03/07/2026: I've dined here with friends, feasting on game, several times and tried various dishes. I must say it was one of the best game dinners I've had. The price was fair. A word of advice: for certain dinners, try a medium-high range wine. The "sopa coada" is highly recommended.

19/04/2026: I don't understand the criticisms about the staff, but I found them excellent, from the welcome to the table service to the payment. But let's leave the rumors aside and focus on the real deal: the pizza was delicious, the dough was well-cooked, and I must say that the portions are quite generous. The wait time is shorter than average, the atmosphere is quiet, without disturbances or anything else. Perhaps the decor is a bit lacking, making the atmosphere a bit sad. But that's not the important thing; otherwise, congratulations. 5 stars well deserved.

02/10/2025: If I could eat at Origin every single day, I would! The food is outstanding and feels so carefully prepared. There is such attention to detail, and the flavors are unbelievable. The filet, mushrooms and potatoes were absolutely to die for-rich, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. It’s rare to find a spot where every plate feels this special, but Origin nails it. Truly one of the best dining experiences in Bassano!

04/01/2026: As I've read many other reviews, unfortunately, this is a place to avoid. The piadinas are stuffed with nothing! They're practically empty, meaning that for €7, €8, or €10 you're paying for an empty piadina. I've been to other locations of this chain, and it's absolutely not like this at the other restaurants. Whoever runs it obviously wants to close down soon.

01/01/2026: I went today with my daughter to try it, but I didn't like the service. The food wasn't bad, but very little for the price. Well, anyway, it's in the historic center and everything costs more there, but a little more vegetables and good service would be greatly appreciated.

06/05/2026: I stopped for dinner with friends: - Appetizers of cured meats and giardiniera. Good, but not overdone. - Asparagus risotto...not exactly perfect. - Grilled meat: more than good, shame I had the risotto first... - Desserts (tiramisu): bad.

26/04/2026: The room is good, the property is located in the middle of nature, dissatisfied with the breakfast as it was poor and with packaged products and the absent staff.

12/02/2026: €2.80 for a pancake that they don't make, with a sickening zabaglione filling, given how much alcohol there was, seemed EXCESSIVELY too much to me... there are better things out there at a more reasonable price.

02/05/2026: Nice and well-kept place, but the service is really too serious and rigid. They either consume everyone at the table, or you leave and have to vacate the table as soon as you're finished... and rudely. The prices are too high, anyway.

30/04/2026: The cappuccino and croissant were good. However, the staff was less than courteous, especially one gentleman who didn't return my greeting twice, making an annoyed expression on his face. Even though the bar isn't rated 1 star, with this kind of attitude, I can assure you I won't be returning, a behavior that other reviews have also highlighted.

04/07/2026: I've been passing by it forever on my way to vacation, but I'd never considered it. Yesterday, July 3rd, at 12:30, we took the wrong path and ended up there, hungry and thirsty. There were already several diners on the terrace, and to be on the safe side, we asked if we could have toast or sandwiches and beer. The very kind girl said yes and invited us to take a seat. While waiting, I saw beautiful plates of gnocchi, polenta, and stew, mixed platters, and more, being brought out. Our two sandwiches with soppressa, one portion of Asiago, and two beers went down without a hitch. Meanwhile, other tourists with dogs and bikers arrived, who were quickly accommodated and served. Finally, I went in to pay, and the owner showed me her homemade desserts. I thanked her, confirming that the next time I go up to the Altopiano, I'll stop for a regular meal. For me, 👍 😃
