17/09/2025: [updated 09/16/2025] I'm a regular. I've stayed at the Tavernelle Hotel and Restaurant several times, and I pride myself on knowing the people who work there thoroughly, or at least getting to know them enough to return not just for lodging but for a "visit." Although it's not the most glamorous place, with the comforts of a hotel, I felt at home. I felt at home in a place I'm unfamiliar with, far from where I live. I ate well, as if my mother were cooking for me. I ate really, really well (I repeat). The rooms, though sometimes small, were more than adequate. The sheets were always clean and smelled fresh. The bathrooms were impeccable. The staff was friendly and courteous from the very first moment. Once we got to know them better, Cinzia and Mauro proved to be lovely people. Mauro sometimes has strange theories, but he makes me laugh, so that's fine. Perhaps I could use a fresh coat of paint. It looks like a neglected place, but in reality it isn't. The parking lot is very rough, but it does what it's supposed to. I've attached a few photos from one of the many times I was hungry, and I wasn't disappointed.

03/12/2025: The food was very good. We had a starter with truffles and duck ragù, a main course of sliced ​​beef with truffles, wild boar stew, and tripe, all accompanied by an excellent wine. The owner was friendly and helpful.

14/12/2025: Excellent pizza, an "old-fashioned" place but very well maintained and clean. Kudos to the staff; even though every seat was taken, they never lost their smile. I'll be back.

19/08/2025: Hi, four of us went out for dinner. I personally haven't had such a bad meal in years. I ordered a mixed grill, which tasted (I don't want to be mean) like a plate made with leftovers! We also didn't know what to order for main courses because everything was sold out on a Friday night. The service and cleanliness were mediocre. An experience not to be repeated.

The charcuterie and cheese platter was truly top-notch. I highly recommend this wine bar for a relaxing, delicious aperitif.

09/10/2025: A lovely place located a stone's throw from Piazzotto Montevecchio, a little out of the way but worth a visit. The lady is friendly and the non-alcoholic aperitif they make is excellent. In short, if you want a quiet place to have a good aperitif and then eat lunch, stop here.

28/07/2025: Best bar in all of Bassano. It's not worth going to the bars in the center and paying to be treated like a number when you can come to these two gorgeous ladies and be treated like royalty. They even offered me shots. If you have any qualms about these two ladies, contact me privately.

08/01/2026: I couldn't buy from the grill, the staff was totally confused! I was first in line, but I couldn't order because the three employees seemed like they had just woken up from their sleep!!!

11/01/2026: Terrible. Over a half-hour wait beyond the agreed-upon time for pickup. Rude responses. Pizzas much more expensive. AVOID. As you can see from the owner's response, the only strong point is rudeness. Everything else is disgusting. The place isn't very clean. Like the rude owner. New ownership, but the same old story. On Sunday, January 11th, we booked for 7:30 PM and after a 40-minute wait... nothing... and no delivery time. We left. SHAME ON YOU.

11/01/2026: A terrible and completely unacceptable experience. We ordered three pizzas at 7:30 PM, well in advance of course, and after 40 minutes they still hadn't even been started. Not in the oven, not being prepared: simply nothing. The disorganization was total. No order management, no time estimation, no communication. The more time passed, the more it became clear that the wait would only increase, with no concrete prospect of receiving the pizzas. For a takeout place, where speed and organization should be paramount, it was an embarrassing situation. After over 40 minutes of pointless waiting, we left without any pizzas. Absolutely avoid. Total disorganization and appalling service.

27/07/2025: I wanted to like this place because it was recommended to me, but maybe the chef wasn't there and the restaurant was understaffed. A third of the steaks were torn, and many others didn't want to open. We also ordered a steak, which was overcooked, burned, and tasteless. I don't like writing negative reviews, but it was a really bad experience, and I felt the need to write an honest and updated review. Like I said, maybe the chef wasn't there and someone was trying to keep it open, but that was my opinion when I was there in December. I'll try again when you reopen, since you took the time to respond, and I promise to update the review if it improves. I don't want to discredit this place because of a bad experience, but that was my opinion last time. (Also, I'm changing the review from 1 to 2 stars because you took the time to read my review and contact me. It shows you care and are always striving to improve.)

29/09/2025: A lovely place just outside the hustle and bustle of the city center. Excellent for an aperitif and perfect for a lunch break. The menu is always changing and very imaginative, and everything is made fresh. A family-run business with extensive experience, always attentive to quality and personal relationships. 💪🏻👍
