19/01/2026: While exploring Piazza San Marco, I was feeling a bit chilly, so I stopped by a nearby restaurant. I had a classic croissant and a refreshing Americano, both delicious! The croissants were filled with apple jam, which was sweet and paired perfectly with the Americano. It's a bit more expensive than in Korea, but in Europe, well... The staff spoke Korean, which was a nice bonus!

09/12/2025: Excellent pizzas, the owners are very friendly, and the prices are great. We went back all three days we were there.

14/11/2025: Excellent cuisine, many dishes from first courses, second courses, side dishes and pizzas. All vacuum-packed (except pizzas).

02/10/2025: You can eat off the daily menu, which is good and affordable. I gave the service 3 stars, not because of the ladies' fault, who are very kind and helpful, but because the staff is understaffed due to the workload during peak hours. This affects the overall service. I'll gladly return, though.

19/01/2026: The ambience was warm and casual - exactly what we were looking for for our late evening drink near our flat. The prices are very decent, too. The owners were very nice, funny and accommodating language-wise for us foreigners (the girl behind the bar spoke English and even a little bit of French). Grazie mille ancora dal Canada! 😃🍁

16/11/2025: First stop for a few beers after arriving at the hotel. I felt very comfortable and at ease, as it reminded me of a typical bar like this in my neighborhood in Córdoba, Andalusia. We went back there the next day.

13/09/2025: Very cheap food and drinks, and very cozy! Unfortunately, the staff are rather unmotivated and take a while to take your order, even when it's not busy.

05/09/2025: Excellent breakfast! The croissants are truly delicious, fresh from the bakery and not frozen, a rare find in Caorle and absolutely on par with the best pastry shops. I've been frequenting this kiosk since I was little, and it's always a guaranteed success. The staff is kind and welcoming, and if you have a dog, they'll be pampered with biscuits and lots of love. Prices are fair and in line with those in Caorle. Highly recommended!

09/09/2025: We loved the pasta carbonara and the trofie al pesto, the homemade bread they served with the service was pleasant, and the price was very low compared to Venice. PHENOMENAL!!

24/06/2025: We've been coming here for years on our trips to Murano. This year we only had two macchiatos ☕️☕️ They still serve a good coffee at the bar for €1.30, with friendly staff at the counter. That alone is worth a stop 👍🏼

06/12/2025: I've been frequenting Strani in Venice for years, and it continues to be one of my go-to spots on Via Garibaldi. The main reason? The beer selection. There are always interesting, quality beers on tap, like Delirium Paranoia and many other constantly changing labels. The selection of bottled craft beers is also extensive and carefully curated: every visit is the perfect opportunity to discover something new. The porchetta sandwich deserves an honorable mention. It's a must-try before and after Venezia matches, a true ritual for many fans who gather here to share the pre-match atmosphere or discuss the post-match. The selection of cicchetti and tramezzini is vast, always fresh and delicious, as are the platters and sandwiches prepared with authentic ingredients. At Strani, there's always something delicious to accompany a beer or an aperitivo with friends. And then there's Giacomo, the owner: a real sweetheart, always smiling, kind, and helpful. It truly makes you feel at home, a true host of the sort you see less and less these days. Strani a Venezia is a slice of authentic Venetianness, the kind that's hard to find in the city these days. A sincere, convivial place deeply rooted in its neighborhood.

01/11/2025: Off the beaten track, highly recommended. The menu is only in Italian, but with the help of the friendly staff and Google Translate, it's no problem.

27/09/2025: The best pizza on the Venice Lido. All the other dishes are excellent as well. Excellent service, friendly and professional staff. The atmosphere is rustic yet refined, warm and welcoming, and the summer garden is lovely. The live music evenings are special.

24/01/2026: Now, as if the unworthiness of the place weren't enough, it's worth remembering that, having booked well in advance, we were nonetheless left to stand there like tormented souls. For over a full hour, we remained in idle and humiliating waiting, without any local servant deigning to seat us or to offer us any explanation beyond silence or vague, unfulfilled promises. This treatment, more appropriate for a stable than a public establishment, demonstrates a total lack of respect for others and a disorganization worthy of a market on a stormy day. What good is it to book if you're treated worse than a chance visitor?

12/01/2026: I went with friends. The lady served us in a somewhat rude and hasty manner, as if she were in a hurry. The place was quite noisy on weekends, but I could still hear constant scolding coming (I think) from the kitchen. The service took a bit long, the food was mediocre, and the prices were quite high. There are better places in the area.

25/08/2025: We had a truly wonderful evening at La Pagoda! As a family of four (two adults and two children), we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive, and they made us feel completely at ease. The food was outstanding — the fillet steak was cooked to absolute perfection, tender and full of flavour, and the desserts were just heavenly. Our children also loved their meals, which were beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. It’s rare to find a restaurant that balances fine dining with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, but La Pagoda does exactly that. The setting itself is lovely — elegant yet cosy — and you can really feel the care and pride that goes into both the service and the food. Everything about the evening felt special, from the pace of the meal to the attention to detail. An all-round excellent experience. We left with happy hearts (and full stomachs!) and would absolutely recommend La Pagoda to anyone visiting the Lido. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Venice!

01/09/2025: Excellent experience at the end of August The fried fish was really good, tender, and had a variety of fish. The pizza, too, was thin, crispy, and easy to digest.

20/11/2025: For a seafood stop in Livorno, a visit to this kiosk is a must. Fried fish and much more at affordable prices.

09/11/2025: Had a delicious plate of home made gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts, with a great view!
