11/02/2026: Good croissant, but at the counter they mix up one order for another, and a long wait at the register because they get lost in chatter. Lots of rules behind the counter but little attention to the customer. Anyway, a nice, clean, and well-stocked place. You're young, you can do better.

11/09/2025: A truly fantastic place overlooking the village of Cori. A large grill welcomes guests, and behind it is a splendid oven for making excellent pizzas. The selection of meats is extensive and cooked to perfection, and the selection of perfectly cooked pizzas is equally splendid. The service is impeccable, and you're immediately welcomed with a warm welcome. The homemade walnut bread is crunchy.

07/09/2025: We stayed for one night. The B&B rooms were meticulously designed, from the cleanliness to the furnishings. The staff was welcoming and super helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

30/08/2025: From the service to the dishes, everything was exquisite! We chose the tasting menu, which was very balanced and delicate.

14/02/2026: We dined on February 14, 2026, and despite not having a reservation (which I recommend so you don't wait too long), we were seated very quickly. Although the name is French, it's an American-style pub where you can also sit and eat at the bar, just like American tradition. We tried a hot dog with sausage and fries, and the "Prepotente" sandwich. The burger was nice and thick and cooked just right, with super crispy bacon and truly well-balanced flavors. The service is quite fast. There's an excellent selection of draft beers and a vast menu that offers vegan and FIT options, suitable for every occasion.

07/10/2025: A place with a French name but an American feel, good draft beer, fairly fast service, and a lively atmosphere. The burger we ordered was tasty, but the amount of meat was insufficient. The fries were dry and warm, but tasted like frozen food. The sauces were typically industrial. Overall, a good experience, but with a few tweaks, it could be exceptional (homemade fries and sauces, 200g burgers)... they have the skills, but perhaps that's enough.

09/02/2026: On the road to Monte San Biagio, this restaurant boasts beautiful, well-preserved local architecture. It's spacious, warm, and welcoming, yet relatively quiet despite its crowds. The meat dishes are exquisite, and the first courses are unique and excellent. Top-quality ingredients and generous portions. The staff is professional and friendly. Good value. We'll return every season to sample their specialties.

26/02/2026: Even though it's close to my house, I didn't know about it. I stumbled upon it a month ago and had such a great time that I planned dinner last night. Excellent food. I highly recommend the beef burger, fried zucchini flowers, ossobuco, and tripe. The pasta dishes and pizza are also excellent. Friendly staff, excellent service. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

12/01/2026: Excellent lunch, friendly and helpful staff even when the restaurant was completely full. We ordered the specials of the day, which drove the bill up. Two first courses, two second courses with side dishes, water, and wine, €80.00. Everything was excellent.

11/01/2026: A magical place, not only for the delicious and truly exquisite food, but also because it's a warm and welcoming place thanks to the incredible service from everyone who works there, who makes you feel right at home. Simonetta, Valeria, Lorenzo (who recommends the best wine from their cellar), and the entire staff make dinner a unique experience you'll want to return to again and again. One hundred percent recommended.

18/12/2025: A quaint and welcoming restaurant in the village of Maranola, perfect for enjoying Italian and Mediterranean cuisine with local ingredients and well-prepared dishes. Generous appetizers, quality first and second courses with traditional flavors. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rustic atmosphere is truly special, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Reservations are recommended as seating is limited!

15/12/2025: I’m glad the search for lunch brought us up. The setting is beautiful. Just remember not to follow GPS the last 3 min up the steep and narrow slope but continue on the road with a left turn to public parking. The restaurant was very welcoming and super attentive in their service. We ordered the steak, pork chop and fettuccine with porcini, side vegetables with house red. Portions were generous and we liked best the side dish of mushroom/pumpkin/celeraic which was served cold. The steak was very well prepared as was the perfectly al dente fettucine. Pork chop could have been more moist with more Wish we had got a proper bottle instead of house as it seemed to have not been properly stored. But for the price of 5 euros one really cannot complain! Otherwise a very excellent meal. Wish we had more stomach for dessert as we wanted to try the house made tiramisu and cheesecake. Thank you for a good memory Osteria Castello 43!

08/02/2026: The place isn't immediately eye-catching from the outside, but once inside, it's surprisingly warm, welcoming, and clean. The mixed antipasto and meat dishes are excellent (they cook them to perfection). Prices are average, and the service is high-quality and friendly.

25/01/2026: Excellent food and quick service. I accidentally didn't recommend the chicken steak with porcini mushrooms, and I also accidentally left out the roast potatoes. I've been back after a few years, and everything is still delicious.

23/10/2025: With the utmost respect for those who work hard and strive to achieve the best results, we felt it was only right to offer our own contribution regarding our experience at this restaurant. I'll start by saying that, as Tuscans, when it comes to meat at the table, it's always difficult to make "foreign" judgments, but with a little objectivity, it can be done. And that's precisely the point: the meat. I had fond memories of Osteria 1701 from 2018, brought by friends, and my memory brought back a beautiful Florentine steak of far superior quality than this last time. I wanted to share this experience by bringing a couple of friends. According to those present, only the beef fillet passed the test, with no particular enthusiasm regarding its taste and texture, especially considering the price tag of 70 euros/kilo. The tagliata (declared Angus), however, are to be forgotten, especially the one with the "treasure hunt" of mushrooms (actually transparent), which was marked up by €7 instead of €20 for approximately 250 grams of meat. Despite being cooked rare, it was tough, dry, and lacked the classic fresh, neutral aroma. The few mushrooms that were present were unfortunately tough and tasteless. The sautéed chicory was good, although too dry and stringy; the baked potatoes and desserts were excellent. The 100% markup on Riflessi di Sant'Andrea at €12 was "discounted." The plating was basic, sometimes too much, and the service was average. The flies were a nuisance, and there was no air conditioning because he said they were "annoying." To recap: Three covers for a total of approximately 750 grams of meat, 2 side dishes, 2 desserts, 1 Riflessi red wine, 2 bottles of water for €102.50. It's a shame, beyond the price, especially for the betrayed expectations, maybe we will adopt the principle of "there's no two without three ..." and the next one will go better?!

22/10/2025: The food is excellent, they don't skimp on quantity, and the wines are also well-suited to the type of restaurant and menu, as is the location. A great place for a meat-based evening, we'll definitely be back.
