Ristorante Albergo Tavernelle In Altavilla vicentina

I come here often for lunch. Only home-cooked food and a set lunch menu. For the price, you can't complain.

[updated 09/16/2025] I'm a regular. I've stayed at the Tavernelle Hotel and Restaurant several times, and I pride myself on knowing the people who work there thoroughly, or at least getting to know them enough to return not just for lodging but for a "visit." Although it's not the most glamorous place, with the comforts of a hotel, I felt at home. I felt at home in a place I'm unfamiliar with, far from where I live. I ate well, as if my mother were cooking for me. I ate really, really well (I repeat). The rooms, though sometimes small, were more than adequate. The sheets were always clean and smelled fresh. The bathrooms were impeccable. The staff was friendly and courteous from the very first moment. Once we got to know them better, Cinzia and Mauro proved to be lovely people. Mauro sometimes has strange theories, but he makes me laugh, so that's fine. Perhaps I could use a fresh coat of paint. It looks like a neglected place, but in reality it isn't. The parking lot is very rough, but it does what it's supposed to. I've attached a few photos from one of the many times I was hungry, and I wasn't disappointed.
