08/10/2025: The atmosphere is a bit anonymous. Breakfast isn't much of a highlight during the summer months. If they organized aperitifs or added a bit of liveliness, it would be a huge success. Unfortunately, it's a bit "dead."

07/09/2025: A restaurant with great potential, but it's run very poorly. The menu is truly basic, the staff is disorganized and wanders around looking for a table, dishes get lost, the manager loudly scolds the waiters, and the prices are high and definitely not justified for the quality/quantity. Highly not recommended, a shame because the location is fantastic. We'll be back, perhaps when the management changes.

13/09/2025: Very cheap food and drinks, and very cozy! Unfortunately, the staff are rather unmotivated and take a while to take your order, even when it's not busy.

05/09/2025: Excellent breakfast! The croissants are truly delicious, fresh from the bakery and not frozen, a rare find in Caorle and absolutely on par with the best pastry shops. I've been frequenting this kiosk since I was little, and it's always a guaranteed success. The staff is kind and welcoming, and if you have a dog, they'll be pampered with biscuits and lots of love. Prices are fair and in line with those in Caorle. Highly recommended!

01/10/2025: The only meal I had in Italy that I didn’t like. Over priced and high table/service fee added. Came in because we heard music. Stopped shortly after we arrived 🙄wouldn’t recommend

29/09/2025: I went as a group on the recommendation of the tour guide. The menu isn't clear on the menu, nor do the staff explain it to you. It costs €30 per person and includes two courses, a quarter bottle of wine, a half bottle of water, and dessert. The bottle of wine is already open, and the water is obviously a refill. The first course was Bolognese, and at first glance, it looked ordinary; the sauce looked like it came from a jar and tasted very sweet; it was of poor quality. The second course was a Caprese salad, and it seems like the tomatoes were cut into four huge pieces. It only had oregano, no oil, pepper, or basil. Dessert was tiramisu. The bread was dry, like it hadn't had any coffee for days, and the cream was super sweet. The group menu isn't good value for your money; it's tourist food.

07/09/2025: The portions were really small. It seemed like they needed to cut corners on the products. But people pay and want to be satisfied. They gave me a receipt and I realized they'd charged me €10.80 for unused wine and water. They apologized, but what if I hadn't noticed?

06/09/2025: We were there with friends. The food was fresh and simple, the service was friendly, and all in all, it's a place you'll want to visit again and again.

21/09/2025: Great bar!!! The atmosphere is super cool and so are the waiters! I highly recommend it if you want to have a good time!

09/09/2025: We loved the pasta carbonara and the trofie al pesto, the homemade bread they served with the service was pleasant, and the price was very low compared to Venice. PHENOMENAL!!

27/04/2025: Encontramos este bonito restaurante por casualidad y no nos decepcionó. La comida era muy buena (ñoquis, espaguetis con tinta de calamar, tomate y mozzarella,...) y no se puede superar la vista. El precio era medio (unos 140 euros para los cuatro) para Venecia. Sin duda volvería allí de nuevo y lo recomiendo.

21/04/2025: Le restaurant est situé sur une terrasse flottante au bord de l’eau. On voit les bateaux passer. Très bon accueil Nous avons pris 2 plats - Spaghettis préparés dans une demi meule de parmesan. Un délice - Moules et palourdes en sauce avec tomates cerises et basilic avec chapeau de pain. Du jamais vu. Un vrai coup de cœur !

17/09/2025: We popped in for a coffee for breakfast, but couldn't bring ourselves to leave, so we stopped for lunch, drawn by the family atmosphere and the delicious food displayed at the counter. Everything was excellent; it's truly pleasant to linger for an hour, if not longer, at the outdoor tables overlooking the fishing boats moored at the dock.

09/08/2025: Our salmon lasagna looked and tasted like a convenience store product. Absolutely inedible. We returned the food and, when paying, informed the manager that the food wasn't good. He left with a smile and a shrug. No apology or any kind of response. Not recommended.

