an air-conditioned area with red and white checkered tablecloths to the terrace overlooking a parking lot. It took a very long time for someone to come and serve us, even though we had been shown to a table; apparently, the server had forgotten about us. I should have followed my gut feeling and left, which unfortunately I didn't. We ordered a beer, water, a Pizza Diavola, and Involtini di Melanzana alla Parmigiana. The pizza was doughy, not spicy, watery, and soggy. Edible if you're hungry. The involtini were an unrecognizable, inedible mush. My wife also told the server, who said that's how it's supposed to be. The pizza only cost €7, the 0.66l Peroni beer €5, and the involtini €18. In total, I paid €35. The price was reasonable, but the service and food simply weren't worth it. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant.

20/06/2026: Centrally located in Formia, perfect for parties and group dinners. The pizza is delicious, with a wide variety of flavors and an easy-to-digest dough. The appetizers of fried foods, cured meats, and cheeses are top-notch. The staff is courteous and welcoming.

25/10/2025: I'm sorry I returned this summer after three years. They're always kind and accept dogs, although it's best to leave them indoors if possible. Indoors, given the outdoor layout of all the restaurants in the port, with tables too close together. My rating is based on the dishes served. I think they've changed the chef and the recipes. The pappagico appetizer was much larger in portion size and also included a few more dishes. The fish was definitely fresh, but tasteless. It was flat. Nothing stood out to differentiate the flavor. The biggest disappointment was the pappafico risotto, the dish that made me fall in love with this restaurant. What I was served was completely different: a seafood risotto, poorly made, with a sauce that the original didn't have, and soaked in oil, like you wouldn't find in a diner. Truly awful. I don't dispute the freshness of the fish, which I couldn't appreciate so much as the flavor was masked by this disgusting and sickening sauce. So heavy that it couldn't be digested all night. It's a shame the risotto al pappafico was in something else and will make me cross this restaurant off when I'm in Circeo. It's not a question of price—I don't review what's available—but of taste. It's a real shame I don't know I can taste real risotto pappafico anymore.

15/07/2026: An unpretentious restaurant, with generous and excellent dishes and reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and welcoming. In addition to the dishes pictured, the spaghetti with clams is delicious.

15/07/2026: We went to dinner at this restaurant recommended by a local. We ordered spaghetti with clams and fried fish. The first course was quite good, but the fried fish was absolutely not. The price was fair for the quality we ate.