12/10/2025: Our server was lowkey depressed… is he ok? Anyways, pizza was pretty good value for the size and price, especially in comparison to the area. Carbonara was quite filling for one person. One star off because it still is a bit expensive for the quality of what’s being served, but it’s a tourist area so to be expected.

27/05/2025: Locale molto caratteristico. Abbiamo cenato fuori di fronte al porto al tramonto, molto bello. Piatti buonissimi, forse l’attesa è stata un po’ lunga ma comunque non avevamo fretta. Consigliato

23/05/2025: Accoglienza e buon mangiare questa in modo stringato la mia esperienza. Ho assaporato due classici del luogo cappesante e sarde e gamberi in saor. Tutto molto delicato e ben fatto un calice di vino per innaffiare e una gentilezza che non guasta mai! Da provare ..

14/08/2025: We went there today. The place to be. To be in this atmosphere. And the experience was good despite the heat, 31 degrees. With 2 Blue Marry cocktails. The interior decor is exceptional. Good service and in front of the place and a private concert of good soft music. . The bill is attached. Go there without problem and look inside... top

13/08/2025: The beautifully decorated ground-floor bistro, as well as the Caffè Florian, offers a short but delicious menu. Delicious fried fish and vegetables, cooked to perfection without overwhelming the flavors. The chicceti are famous and the portions very generous. Reasonably priced for the service and location. Finally, the warm and impeccable service. We return every year with the same pleasure.

27/07/2025: We went only to the cafe. The people working there are extremely nice and friendly 😊. Food and drinks are a bit pricey, but it makes sense for the luxurious atmosphere, clean bathrooms, high-level service, and gourmet dishes.

03/06/2025: Not living in Gazzera, we are "occasional" customers, but every time we find confirmation of an attentive and kind service. The quality is guaranteed as well as the embarrassment of choice in the pastry shop! It is rare to find all these characteristics together, and this explains why there are always people. Congratulations!

31/05/2025: Be extremely cautious with this place—especially if you’re a foreign tourist. They seem to take advantage of language barriers and the fact that visitors may not be able to assert their consumer rights as confidently as they would in their home countries. We were a group of five friends. Everything seemed fine when we ordered, but then we were served a lasagna with overcooked, soggy pasta, and what were honestly the worst bruschettas we’ve ever had—soft bread topped with chopped tomatoes, lacking any flavor or texture. BUT THE WORST WAS YET TO COME. When it came time to pay, we were suddenly told that individual payments were not allowed. The bill could only be split into two equal parts, and this applied whether paying by card or even in cash—unless we had the exact amount, as they refused to give change. Let me be clear: no one informed us of this so-called “internal policy” before we ordered. One staff member—who later introduced himself as the “manager”—raised his voice and told us we had to “figure it out among ourselves” because they would not accept separate payments, even though we were paying with regular euros. He even mocked us, asking “What century do you live in?”, as if we were being unreasonable, when in fact, their rigid system is outdated and customer-hostile. I speak five world languages and have traveled across all five continents. Never—not even in other cities in Italy—have I encountered such an unprofessional and disrespectful experience. After the incident, I consulted my Italian lawyer, who confirmed that while restaurants in Italy may impose limits on how bills are split, this must be clearly communicated beforehand—before the order is placed. If this information is only disclosed at the end, the practice may be considered unfair or lacking transparency, in violation of the Italian Consumer Code. Furthermore, if there is embarrassment, pressure, or refusal to accept fair and lawful payment, the establishment may incur civil liability and be subject to formal complaint. In fact, even the restaurant’s website (accessed today) says absolutely nothing about this specific payment policy. I’m still considering whether to file a formal complaint with the country’s official tourism authorities.

14/10/2025: A real hidden gem in Venice! This place serves authentic Venetian tapas. The atmosphere is relaxed and local, not touristy at all, and the staff are welcoming and kind. Perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and some amazing small plates like the locals do. Highly recommended!
